I had such a great time hanging out with Binky and Ivy. They are both the sweetest little dogs and super easy to care for. It wasn’t necessary, but I allowed them both to sleep in the bed with me. They were so quiet it was like they weren’t even there. We went on lots of walks, which they loved. Faith’s apartment is so comfortable and unique. There’s color everywhere and any spice you can imagine. The bust stop into Geneva was right outside the door. It was so easy to get around and sightsee. Since the dogs have access to the back yard, you have time to actually get out and about. Faith is fantastic. She made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I’m sure I have a new friend for life. Susan was my first ever housesit which made it extremely nerve wracking for me, not knowing what to expect etc. Turns out I couldn’t have had a better try out than Susan’s place. Communication was super easy, she fully trusted me in using her car, sleeping in her bed, living in her home and of course taking care of her lovely girls. Wasn’t sure how long it’d take them to get used to me but 15mins after I arrived we were best mates. They were really easy to take care of, listened to me regardless (which is susan’s success) I just had a blast! Would def do it again! Susan’s very generous, helps wherever she can and got heaps of love for her dogs! Glad to have met them all!
Tom and Jill left us all the instructions for taking care of Louie. Very laid back dog that behaved extremely well. We had a great time with Louie and enjoyed their home tremendously as well as the things we were able to see and do in Lake Geneva. We would welcome the chance to hang out with Louie again if our schedule would allow us to do so. In all the sit was wonderful. Louie is a “10” in our book!
We had a lovely time getting to know the kitten - she is a real sweetie once she warms up to you and was no trouble 😊 Guy and Lindsay were lovely, very welcoming and great to talk to. The house was brilliant, tons of space and nice and cosy too. Area was also fab - a huge park at the end of the road with access to plenty of greenery and a canal. We had a great time and would love to come back and see the kitten, Lindsay and Guy if we can 😊
Perfect sit. Christine and Richard were very welcoming. We were left a very comprehensive guide on all aspects of the cats and beautiful home. The pusscats were perfect, very happy contented and very affectionate. The house was perfect, very comfortable on suite bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed. The floor had under floor heating, a real treat in such cold weather. Everything was perfect. We would like to highly recommend this sit and hope we are invited back in the future.
We've put off leaving this review for a while, because we really hate saying anything bad about anyone, and we've had all great experiences here except for this one! communication with lisa was difficult. when we were setting up the sit, she'd ghost us for a bit and then expect a very quick response when she got around to it. in our video intro with her, she kind of badmouthed her last sitters, which should have been a red flag, but we believed her until after our experience when we read her review of those sitters and their response and saw the pattern. we know now to ALWAYS read all the feedback. we had to meet her the night before as an "intro" and then again the day she left to get her key since it was a fob. when we met her the night before, she informed us she'd be getting in at midnight the day she got back and we'd need to wait because it was a key fob. we don't drive and she didn't get back until after 1am, leaving us to take an uber home, which was fine but annoying. we wish she had mentioned this sooner, but again, we should have asked for her specific times and assumed it would be in daytime or evening hours. the apartment itself was nice enough, pretty small and a bit cluttered. there was wet laundry in the washer when we arrived, and i reran it for lisa because it smelled pretty moldy like it had been there a day or two. the stove had some residue, which is not a big deal at all, except i didn't realize it and when i heated a pan and went to the bathroom, the smoke alarm went off and it was located on the ceiling which was very high, i would guess about 20 ft up. since space in the apartment is limited, lisa's "dining table" is an outdoor-type table which waas not very stable to stand on to turn off the smoke alarm. lisa told me it happens to her all the time, yet she left bad feedback for me, wondering why the smoke alarm went off, even though i told her and handled it quickly. none of it was a big deal for me, but lisa's responses were just really strange. lisa left very detailed instructions, which was great. we followed all of the instructions to a "t", including sending her daily pictures, yet in her feedback for us she rated us low, claiming we didn't send "consistent" pictures, though we sent at least 4 per day... she could have been more clear with those expectations. i've seen similar feedback on here from another sitter and i wish i would have read all the feedback before we did the sit. nani is a great dog. she has some aggression issues towards other dogs and is not particularly savvy of streets and other obstacles while walking, but lisa was very upfront about that. lisa also informed us that she takes nani everywhere and tells people she is a service dog, which she is not. this made us a bit uncomfortable, especially with the aggression towards other dogs. on the first day we left her alone for about 3 hours as lisa had said she was used to being left alone 4-5 hours, but when i returned it seemed clear that she really didn't want me to go, so the next day i took off work entirely and brought nani everywhere, hoping i wouldn't have to lie about her being a therapy dog. we had a couple of run-ins where we needed to react quickly, and it was fine, nani is very sweet to people and was great in the house! coo coo is also a sweet kitty and snuggly when he warms up! after the sit, lisa did not share any negative feedback with us. she had previously confirmed us for a second sit, but when we asked her to make sure, she changed her mind as if it wasn't confirmed. we then canceled our application for two other future dates that had not been confirmed and within hours lisa left us negative feedback. it definitely seemed personal and retaliatory, since the things that she claimed either did not happen the way she said, or she had not communicated well about. all in all... lisa's apartment is in a super neighborhood. the pets are really sweet and cute. i feel like lisa expects a lot without communicating it and doesn't really see housesitting and petsitting as equal energy exchange, which explains a lot of her behaviors and unrealistic expectations. i hope that this was a growth and learning experience for her as it was for us. we've learned from this experience to follow our gut instincts. we are really easy going people and know what a privilege it is to be in other people's homes and with their pets and did not want to seem ungrateful, but over a month later, we still feel pretty bad about the whole experience.

Elizabeth has been our dog walker/pet sitter since 2023. Our dog, Charlie, needs 3 walks a day and Elizabeth takes good care of him. He gets exercise and enjoys time in her company. She is also great when our fire alarms went off in our house during our last trip. She disarmed them and sent pictures. We were happy she was able to take care of the problem. She is a great communicator and I highly recommend her to those who want to leave their animal with a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Elizabeth has been watching our first rescue dog Nico since we got him in 2021, and now our latest addition, Vinny. As with a lot of rescues, ours had some social/ behavioral issues in the beginning, but Elizabeth is an expert. She knows how to work with and around those issues and also make recommendations. The controlled socialization our dogs get when staying overnight with Elizabeth have been immensely helpful to their training. They come home pooped and happy from all the playing! She also offers reasonable pricing and flexible scheduling. If you’re in the Davis area, highly recommend giving Elizabeth a call.
Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn’t always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)
We’ve relied on Elizabeth for years to take care of our pets and house while away. Guinea pigs, fish, dog - she does it all and keeps an eye on the house. We’ve used her for weekends to over a month. I waited a while and now our dogs have had multiple stays here. Basically, it's wonderful! I've been on three surprise tours and they've all been great! My timid dog has gotten more and more comfortable and happy to get there. We did a few warm up days with him and then overnights before a long trip. My outgoing dog has always just loved it! I love the people there, they always do their very best to help me, 100% of the time. Also, several times I've been there people have insisted on leaving additional tips because they are so grateful to have their dog well taken care of... which I completely understand. Thank you!!!
I recommend Happy Paws Kennels for your fur baby or babies :) The process to check in for boarding was really easy and quick. Plus, they have a new office located beyond the gates, which is always nice because you'll have a chance to see the other happy dogs that are boarded there. They were also very communicative and made it easy for bookings. They also gave me complimentary baths at the end of their stay, which was very nice! One feedback that I would add is that I wish they would send pictures of the dogs as a compliment to the stay. A suggestion for Happy Paws is to provide the options for clients to choose the option of receiving pictures and updates during the stay. I think that will really enhance and add value to the experience. Overall, the experience was great, and my dogs seemed happy.

Where to begin…I dropped my dogs off yesterday and my truck decided to just die right then and there. The team was SO fantastic and helpful trying to get it up and going. I'm a veterinarian who has been using Ashley's pet sitting services consistently for at least five years. She and her team are so reliable! Once when I was traveling in 2018, my house was broken into, and thankfully the dogs were not let out by the burglars. Ashley and her team handled communication beautifully, as well as coordinating with my landlord and the police. My husband booked a second honeymoon in Cancun and I was anxious. I didn't know what we were going to do about care for our baby, Scarlett. A coworker recommended Ashley's Pawsome Pets and we are so thankful. They are bonded and they are background checked. We had a meet and greet with our sitter. Which I appreciated so much. Our sitter, Amanda, was absolutely wonderful. She came twice a day and was so attentive to Scarlett. I couldn't have asked for better! She is amazing! My favorite thing is they have a journal with pictures so you know everything that happens with your fur baby. My only con would be the extra fees that aren't 100% transparent. The service is pricey, (but worth it), however, when I went to pay the bill, there was an added fee for administration and then again for credit cards (which I use for security.,) I'm willing to pay whatever is needed for the care of my pet, but it was a tad surprising. Thar said, they are amazing snd we love Amsnda! We will be using them again in the future! The service is outstanding!! The attached pictures are from Amanda's very detailed journals!

As someone prone to worrying, the pet journals and photos her sitters take and send daily are wonderful. While I have only had two different sitters, they are always kind, professional, and follow instructions well. I feel like my cat is in good hands when I hire a pet sitter through her.
We have left two different dogs in Ashley's care. Each time, we had so much confidence about how they were faring while we were traveling (in large part because Ashley sends pictures showing how comfortable and happy they are in her home; she sends sweet messages, too). Every aspect of the visit went exactly as planned; her website is easy to use and very informative. All in all, a very professional transaction with a very loving caregiver.
Our 2 black kitties are our pride and joy and we hate to leave them but now, in our retirement years, we are finally able to travel. After asking neighbors to feed our kitties, we tried Ashleys Pawsome and are VERY happy! We can schedule half-hour or longer sessions which include feeding, catbox cleaning and playing with our furry kids. Maybe better are the timely and thorough 'journal reports' we receive after each visit! We're told hew our pets are, and what services were rendered. Let the vacations continue!
Ashley was wonderful with our 3 dogs and cat for the two days we were away. She sent me pics of all of them each time she visited them during the day and I can say, they looked really happy! We've never left them before, so this was a fantastic experience for us, but mainly our dogs enjoyed her so much as well! Will for sure use your services in the future.

The dogs are always well cared for and the dogs play a lot all day long with each other. My dog loves going there because he gets to play with all the other dogs. When I leave my dog there and go out of town, I feel totally confident that he will be taking care of and fed and loved on!
We LOVE Pampered Pets! They take such good care of our little Mochi! She has a blast there. They always post pictures to update us while we are away. All of the care staff are very loving with the pups!
We have been taking our little “Apple” to Pampered Pets for her vacation while we are on ours since she was very young.She loves it. The minute she gets there she runs away her little tail going fifty miles an hour and never looking back. She loves playing with the other doggies and sitting on the owners lap. Stacy is ABSOLUTELY the most caring, thoughtful and thorough pet sitter that we have had! We have had overnights with many steps that our pups need (dog mom imposed I guess!) and Stacy never said anything was too much. Rather, Stacy understands that dogs are our kids - and they deserve the best care and love. She has a ton of affection and patience even for our “problem child” and loves all animals no matter their personalities. In a world where it’s so difficult to find pet sitters that really go the extra mile and not have to worry about anything - Stacy is a god send! They hit it off immediately, and it was such a relief to know he was in good care during an extended vacation of ours. Can’t say enough about how great Stacy is with my two senior fur babies! She visits with them while I work, and also takes excellent care of them when I go out of town. I could take about how amazing Stacy K is ALL day. My husband and I have 3 dogs, and have always struggled to find good a good sitter for them in the past. When we met Stacy almost 2 years ago, our dogs have never received better care, and we have never felt so stress free while leaving town because we know that our babies are in the best hands. Stacy makes sure they get their walks, rain or shine, and gives them so much of her time and love. Stacy was the absolute best! We feel so assured and at ease with not only the care of our beloved furbaby, but also the safety of our home in Stacy’s care while we’re away. I have been contacting Stacy K for the last 3 years to take care of my Kitties while we go on vacation. She is super sweet she even sends pictures of our fur babies while she sits and visits with them for a while. If you need a pet sitter Stacy is your girl. Great price and super reliable!
My job has me travel alot. I recently moved from AZ to NV and I didn't have a pet-sitter for my tortoises. I needed to go to Ca for training and Terrell was very respectful when I first messaged him asking if he would watch after my pets for the day until I got out of work since I couldn't check into my hotel until later in the day, and ai didn't want to leave them in the car while I was at work. They pet-sit for dogs, do require proof of vaccines, and would appreciate at least a couple of days notice so they can rearrange their room for the other pets being boarded. The business is run from their home, and they allow the other dogs being boarded to roam with each other, so they aren't caged up in a kennel all day. The day I stopped by they were watching over a newborn puppy along with about 5 other adult dogs. In the past they have watched after birds, but he mainly specializes in dog care. However he will watch over mostly all pets with enough notice. Keep in mind this is a personal, and private pet care service not your typical big franchise or well known business therefore, it is not going to involve any paperwork, and you do pay by cash. In order to know the cost all you do is contact him via his website by researching the name of the business and the option to message him comes up. When I asked for a quote he was pretty responsive, I messaged him around 6:00pm as I was leaving that next day, he got back to me around 8:00pm. If I remember correctly you could also pick up your pet at 11pm as that is the time they close their doors for the business, but you may notice that they do get antsy if you tell them a time, and aren't there minutes before, so you may hear from them via text when time gets closer to the expected pickup time. Otherwise, they seem to care after the pets kindly and are open to following instructions on feedings, pet care, or medications if needed. Best of all they surprised me with a couple of images of my pets while I was at work, as you can see my male tortoise dirtied up his water soon after they gave it to him.
We are really thankful for TJ service. After a last minute call he accepted both our dogs and was patient enough for both. He updates us everyday, highly recommended.
I took my two dogs to Tj's All Per Care for three weeks stay. Terrel went way beyond what he was asked for. He took a good care of my dogs, he kept me informed with daily messages of the dog's activities, he fed the dogs as he was asked. I'm very happy with Terrel's service and honesty. Great place! this was my dogs first time with a boarder and he definitely benefited from it. I was out of town on a work trip for 3 weeks and I didn’t want my dog to be in a kennel majority of the day so this was a perfect fit for us along with becoming more social with dogs. He went to the park everyday and TJ also sent me at least 2 pictures everyday and answered any question I asked on my pup. After I picked up my pup he has been sleeping wherever he can, definitely not the last time we’ll be using his services.
TJ runs his service like a business. We were especially impressed with his professionalism, foresight, and experience. While watching our dogs we encountered an unforeseen travel situation that he was able to accommodate with no issues. The entire time we felt completely comfortable and safe with him watching over our dogs. He provided daily photos and updates on how they were doing. We would definitely go back to TJ and recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, communicative, and professional sitter.
Terrell did an amazing job with my 7 month Doberman. We were in a last minute bind and Terrell was able to take him the day of AND keep my dog for 4 days. Terrell really does know how to handle all of the different personalities which is very important when you have a large dog with a lot of energy and separation anxiety. I noticed that when I picked my dog up that he was calm and leaning against Terrell as we were talking. We were very Appreciative of Terrell's flexibility and Happy with the state of our dog upon our return. We will be returning with no doubt!!!
TJ went above and beyond to accommodate us as we were moving from Japan to Fairfield. He has the most flexible hours for drop off and pick up and is reachable by phone at almost all hours. My dog has never been happier when boarded...probably because she is not locked in a concrete run/cage, instead, she is hanging out in a comfortable home! My dog was due her monthly preventative medication and TJ ensured she received. He takes all his boarding dogs to the local dog park and keeps them actively engaged with other dogs, toys, treats, and human interaction. TJ sent us daily photos/updates and it's clear he loves our dog almost as much as we do. I will be using his service again and again. In fact I'm hoping he will do some doggy daycare too!
TJ is Awesome! Knows how to handle and treat dogs, I have a old German Shepard and a old Jackussel mix. Both dogs came back happy and healthy. TJ takes them to the park, plays with them and let's the do what they want. He is very professional, polite, super responsive to calls and texts and sends pictures to you 2 time a day of your pet. I will recommend TJ to everyone!
It's a great place! It was my dogs first time with a boarder and he difinitely loves it. Tj takes him to the park everyday along with other dogs so this was perfect so he can be more social with other dogs. Tj also sent me 2 pictures everyday. TJ did a wonderful job taking care of my older labrador! I was in need of last-minute pet care for a day trip for work, and was SO grateful that TJ was able to keep my sweet old dog entertained while I was away. (He even sent me a nice picture of all the fun they had at the dog park!) My dog is pretty energetic and extraverted for an old dog, and he came home super happy and exhausted -- I think dogs that like to run and play with other dogs will have a wonderful time with TJ.
Cannot express how wonderful this business and its owners are. We've used them a few times for drop in care of our cats while out of town, and have always been impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility in requests, and most of all their sincere care of our pets. But this past week, we were absolutely blown away with how over the top Jen went in helping care for one of cats who was diagnosed with renal failure, while we ourselves were going through our own personal medical issues out of town. She quite literally saved our kitty's life by finding a vet ER with space, transporting him to and from the hospital, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. And all with the utmost compassion. She even texted the morning after we were all home to check in. We cannot speak highly enough of this company. Especially Jen. Thank you for lightening our load in the midst of a tough week. Recommend with 10 stars!!!
We are so lucky to have Barking Meow here in town. We have two kitties that needed care for five days. One of them takes a daily pill and for that reason we have not gone on vacation as a family for over three years. We found Barking Meow and for the past five days they took care of our cats with love, kindness, and care. We were able to go on vacation worry free and returned to happy kitties. We absolutely love Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We have a 7 year old chocolate lab that I hate leaving behind but when we must we feel so comfortable leaving him at Barking Meow. We receive daily morning and evening text with pics of Roux on his walks, playing or lounging with his home away from home family. I love that fact that Roux is not stuck in a kennel but with the family in their home where he is spoiled with interaction and love.
Barking Meow Pet Solutions does a fantastic job at caring for your pets. I have never used any pet sitting companies in the past and found them listed in Vacaville's Best, Jen and Brian are wonderful. They set up a meet and greet with you and your pets to go over their routine and any specific needs they may have, very thorough with taking notes and asking questions. What I enjoyed most about their service was the pet check in notifications in which you are able to see time stamped pictures of your pets, GPS location of the visit and can keep track of their water and food being refilled and refreshed as well as the litter being clean. If you are looking for a pet sitting company that will give you 100% peace of mind while you are out traveling, I highly recommend Barking Meow Pet solutions. I will certainly be requesting their services in the future.
Jen and team were amazing and so professional. I cannot recommend them enough! We had just moved to the area when we had to leave our 2 cats. It was so nice being able to leave them in our new home rather than worry about boarding them to minimize the stress/disruption. When we came home, they were both waiting in the kitchen for Jen--and were so disappointed it was US who walked through the door ha! We got pictures and updates every day and they were so kind in bringing in mail/boxes and taking out our trash. Will absolutely use again in the future and would recommend to anyone!

They are very accommodating and care for my fur baby like I would, which is important to me. Being an owner of a senior bulldog comes with many challenges. Jen and her company ensure quality, knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable care. She is a life saver helping me with morning walks, check-ins and care regularly and while I am away on vacation. They even have a nice new van equipped with crates to travel safely with your pup. I love their app as well and look forward to pics and updates from their walks. We have used Jennifer with Barking Meow Pet Solutions for five or more years. The first time we left Maddie, we were concerned about how she would be with a sitter. It's a great feeling to know when you are away that your pet is being cared for like you would. Whenever we are away Jennifer sends us pictures and messages about how Maddie is doing. Jennifer is dependable, credentialed and knowledgeable about caring for pets. We would never leave our Maddie with anyone else. When it's time for drop- off she goes right inside without hesitation like its her second home. They are the best and we highly recommend Jennifer, Bryan and crew!!
I can’t say enough good things about Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We are fairly new to the area and we interviewed a lot of pet sitters. Jen and Brian got to know our two corgis and the dogs just loved them. We left them with Jen and Brian while we went on vacation for 10 days. Our fur babies were walked, fed, and played with and loved. We received pics and updates everyday. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies. We just recently had to board our 3 dogs who have not been out of our care for YEARS. I was nervous how they would respond to us being gone until I had our meet and greet with these wonderful people. They are so caring and welcoming! They have a fantastic set up at their home which makes it that much more easily adjustable for the pups. We got text/picture updates everyday and they are very responsive to any questions I had. We will definitely be using their services again and would 100% recommend them to every pet owner!
Absolutely the best pet sitters! We are so thankful to have found Jen & her team! The service is above & beyond our already high expectations. Their updates & pictures of each of visit warmed our hearts to see the joy they brought into our home. Our pets bonded with them right off the bat & enjoyed every minute of being able to stay in the comfort of their home with multiple visits/walks each day. Medications, special food and crazy rituals were no problem. We now have no worries when having to leave our pets. Thank-you!!

Amazing people. Amazing experience. We responded to a post for a rescue beagle ready for adoption. You can tell this dog has been well taken care of. He was full of life when we met him... running around and happy. He smelled and looked very clean... they even had a special collar to help him... (I was told it lets out hormones to help him calm) OF COURSE we adopted this lil guy, he fit so well in to our family, it was a perfect match. But we really noticed how good Happy Campers Boarding Kennels is after the second day of having him. It was obvious they showed this puppy love, and they took the time to train him... he was well cared for and very responsive to us. I want to thank Happy Campers for giving us joy and allowing us to have this wonderful addition to our family. If we need kennel service, I know we would not have to ever worry if we bring our doggies here. I also love the piggies and donkeys and the furry cow!!!
The staff are awesome and are experts in keeping their furry boarders safe and comfortable. We have boarded our dog here at least three times already and each time, they took very well care of our little fur baby. Very much recommended!
I had my two cats stay at Happy Campers for about a week and they were great. My cats weren't overly stressed and loved the people who worked there. The people were very helpful and understanding of our needs and made the whole ordeal easy for this anxious cat mum. If we need to board our two cats again we will definitely choose this place .
We recently boarded our dog at Happy Campers over Thanksgiving and he came home with a severe case of kennel cough, despite being fully up-to-date on all his vaccinations, including Bordetella. The staff are very friendly, but unfortunately, we will not be using their services again. Quick Update: I attempted to reach out to Happy Campers by phone and email to alert them to the kennel cough situation. It's been 8 days since my email, and no one even bothered to respond. Which just goes to show how little they actual care about the wellbeing of your pet and the safety of their facilities.
We have been boarding our dogs with Happy Campers for YEARS!! Staff is excellent, our dogs come home FIT, and I can't thank y'all for the 💵💵 discount! We will continue trusting the care of our pets to HCBC for the long term future!!
If Happy Campers is full, I stay home with my dogs. They care for my babies like their own. I have dogs with special needs and they make the needed accommodations. They are very good at communicating anything that comes up while my babies are there.

We needed some help during our travels from NC to get treatment for our daughter and Happy Campers gave us invaluable assistance and peace of mind. Super great and knowledgeable staff. We leave our Belgian Malinois with them and he loves it there. Place is good for high energy working breed dogs but it’s a busy kennel so book early. Cannot recommend this place enough.
Read the reviews, they speak for themselves! I was not sure when I first saw the place as all you see is cinderblock walls and fencing, but it was clean. We have tried 3 other kennels in the area before finding this place 3 years ago. There's a difference between taking care of your animal vs providing a second home for your loved one. Rebecca and Caitlyn are animal lovers and convey it in ways they would not think twice about! We were worried the first time but got a text in the middle of our trip giving us a positive update on our dog...very thoughtful! He seems to know them as he wags his tail and goes up to them on his own (our vicious little protector doesn't normally do that (Yorkie)).
We love this kennel and will never take our dog anywhere else! We have been taking our Bernese Mountain Dog to the kennel for over a year now and it has been wonderful. The owners and staff are so nice and take such good care of each and every dog. I know my dog will be well taken care of. Previous kennels we have tried; when we picked our dog up he would always growl when we tried to pet him (which shows that he was abused). But after picking him up from Blue Ridge he didn’t growl and was his normal happy self.
We have taken our 2 dogs here many times. I love the staff! They are very friendly and love my dogs. We had to leave them once for multiple weeks. I would expect my dogs to not want to go the next time. But quite frankly, they cried and jumped all over when I drove into the parking area. They were SO EXCITED to be there! It was amazing and makes me feel very comfortable when I drop them off now, for sitting. I highly recommend them for your dog sitting needs.
We got a GSP puppy at the beginning of the year and the folks at Blue Ridge have been helpful and encouraging as we've adjusted to the GSP lifestyle. They're amazing! The dog is happy to stay with them and comes home healthy and clean
Blue Ridge Kennels has been such a gem to find since moving to SF! We travel every few months and it is the only place we feel comfortable leaving our GSP! They provide him with enough attention, exercise and love so we don’t have to feel bad about leaving him. We unexpectedly had to stay in NY longer during our last trip and they were very accommodating keeping him the extra days.
We boarded our 7 month old lab here while we were out of town, it was my first time ever boarding a pup and everyone was so sweet and caring. He came back happy and exhausted! While picking him up Steve took the time to answer questions I had regarding hunting and training. I would definitely recommend!
Blue Ridge Kennels is where we’ve been taking our pup for the last year or so. Best kennel hands down and they have a great military discount too! The folks there are very kind and will always text me updates and photos of my dog. I have peace of mind taking her here when I’m gone.
Steve is great with dogs. My callie had a great time at blue ridge kennels. I don't think she missed home to much. She is happy to be home now, and we missed her while at puppy camp. Rebecca also did a great job socializing her with the other girls at the kennel.
My GSP just came back from the two week gundog-kindergarten training. The staff at the facility are extremely caring for the dogs. Steve turned my puppy into a lifelong hunting companion, and for that, I am grateful. Steve also has great patience for those that are new to bird dog training. He will take the time to explain the "do's and don'ts" while you hunt with your bird dog.
I boarded my dog with training here for three weeks while away for work. Been over a month since I got her back and can't speak to any training done since I still haven't talked to the trainer. The one obedience item I asked to work on was her jumping on people and that has been worse since I got her back. First clue was the kid who brought her out let her jump all over him. It appears I paid for training and just got boarding. The neighbors could have done that and saved me a grand.
Once again, my fur baby Pete spent the weekend at 29 Palms Pet Resort. By far the best place to have him boarded. Pete seems to think of it as a vacation each time he pays a visit. I have considered boarding closer to my home in Sacramento, but choose to drive to Woodland as I know that Renee and her staff provide excellent care. While away from home I can relax and enjoy knowing that my baby is in good hands. Thank you Renee!
We lost our house to the fires and have 3 Pit Bulls, Renee took my pitties to board no problem. I've known Renee as a client from working at Animal Care Clinic of Woodland for many years. She is a wonderful animal person and a beautiful soul. I am thankful for the help she is providing not only for my family but she is going above and beyond to help others affected by the fires as well.
I have now boarded my dogs multiple times at 29 Palms. My drop offs and pick ups went smoothly. Renee was courteous and friendly each time. I’m sad to see others say different. I will continue to use this establishment for my boarding needs.
We have been taking our dogs to this Pet Resort for 15 Years. We drop them off every summer for 3 weeks. They have been extremely well cared for meds, fed rice at times needed and visited with other dogs they knew. One of the few kennels with outdoor runs for dogs. Owner loves and is devoted to all dogs. Manages a dog rescue org. We highly recommend this resort.
29 Palms pet resort us the bomb! My little Willy Wonka loves to come and spend the night. He loves his "auntie Renee". Rotts Of Friends is a great place to adopt a dog. Renee the owner is very protective of the animals in her care. You get a 6 week free group training class. Training both owners and dogs.
