It was the second time that Tara came to sit for Rafa. He gave her a very warm welcome, Tara sent us lots of updates and pictures and the house was immaculate on our return.

Siobhan

Siobhan and Paul returned for a second stay with Billy. They are great house sitters and lovely with Billy. We enjoyed the most relaxing time away knowing that Billy was safe and very happy with them. Siobhan and Paul kept us updated with lots of photos of Billy enjoying walks and lots of attention. We arrived back to a spotless house. Thank you so much Siobhan and Paul - I hope you come back again!

Caroline

This is the second time Peter & Caroline have looked after our house and garden They have done a wonderful job with all pots and plants looking better than when they were left They were also happy to do some errands and sent us video updates of the garden . They are pretty self sufficient but give us updated when needed and are always responsive to any communications. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to sit again for us and it’s great to get above leave your house confident that it will be well looked after

It's always nice to come home to a clean house and happy pets. Naobi is not talking to us, so I know she was happy in their care 😄 Thank you Edward & Kay, we hope we can have you back sometime to sit again.

Heidi was a wonderful house sitter. All arrangements were put in place with ease and Heidi arrived spot on time. She and the dogs were instantly bonded and all went very well. I cannot praise Heidi enough for her kindness and efficiency. I hope she will come back to visit her new chums.

Ellie

Ellie was wonderful! She took great care of Latu. She got him out for walks during the cooler part of the day and hung out with him in the yard. The house was in great shape when we got home and she was definitely self-sufficient. We had a little time to visit with her in person before and after our trip. She’s such a nice person.

Claire was fantastic again! She took great care of our beloved cat toffee and our flat. She’s always gone above and beyond to take care of everything and give us peace of mind while we’re away. We’d have Claire stay anytime!

Jennifer was a wonderful sitter - I came home to a very relaxed cat and felt totally at ease whilst I was away! Would have her back to sit Toulouse at any time.

Sophie & Rikki

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sophie, Rikki and their adorable little girl, Nellie into our home. They are the perfect housesitters, capable, caring, thorough, organised and just very likeable people. From the initial video call with Sophie, I got along really well with her and just knew that she would be brilliant. She identified that it must take a huge leap of faith to hand over your home and your pets to almost total strangers and go off on holiday for two weeks! Her empathy meant a lot to me. Nellie is a delightful, gentle and sweet little girl and she was very good around the dogs. I believe she and Darcy formed a strong bond. Communication with Sophie beforehand and during the sit was excellent. We had a brief in person hand over before we left and both Sophie and Rikki asked how much/how often we wanted updates, photos, etc. Sophie's updates were thorough and reassuring - detailing how the dogs were eating and sleeping etc., and in particular regarding Elvis' well being/appetite. It can be a challenge balancing the needs and differences between and older, infirm dog and a younger more playful one. Sophie and Rikki managed this well and with kindness (and patience!) towards Elvis. They were diligent about following the dogs' routine and even created their own more concise, easy to use version of my rambling notes on what happens when with each dog. I shall be keeping and using their version for future sitters. Needless to say, we arrived home to an immaculately clean and tidy home and got to spend a little time with Sophie and Rikki and Nellie before they headed off. Do not hesitate to take that leap of faith with this lovely family - they are the safest pair of hands you could find. I hope they come back to us one day but in the meantime we wish them well on their travels. Gary and Rebecca xxx

So thankful for Ben! Ben is a very pleasant, interesting and competent young man. He has looked after our fur babies and house perfectly. He was very flexible and stayed another day to help us out. He is helpful, reliable and a very aimable house guest. I can recommend Ben any time and would certainly ask him to come back on future occasions. Thank you Ben. We have enjoyed your stay with us!

Conor

Initially we had difficulty communicating with Conor mainly because he was away on holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Conor, having a walk with him, some dinner and introducing the pets. He was a pleasure to have at our home and would be welcome back!

Peter & Vivien

Peter and Vivien sat for us when we were away, we had taken our dogs with us so only the pigs, ducks and our tortoise for them to look after and that they did. All animals very happy well fed and watered. Thank you for leaving the house so clean and tidy, and also for watering the plants in the greenhouse, garden and house.

Beautiful home and the sweetest dog.

This sit was my favourite.  When we arrived we were greeted with warm easygoing welcome by Jill & Paul.  I have so much respect for these two kind and hard working people.   Jill made us a delicious chilli carne.  Paul took us around the 3 poochies favourite walk and explained to us about Molly, Ozzy & Georgie and there different personalities.   Our stay was very comfortable in their lovely home.   We just loved the area.  The scenery was beautiful and lots of lovely scenic walks.  Wolsingham is a nice friendly village and close to the stunning dales.  Our favourite trip was to Bernard Castle with quaint shops, cafes etc I picked up some great bargains.   However my most memorable part of the sit was the 3 black beauties.  Molly the leader of the pack was so caring.  She picked out that my husband was not very well and she kept going back to him to check he was ok and she loved cuddles.  Ozzy is such a sweetheart.  He just loves everyone and loves being with people.  And finally Georgie the youngest was such a character.  When we first met Georgie he was barking but when he gets to know you.  He lies on his back and loves his tummy rubbed.  He really is such a darling.  It was such a pleasure to see the 3 of them wait for me to get up in the morning with their happy wagging tails.  Best part of our sit was being with these 3 characters.  We would highly recommend this sit and we hope to sit again in the future.

Unfortunately Corona didn't let the housesitting happen. But David offered the refund our expenses and was really fair with everything. They are really nice people. Hopefully next time!

Sitting for Jason and Liberty was a breeze. Olive, while very vocal and a bit of a tough girl, is incredibly cute and playful. She's easy going and just wants to hang. Their house was in a great location with plenty to do nearby as well. Definitely recommend this sit!

I have loved my time at Kat and Preston's farm. The home is so beautiful and the property is a delight to explore. The dogs, horses, and cats all have distinct and fun personalities. The requirements to care for the animals are easy and manageable and Kat has been very quick to assist me with questions. I'd love to return!

We had a great time at Fliss and Matt’s flat! There’s lots of things to do in the area and it’s very easy to get to central London from Finsbury Park. The flat itself is so comfortable and cosy we found ourselves not wanting to leave most of the time! 

Karamo and Jaap Stam were the real stars of the sit ❤️ They’re both so sweet and affectionate with tons of personality, you’ll always be entertained with these two goofballs around. They’re very easy to take care of and lovely to be around, we’re missing them both so much already! If you have the chance to sit for Fliss and Matt I’d 100% recommend xx
