I loved this sit! Firstly Noodles was adorable! He's a gentle soul that likes company. He gives high fives for treats! Maria and Robert are generous and kind hosts. Maria picked me up from the station and then they both took me for a meal and a tour around the town centre. It was such a lovely start to the sit and very generous of them. Maria and Roberts home is immaculate and stylish. It was such a pleasure to stay in their home. Just 5 minutes from the beach and a short walk into the town centre. I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect! Communicating with Maria was easy, mainly via WhatsApp. They made everything very clear, in terms of feeding, Noodles medication and how to use their appliances. I'd return in a heartbeat! Thank you Maria, Robert and Noodles.
What a wonderful housesit! Jim and Deegan, and the house itself, made for a really comfortable and fun sit. Jim is organized and between emails he sent in advance and the printed materials waiting for me on the kitchen counter, I had everything I needed for a successful housesit. He's generous, kind and was readily available on the occasions I needed his help. Deegan is this very masculine, athletic dog who also happens to be a real snuggle bug! He opened his sweet heat to me so quickly, it was just beautiful! Used to running around in the woods, he wasn't interested in taking a walk on a leash, but we hung out on the back deck, on the couch in the living room, at my feet at the kitchen table, on the floor right next to me when we slept. I just fell in love the guy. The house is very comfortable, in a rural area just a few miles south of Blowing Rock. That was convenient for outings. There are excellent walks, as long and as steep as you want, just outside the front door, with rarely even a single car passing by. But most exceptional is the extraordinary, long-range view of the mountains from the back deck. A couple of days I was up early enough to see a great big orange ball of sun rise over the horizon. Just spectacular. Thank you, Jim, for a wonderful house sit. I look forward to visiting again.
Lucy and Chester are very well behaved, sweet dogs. It was a pleasure to keep them company while the family was away. The view from the backyard and house were lovely as well.
I had a wonderful experience at Cherise and Freds lovely home in Olympia. The plant and bird care was well explained and although detailed not at all arduous. The house is well located near shops and lovely walks and is very comfortable and well appointed. Couldnt have been better from my perspective.
