Angie and Joe are fantastic guests and they took excellent care of our dog. They were very respectful of our routines and followed our instructions to water all our plants.
Jon was a fantastic host who treated us with kindness and respect. He gave us a list of things to do in Bozeman, showed us everything we needed in the house, and even gave us a thank you gift! He has a beautiful home and two sweet dogs, Grace and Chloe. They are very well behaved and great on walks and hikes. Overall, we’d highly recommend housesitting for Jon and it was a pleasure to meet him.
I had a great time sitting for Jacob & Miriam.Their wonderful kittens are the absolute sweetest animals! Super cuddly and funny. They could play wildly but not aggressively and were a joy to be with :). The house is really spacious with tons of sunlight, lots of plants, and lovely art so it’s really cheerful :). I felt relaxed and comfortable even sleeping in the living room to be with the cats. They do run around and it gets dusty but that’s also the nature of a big house and young animals. But the kittens are super easy to care for since they have a great water fountain and eat regular meals/no meds and they eat well. They have a few cat boxes so it’s all easy to manage. Absolutely love these little ones and miss them already :). Jacob was easy to communicate with and very nice so check in was simple. The house is easy to find and get to although I’d recommend getting a bus pass rather than walking into the main town. You can walk to a local grocery store, deli, pharmacy and a few restaurants though…it’s just not a lovely walk and also for variety I’d take the bus which is only about a 9 minute walk away. And buses are cheap-$1.75. If you get the chance definitely do this sit —especially if you have a car because getting around with a car would make this sit ideal. I had tough weather but when it’s nice a bike would be perfect too. Highly recommend!
You couldn't ask for two bigger sweethearts than Butters and Tigger. Butters is so laid back and chill and is shameless when it comes to belly rubs. Tigger, being still quite young, can be full of energy and will leap around the house following you, and then he'll happily snuggle on your lap and be so sweet. They bring you a lot of joy and laughs and are so easy to take care of. Jana and Ian were amazing. They were great communicators before and during the sit. They warmly welcomed me into their beautiful home and took time to show me around before the start of the sit. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to a park, grocery stores, and public transport. I would happily do this sit again and hope I have the opportunity to do so!
I had a nice time staying in Karen's home. She is very warm and welcoming and we were able to meet and walk her dog Ryker before the sit. This was an important step because Ryker is a rescue who does need some extra attention. He is very sweet and lovable but is still in training. A bit of focus and patience at the beginning helps him to feel calm and secure. The neighbourhood is really lovely with plenty of pretty walks by the canal to take Ryker for his walks. I would recommend this sit and would be happy to stay again. Thanks Karen and Ryker :)
Though brief, I had a really lovely time with Missy & Minnie at Maria's home in Newport. They are quiet, gentle souls and mostly just want some good scratches & cuddles (Minnie especially would like your lap very much please, thank you), and of course to have food and some treats when desired. Maria was so kind and so easy to chat with from the very beginning, and her grace & hospitality never faltered. Her home is clean, cozy, and she's done a really lovely job of decorating throughout. And don't let me fail to mention the wonderful, deep bathtub -- that was a godsend! I was genuinely set with everything I could possibly need. All is located in a quiet, easily accessible neighborhood, and is a very straightforward 30-minute walk (all downhill or flat) to the station or an abundance of shops. I'm not sure what more you could ask for! It was so lovely to meet you and the girls, Maria. I hope we can cross paths again someday! Thank you so much for everything!
I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this sit! Excellent communication. Everything was well organized and very easy to understand. Larry, the dog, is a very well trained sweetheart. Easy to care for. Plant care instructions were super clear. The home is a total delight. Spotless, everything you could need or want. Quiet and in a convenient area. Highly recommend. Thanks for the opportunity!
