From the very beginning, our experience with DéBorah was nothing short of exceptional. She was willing to take the time to visit beforehand, in order to get to know the dogs a bit and to talk through their routines. She spent quality time getting to know Bailey and Charlie, and she asked insightful questions about their routines, preferences, and needs. Her genuine interest in understanding our dogs' unique personalities and quirks was evident and deeply appreciated. During our time away, DéBorah kept us updated with a delightful array of photos and videos. These updates were not just reassuring; they were heartwarming, often capturing candid, playful moments that brightened our days. It was evident from these snapshots that a real bond was forming - something we hadn't anticipated, especially given Bailey's typically anxious nature. The ease and speed with which she developed a relationship with her were truly remarkable. We returned home to a spotlessly clean house and very happy and healthy dogs. We wholeheartedly recommend DéBorah's services to anyone seeking the best possible care for their pets. She is the best dog sitter we've ever had, and we hope that she'll be able to return to our home in the future.
Angela and Aaron were amazing house sitters. They lovingly took care of my dog and kitty. My house was spotless when I returned. I highly recommend them, and am hoping to rebook them in the future. They are lovely human beings, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, hiking with them, and sharing a meal with them.
Adule was amazing!!! She sent pictures of my cat and videos, brushed him, kept on top of his water and food and even vacuumed, changed the sheets, washed the comforter and took a video of my place before she left. She also helped my cat when he had an accident and cleaned him up. Overall I would love for Adule to stay at my place again!! Thank you for everything!!
Anne and David were so welcoming when we arrived to sit, we had a couple of hours before they were due to leave and after tea, we were shown the whole property, given a written guide and offered lots of food from the vegetable racks and fridge including some fresh eggs which they encouraged us to enjoy. Sadly they didn’t have chickens for us to look after this time, but we had plants, vegetables and pots to water. We spent eight fantastic days at their home which is situated in the countryside and has views across a leafy green valley. It’s just a 12 minute drive into Exeter for all the shops and restaurants. It’s also on a bus route with a shop and pub within two minutes walk! The house has a brilliantly equipped kitchen, a beautiful conservatory, and cosy benches to sit in all around the garden, with stunning views of Devon’s rolling Green hills. We particularly appreciated the dawn chorus from the birds each morning, the sounds of a wood pecker and the bats who came to see the sunset behind the hill. We had two magical outings that I would like to mention, the first was a walk around the small arboretum in the next village and another walk at Dunsford nature reserve with its walks by the river Teign. It’s really worth visiting both of these. This is a smashing place to sit, such beautiful gardens and a cosy house with everything you need in it. We highly recommend you add this to your favourites list. Thank you Anne and David for letting us stay in your gorgeous home. We really appreciated the care and attention that went in to making our stay so delightful.
