They were both so kind, and I could tell instantly, how much they love caring for animals. We felt perfectly comfortable with Jess and Quinn at the helm while we were away. They took outstanding care of our two dogs and our home. They went above and beyond by sending us photos of the pups enjoying their staycation and they left our home impeccably clean and cared for. Jess and Quinn are responsible, responsive, friendly, and trustworthy. We recommend them highly and without reservation!
Goli and her husband were incredibly welcoming and communicative. I had some serious travel issues because of the Crowdstrike rollout and was flying Delta. They have a beautiful home with a lovely and enchanting backyard. The neighborhood is pretty hilly and a rather pleasant place to walk especially in the summer. In terms of location, the distance to the nearest BART station is manageable on the walk down but on a few occasions I took a Lyft back from there just to speed up my return. All of their pets were very pleasant to sit for although Hugo did have some unexpected tummy troubles. Capollo definitely took some time to warm up to me, and it took me a day or two to gauge his energy level. Once we both got a feel for each other our walks were pretty breezy. He definitely needs a slow pace. Since I did this sit solo I mostly did mornings in the yard and a long evening walk because I wanted to make sure he had enough energy to walk home. I would recommend that if you're considering this sit, that you have plenty of experience with dogs, and particularly seniors. Sage, the kitten, was a rapscallion. She enjoys chasing the boys around and escaping her collar. She's very sweet as well. The bunnies are pleasant to watch but I didn't engage with them much as their pretty independent. Given the number of pets and needs, I would recommend a very experienced sitter or experienced couple. Very thankful to have started my trip on the West Coast here 😊
Sarah and Vince are terrific hosts. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable in their beautiful home and garden. We enjoyed our first evening together with stimulating conversation over dinner. They showed us the nearby walking paths in the park, neighborhood shopping, and everything we would need at the house. Poppy is precious. She is extremely intelligent, affectionate, perfectly behaved and mellow and so very easy to care for. Our time with her was a total delight. We love her and miss her sweet disposition. Sarah's parents also live very nearby and were very gracious, offering to take Poppy for the day so that we could have longer time to go to Oxford and London on day trips. This was a short, very easy, house/cat sit. Jasper and Bobby are very calm, independent, and affectionate buddies. Angela was an excellent host and highly recommended. Very best wishes.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking after the fantastic four! The cats are really friendly, although some are a bit shy at first, they gradually become more confident over time. Lynda was exceptional; her kindness made me feel right at home.
This sit was perfect! Carol is a wonderful host and made us feel comfortable and right at home. She let us come the night before and made a lovely dinner for all of us to eat together. It was great getting to know her. The house is super cozy, and we absolutely loved the outdoor swinging "bed". Our favorite part, of course, was its proximity to the beach. It was only a 10-minute walk and was so quiet and peaceful. We did morning walks every day and one afternoon we decided to color while laying on beach towels; it was lovely. We also did a day trip into Tybee Island (where the sit is located) and another one into Savannah (only 20 minutes away) and we enjoyed both days immensely. Now onto the highlight of the sit, Molly. She is so calm and mellow and will want to lie down next to you, whether you are on the couch or on the porch. She did take a while to warm up to us and was pretty shy the entire time; but it was nice just to be in her presence. Would recommend this sit to anyone and we wish Carol the best and hope she enjoys future travels as well.
I had a very calm and pleasant experience. The hosts gave great instructions, made me feel confident in being able to take care of the house and know what to do in different situations and the neighborhood is very pleasant. There are cafes, restaurants, gym, market, pharmacy and everything very close by. And the dog is super cute and docile! I recommend this experience.
