We really enjoyed this house sit. Mary welcomed us with a lovely meal when we arrived in her comfortable and spacious house. The location is ideal for visiting various beauty spots in the area and Marmalade was no trouble. She did her own thing but also liked company and to sit on your lap. I would recommend this sit to anyone who wants to visit this area.
I could not be happier with my sit with Shari and her lovely home and cat. She was very easy to communicate with, beyond thoughtful and considerate, clear about expectations about the sit and extremely reasonable. The house was spotless, directions were clear, and the house was in a nice area. I felt safe and secure as a single woman. Everett, the distinguished gentleman cat, was a peach to sit for. He lets you know when he wants pets, sleeps a lot, and gives you lots of purrs to know you're doing a good job. Despite normal life events (including that I left some items there and had to change flight times, etc.), the sit felt smooth from start to end. I would highly recommend this opportunity and I would sit for Shari again in a heartbeat!
We had the most wonderful time with Zozo, she's a true gem! Sam and Elli were very responsive and helpful throughout the entire sit; they made us feel very welcome in their gorgeous home. They even left their car for us, which was very kind and generous. Burleigh is a lovely neighbourhood, the house is very close to the beach and has excellent parks nearby to take Zoe to. We can't recommend this sit enough, we would be more than happy to return in the future 🥰
We had a lovely sit for Bramble and Cosmo. To spend almost two weeks in the beautiful Cotswold with these two great dogs are why we are house sitters and travelers. Caroline and Matt were great hosts. They welcomed us into their home and got us situated the night before they left. They also took us for a fantastic dinner at the local pub. Made us feel very English already. The house was cozy and the conservatory where we spent a lot of time with the doggies is light and airy. Caroline is a Gardner and the backyard is well thought out with beautiful flowers of various colors that were in bloom. We took the doggies with us to explore the villages whenever we can. They are both good walkers and great cafe dogs. They are quiet and just happy laying at our feet when we had our daily cream teas. They like to stay close to us when we are back at the house. They were just such great companions. We would highly recommend this house sit. It is definitely one we would be happy to do again.
A fantastic sit with a contented cat within easy access of central London. We had a wonderful time with this lovely cat in a pretty flat. We met Fiona and Liz beforehand and they provided us with a guide and clear instructions for taking care of the animals and the flat whilst they were away. We had their contact details and were ensured that they were easily at hand had there been any issues. We spent some time at concerts and theatres etc but we equally enjoyed spending time at the flat with fizz. I would throughly recommend this housesit. Thank you Fiona and Liz for giving up your home and your gorgeous fizz for the week xx
Alice was very friendly and welcoming. She left clear instructions and her home is lovely clean and very comfortable. Zadie is a magical dog! We both fell in love with her instantly. She’s had a growth spurt so is a big girl with some puppy behaviour still (a bit nibbly) but does Very well heeling on walks and with recall while off lead. Very impressive for such a young dog. She’s wonderful and we’d definitely sit for her again.
