Cat Sitters in Arverne, NY

Kayla was a great housesitter and a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. She came over to meet us a few days before the sit, which was really helpful. I could immediately see that see has a great love of cats, and our 2 kitties warmed to her straight away. Her communication while we were away was great, regular updates and pictures and always wanting to be as helpful as possible. When we got home, our house was just as we left it, and the cats were both obviously relaxed and happy. Our older cat is a rescue, and can sometimes get very stressed while we are away, but that clearly hadn't been the case this time, has was very happy in Kayla's care, which was a big relief. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kayla or invite her back for future sits.

Adam has watched our dog Frankie twice now and we highly recommend him as a sitter. This time he watched her for a full week and she was so excited to see him. It was a mini vacation for her. As before, he was very responsive, flexible with our schedule, and took her on lots of fun adventures. Thanks Adam!

We can’t say enough great things about Stephanie and Chris! They treated our house like it was their own and understood our pets needs. They spoiled our babies just like we do, and even took Gemma out for an evening to play with some doggie friends. Our house was maintained and kept in perfect order. We had the great fortune of spending an evening with them before they left, and we have no doubt that we have made life-long friends, and would definitely welcome them back for a visit or a house sit anytime! Thank y’all for being so awesome!

Sarah took such a good care of our house and cats during the rare winter storm in LA. The kitties were so relaxed when we got home and the house was well kept and clean, even took care of outdoor furnitures to avoid damage from the storm. We were so happy to have her at the house and highly recommend her to anyone!

Bweela was absolutely amazing! Communicative, flexible, shared wonderful pictures throughout her stay showing me how comfortable and happy my babies were with her. I would happily have her come stay again.

Desiree was a wonderful catsitter! She was very patient with my cat, who was very difficult at first. She was also very communicative and took great care of the apartment. Would love to have her back anytime!

Marion and Craig are great pet and house sitters. They obviously care about animals and are interested in the details about what the pets want and how they like to be treated. Marion is a great communicator and worked with me to prepare for the sit and sent daily updates. The house was as clean when I returned as it was when I left. I would welcome them back anytime.

Amanda and Marcel were perfect house and pet sitters. Lovely people. We could tell immediately on our return that the dogs had a great time and were very well looked after. The house was immaculate too. What more can you ask for. We would welcome them back any time.

When Jackie rang the doorbell, both of The Girls ran to the door to give her a warm welcome and immediately took to her as she entered. Once she made it past the initial love and affection offensive offered up to all new arrivals, she was able to sit down on the couch to chat with us, and then they both jumped up by her side! Roxy wasn’t content to just snuggle up next to her like her sister did, but instead rolled over onto her back and put her head in Jackie’s lap, gazing up into her eyes like a lovestruck teenager. It was clear both of them were intensely and immediately comfortable with her, a good sign since in our experience, our doggos are a fabulous judge of character. While all was clearly going great with the dogs, we assured her it was normal if she didn’t see the cats right away; they would probably come out within a day or two. However, before we even boarded the plane, we received a cute photo of Nimbus poking his head out from around the couch with a curious look and the caption, “Look who joined the party.” Followed shortly after by a photo of Limerick saying, “And the gang’s all here!” Parker and I looked at each other and exchanged a knowing look and small sigh of relief: Jackie was *definitely* the perfect choice to watch over our furry family, and we would have no reason to waste time thinking about what was happening at home! While we were away, she consistently kept us posted on our pets antics by sending adorable photos of everyone throughout, allowing us to check in when we had Wi-Fi. Due to weather delays for our later flight, we opted to catch an earlier flight home the last day. Even though we arrived home hours earlier than expected, the place was already spotless, the bed had been remade, the towels were in the dryer, and there, on the kitchen counter, were freshly picked wildflowers in a vase that she admitted, “The Girls helped her pick out.” We could tell by the way they all related to her, the entire family had been well loved while we were away. It was also obvious they’d had quite an effect on her too, as she was clearly sad to leave them behind, saying how much she would miss them and even offering to be their guardian if anything were to ever happen to us, as we don’t have any family who could take them. Not only is Jackie an amazing sitter, she is a kind, generous, loving, warm and genuinely good human being, one who not only loves animals, but is easy to talk to and fun company to have around. Had we not had a flight to catch that first night, Parker and I could have just as easily chosen to go out to dinner or spent the rest of the evening in engaging conversation with her. If you get an application from Jackie to watch over your pets and home, don’t hesitate. Just hit accept and know that your pets will thank you for it! The next time we head out of town, we will absolutely be hitting her up first to see if she’s available, long before we post our next sit publicly.

Courtney was so great! She made sure we knew the pets were being well cared for, and even made a shared album to keep us updated with pet pics throughout her sit. Would definitely have her sit again!

This was our first experience using this service and Joseph and Parker were amazing! Very communicative from the start and they sent updates on Kali and Luna multiple times a day! They brought Kali on some fun adventures around the neighborhood and looks like they gave both Kali and Luna plenty of attention. When we got home after our trip, our place looked super clean and tidy. They even washed the sheets and towels and remade the bed! Super impressed with the both of them and would have them back for a sit anytime!

Toby is a conscientious person who is detail oriented. My cat loves him. He did a great job and I would recommend and ask him again to stay with my animal.
