Emily

Emily was with our pets Jimmy the cat and Carola, our dog for a 2 month stay while we were away in Spain. She was wonderful with them and they were well cared for and happy when we returned. Emily fell ill her first week sitting but we were able to send Carola to a local dog-walker/sitter for a few days while she rested and recuperated from a very bad flu. Jimmy stayed home and kept her company. Cats are easier to care for even when sick. The house was in order also with the aid of our housekeeper who helped out and knows exactly how and where things are kept and organized. Not speaking Italian may have been somewhat of an issue when problems arose but we have very helpful neighbors, hence the 4 star for self-sufficiency due to the language barrier. I'm certain she's perfectly self sufficient in English speaking situations. We did have an electrical problem when a fuse unexpectedly blew and a heating issue, both resolved within 24 hours or less. Unfortunately Emily was without heat during that time and we suggested she use the small space heater until the problem could be resolved. Always good to have emergency back-ups in place. I was able to reset the date/time for heating system with Emily by phone using whatsapp. We regularly received photos of her walks and park runs with Carola. Also photos of Jimmy snugggling up to her. The pets were obviously content during our absence and spoiled with brushings, treats and lots of love. Emily kindly bought us some breakfast foods when we returned which was very considerate. Emily is a reliable and attentive sitter. Your pets are in good hands with her!

Our dogs had a fabulous time with Carol, and they loved her from the minute they met! She is the perfect house sitter and what peace of mind we had, going away for such a long period of time, leaving our ‘girls’ in such capable hands. They were walked regularly, enjoyed the cuddles, treats, and all the attention they were given. Our two dogs are aging and slowing down, which was taken into consideration during their walks, and we can't thank Carol enough for making sure they were ok, especially in the hot weather! It was very reassuring to receive all the regular pictures and updates to let us know that all was well with the girls, especially about Peppi’s poorly sore that was tended to with care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer person, who respected our home, and took the time to water the plants. The house was looked after beautifully and was spotless when we got home! Thank you, for taking such excellent care of our girls, you are always most welcome to sit for us again or pop in for a coffee and a cuddle with the girls if you are passing our way! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Carol for house sitting as she is certainly a 5-star house sitter!

Lil was a fantastic sitter, house was left clean and tidy and Harry was a very happy cat. Lil was great at communicating before and during the sit with photo updates of Harry! Claire provided regular updates and photos, and we came home to a very happy dog and a spotless house. We wouldn’t think twice about asking her to pet and house-sit for us again. We are so grateful to camila for caring for our 2 boys over Christmas. Communication beforehand was excellent and she sent me regular updates of how the boys were doing which was lovely. The boys were well cared for and they took to camila well, she spent lots of time giving them cuddles and I knew they were well looked after. When it was time for her to leave the boys seemed sad she was going as they really enjoyed her company! Bernard especially can be quite nervous but he appreciated her calm and kind nature and the two seemed to make a real bond! The house was left lovely and tidy, bed made and dishes washed. I would recommend camila as a house sitter and would gladly welcome her back, thank you so much!

Communication was great from the start, we had no problems finding the house and we were left great instructions.

We loved our stay at Michael’s charming home and we fell in love with Laka! She is a sweet, mellow kitty who loves belly rubs and cuddling at night. Michael was a great host and communicator who provided very detailed instructions and helpful recommendations for the area. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for cooking and a relaxing stay. The neighborhood is very peaceful with easy access to a forested trail that leads to the beach. We also fell in love with Port Townsend. What a cute, friendly, historic town! We highly recommend Michael’s place and would love to sit for him again.

Coco will curl up in your lap and steal your heart. She is an absolute joy!  My stay with Coco at Angela's place couldn't have been more enjoyable.  Angela made sure I had everything I needed to have a great stay on Amelia Island and stayed in regular communication.

We had a fantastic time taking care of Diesel and Bleu, who are sweet, lovable, and extremely well-behaved. Patricia and Adriann were very welcoming hosts with a lovely home. When we arrived the night before they left for their trip, they provided a delicious dinner that left us with leftovers for the next couple of days. Their instructions for feeding and caring for Diesel and Bleu were comprehensive, and they responded immediately throughout their trip to any updates or questions. Their home is beautiful and comfortable, and is located very close to San Antonio and to various Texas hill country towns and parks. We really enjoyed meeting Patricia and Adriann and sitting with Diesel and Bleu. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
