I had a wonderful experience with Joe and Casey caring for my home and pets. From start to finish, everything was great. They were very communicative, provided updates and pictures, and I felt very comfortable the entire time I was gone. Joe even saved the day by refilling my spa with water after the pool man came and left. I would absolutely have them back anytime.

A peaceful, welcoming housesit at the end of a quiet street! Minsky warmed up to me quickly, as only a cat can warm up--she was often asleep near me, but also loves her stick toy! I was also thrilled to have a bonus dog for a couple nights that I cared for a few months ago! Definitely five stars!

Astro & Cosmo were SO MUCH FUN. They were like teddy bears and secret service all wrapped in fur. SO protective, which translates to some barking when no one else would have any idea why AND snuggling as close as possible at all times. THEN, take them out on the trails and they are SO FIT and SO PLAYFUL. Jennifer was clear on communication, wonderful to work with through this process and the house is absolutely comfortable and easy. Highly recommend this sit and grateful to have met all of them!

James
We had the pleasure of staying at James and Amanda's beautiful home and looking after Torres and Frankie the cats and their two chickens.
Communication was great leading up to and on arrival. James and Amanda welcomed us into their home and showed us around giving us thorough instructions on what to do.
The house and the grounds are amazing. We didn't use the car the whole time we were there as there were so many lovely walks direct from the house.
We took our own food so we didn't need the shops but there are shops in Dulverton which is less than a 10 minute drive away.
We were given lots of information on things to do in the local area. One of our walks took us to The Anchor Inn in Exbridge where we stopped and had a lovely meal. It is right next to a river.
it didn't take long for Torres and Frankie to feel comfortable around us. Torres was never far away when we were in the house and enjoyed lots of cuddles. Frankie slept in the kitchen most of the time near the Aga where it was lovely and warm and cozy. The chickens were really easy we let them out in the morning and just before dark we opened the hut and they went in with no bother.
We would definitely recommend sitting for James and Amanda and we would not hesitate returning to sit again.

Jacqui and Malcolm welcomed us into their home with open arms and a lovely meal. Their home is a lovely cosy and clean bungalow in a very quiet and pretty area and we loved watching the squirrels and birds in the garden. Paddy loves company and will happily keep your lap warm or snuggle in his bed next to you in the house or the car.
There are lots of lovely walks straight from the house and Paddy will happily trot along beside you. Farnham is also only a short 30 min walk and Paddy loved walking around the Charity shops getting free treats. There are also lots of nice places to visit in the car that are only a short drive away and Paddy enjoyed coming along for the ride.

Joy
Having had plenty of communication leading up to the sit, it felt like I was meeting friends in Joy and Rob. They had kindly invited me the night before and we shared a lovely meal, getting to know each other even more.

Joy and Rob have a very well-presented, clean and tidy bungalow which I found most comfortable. Space was provided in the bedroom, fridge and freezer which I appreciated. It is also in a great location with a bus stop so close to access Shrewsbury. Plenty of information and books about Shrewsbury and surrounds are provided as Joy and Rob want their sitters to enjoy their location and stay.

Tally, their springer spaniel, is unaccustomed to staying with sitters. However, as she loves human company, it did not take long for her to accept me. She is a gorgeous dog, loving and very knowing. Joy and Rob were very organized in that they had all her dry food bagged for her twice daily meals so that I only had to add a little pate. The bagged food also contained some of Tally’s medication, leaving me only to add the dental plaque powder and arthritis pill on allocated days.

As I had a car rental where the agreement states no animals allowed in the car, Joy and Rob had kindly organized a dog walker to come twice daily to take Tally for short walks to the nearby woods, some of which I also went on too. I very much appreciated their thoughtfulness in this regard.

Ezzy, their cat, is very affectionate and most nights slept on my bed. She loves being patted and is very smoochy. She has a cat flap so is quite independent but is kept indoors overnight.

This has been a very enjoyable sit – warm and welcoming hosts, comfortable home, excellent location and, of course, two very affectionate pets – which I have no hesitation in recommending.
