Frank and his daughter were super friendly and very welcoming. They went over all the pet care and house instructions to a tee! The home is in a great area, nearby to Austin and many local coffee shops and stores.
You will not find a funnier, cleverer, sweeter, gentler boy than Tahoe. He also happens to be an excellent sleeper/ guard dog at night who will never ever wake you up until he sees (senses?) you stir. Popcorn, too, is an absolute sweetie, except she’s nocturnal so tends to party when no-one’s awake. But we did have a few brilliant late evening plays in a bathroom during which she impressed with her nimbleness slash ability to squeeze through super tight spots. Shannon’s place is lovely and comfortable, and the street is homey and safe, with a reassuringly well connected community. There are two big green spaces (commons) flanking the area, with many great cafes and eating places right on your doorstep. Tooting Bec station on the Northern line is literally 5 mins away and there are regular buses heading off to Brixton, Chelsea, Elephant&Castle, etc. An altogether lovely sit - thank you!
Willow is a beautiful gentle dog with a intensity for fun. loves games ball catching and cuddles. Alice and Alex Benjamin and Eva are a lovely kind and thoughtful family . Their home is very confortable with good Wifi and a good selection of streaming services. We enjoyed our time with Willow.
I only took care of Coo Coo the cat for this sit who was the sweetest cuddly boy. He is very low maintenance, likes to spend most of his time outside but likes to snuggle and soend time iwth you when he's in for the night. Lisa was communicative and direct, it was a simple and enjoyable sit. Lisa's place is also in an incredible neighborhood in Portland! It was a quick bus ride to the downtown core but the area right outside her door was worth spending most of your time in. Amazing food, thrifting, breweries, bars and people! Highly recommend this sit to those who have an opportunity!
Sara and her family were so friendly! They were excited to tell us about all of the great things we could see in Portland and even left us some coffee and craft beer. The house was very central. It was easy to get anywhere we needed to go using the bus. Their cats were also super cute. One of them would stand on his hind legs and catch treats with his front paws! This is a great place to stay if you want to explore Portland and take care of some adorable pets.
