We had an amazing week looking after Betty and Maud. Penelope was very warm and inviting and gave us a great handover and detailed instructions which help us feel comfortable and confident for the sit. Betty was a little timid at first but warmed up very quickly while Maud was very welcoming from the beginning. The dogs were such sweethearts and very well behaved, they loved to play and cuddle up on the couch with us. We went for lots of lovely walks around the area and the dogs were great company at the local cafes and pubs. Their house and land was beautiful and had everything we could need. Was located along the sandstone trail with lots of countryside and cute small towns to explore. We felt very comfortable in their home and spent most evenings in front of the with the dogs. Overall would highly recommend Penelopes sit, was very enjoyable with the loveliest of dogs. Thank you!
We LOVED taking care of this precious trio made up of Willie, Ace & Frank. As soon as we got in Willie was so excited to greet us, Ace is a cuddle bug that made us not want to move as to not disturb him and Frank loves to roam, but WILL come home for food & for cuddles. It was so sweet to see them all interact with each other and even better that wherever we were, they wanted to be too! Definitely velcro trio. Kelly's home is in a beautiful area of Houston, it was a treat to take Willie on his walks, location wise you are close to many restaurants, parks and to downtown. Kelly was very communicative with clear instructions. We'd definitely would recommend this housesit - but honestly we want to be the ones that come back :) we miss you Willie, Ace and Frank!
I loved my time with Stony. Stony is a beautiful orange Maine Coon who has been around since the turn of the century. It was great to be able to spend time with him. He totally melted my heart. Pamela and Victor were conscientious and great to work with. They were easy to communicate with and always available for any questions I had. They have a great support network, and I knew who to get a hold of if any problems arose. They even reached out to a past house sitter to stop by and show me the ropes, which was super helpful. They were organized and I felt prepared to deal with any situation. The Columbia River Gorge is spectacular, and Pamela and Victor’s home has a gorgeous view of Mt. Adam’s. Their home is cozy and filled with books and plants. Their yard is beautifully landscaped and filled with tons of sweet sitting spots. I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend there.
We had such a nice time pet-sitting Baby and Buddy! They are two adorable dogs, easy to take care of and very cuddly (Buddy will take some time to warm up, but then will approach you for cuddles all the time). Communication with Deepti and her husband was great both before and throughout our sit, and they have a beautiful home. I can highly recommend doing a sit with them!
Stacy was really easy to comunicate with, she even printed her welcome guide out and left it on the table for us! We got the chance to meet her and her boyfriend as soon as we arrived and they were super hospitable! Ralphie and Mia are pretty easy to take care of, they really just wanna eat, cuddle, and sleep. Mia is a professional climber, after just a few hours she got super confident and always wanted to lay on my chest even if I was just sitting on the couch. My boyfriend got closer with Ralphie and spent so long brushing him because both loved it ahaha! In addition, Westlake is a wonderful neighbourhood and the apartment has such great amenities! 100% recommended experience!
