We love boarding our dog, Indy, at Rivermist Pet Lodge. She enjoys it there and the pickup/drop off service is great. Thanks Ashley! We really appreciate the photos they send while we're far away but see she's doing great and happy. She gets lots of play time with other dogs which helps with her ability to socialize when we get her back and go to the park.

Rivermist Pet lodge is the best! We booked a week stay for our 5 yorkies while we were away on the vacation. Our dogs really enjoyed their stay at Rivermist. We called the lodge while on vacation to see how the dogs were making out since this was their first time staying away from home. Rivermist gave us an update on the dogs and sent us pictures. We highly recommend Rivermist Pet Lodge for your pets needs.

Bella really enjoys going to daycare. She gets excited and heads straight to the car when she sees her lunch bag. She doesn’t hesitate to jump out the car when we arrive. I’ve had experiences where I had to trick her to get out the car but not at Rivermist. I get great reports that she does well with other dogs and people and they tell me all the time that they just love her. Plus I know that she had a great time because a good dog is a tired dog.

We never left our dogs in boarding before and had a terrible time making plans for them at home when we were out of town. Rivermist has exceeded our expectations in every way, and as made us feel incredibly comfortable leaving our fur-babies. They are well cared for, have fun and get exercise, and come back clean and happy every time. Our vacations become their vacations too! I could not recommend them more!

We love Rivermist Pet Lodge. We have had our Siberian Husky Ares board their 2X. The staff is professional and we appreciate that. One thing I will say is we booked an 8 day boarding reservation for him, and chose the Pawstivley Perfect package which is a little more expensive but we wanted to be updated with Ares day to day routine. Where there can be room for improvement is in the report cards. I love that they document his playtime and who he’s playing with, but I would also like to know if he’s eating and drinking ok and his all around behavior with staff and other animals. Secondly, I was told that pictures would be uploaded about every 3 days. We only received 2 pics but in both pics he was obviously having a ball! I just would’ve liked more pics. I know it’s probably difficult to get pics on all dogs that are boarding but it would be nice if you’re paying for premium package. Another suggestion is cameras in his kennel area. So we can check on him too and see how he’s doing. All in all we feel Rivermist takes exceptional care of our Ares and we are grateful for their services. We would recommend them to anyone who asks. They also have grooming services and daycare which are top notch! Thanks again for taking great care of our baby boy.

Excellent care and concern for our pit-mix. She smelled so nice after her bath. The staff are professional and very diligent. Rivermist is the best. They will be our go to kennel from now on.

Our sweet border collie, at 14, is slowing down. She doesn't take well to strangers, especially when it comes to bath time. However, I never worry when she receives her "spa treatment" at Rivermist. All staff treat her gently and patiently, like she was their pet. No rushing or pulling which can make her anxious. Can't say how much I appreciate that. They truly love animals.

I have been employing Fetch! for my pet care needs for well over a decade now, perhaps 15 years (it's been a long time!). Without exception, the sitter (Jenny) has always gone above and beyond to satisfy every need while I'm away from home, not only for my pets, but in ensuring my home is secure during and between visits and in collecting mail and informing me of anything else that requires my attention (water leaks, flooding, etc.). In addition, the sitter has been wonderful in administering medications properly when needed and in cleaning litter boxes, food dishes, and eating/waste areas as needed. The sitter has also made time on every visit to play with my cats, which I can tell from photos that they've really enjoyed! I greatly appreciate the photographs Jenny sends after each visit, but I have always had complete peace of mind when I'm away, due to the fantastic communication she provides. Lastly, the management and staff of Fetch! have provided excellent administrative support in adjusting scheduling changes to accommodate my schedule. In my opinion, the service provided by Fetch! is worth every penny!

Silver Spring Fetch is awesome! Their sitter Dawn became a part of our family. My cats love her!! I always felt better when I know that Dawn was watching over my fur babies and appreciate the great care that she gave them.

Fetch has been a godsend for us. You've looked after our cats for over a decade, and we are always able to enjoy our time away from them secure in the knowledge that they are being well taken care of. Their primary sitter, Stephenie, is particularly great and always sends us the best pictures of the cats!

We have been using FETCH for several years (about 6-7?). I cannot recommend this company more highly. Originally, FETCH came to our house in Kensington. When we moved further out in the county, FETCH accommodated us even though we were not in their usual walking area. Lorena has been walking our pup ever since, at least 3 years. Our pup loves Lorena who is completely focused on her care the entire time she is with her. Lorena knows exactly what our dog needs and she has special games she plays with her. (Hiding treats around the room when she leaves!). I attached one of Lorena's daily pictures of our dog. FETCH also accommodates our crazy, inconsistent work schedules. Over the years, their service has improved with digital walk diaries, online client portals and better customer service. We do not provide people with the keys to our home lightly. FETCH is licensed and bonded and they really check out their walkers thoroughly. We would not trust anyone else to care for our pup, especially now that she is aging. FETCH is a premium service, but the service and sense of trust we get from knowing they can be there for our dog is well worth it

I am new to Fetch! but have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them. Their online system makes scheduling visits, paying invoices, and receiving updates very easy and organized. Jenny, in particular, is such a pleasure to work with. She is professional, punctual, and thorough. Her post-visit updates with pictures and commentary provided much peace of mind while I was away. I have a blind, senior cat who is a little needier than the average cat, but I know he's in great hands with Jenny.

Absolutely love this service! Fetch is so reliable, I love that I’m always matched with the same sitter. Shout out to Connor. Connor comes to our home every time we’re out of town, our two cats love him, and, most importantly, I always feel safe having him in my home. Connor plays with my girls, takes pictures, and leaves a diary note in the app telling me about their day. I look forward to those updates when I’m abroad! I also have the peace of mind knowing that Connor is not an independent contractor, so if he’s ever sick or unavailable, Fetch will send a new sitter out to take care of my cats. All around 5 stars. Easy to use app and service.

Fetch has been an excellent service for us. They are friendly and really show care for pets. We appreciate that we've had the same wonderful dog walker for over 3 years now, and he's super sweet and kind to Roxy. We appreciate the flexibility of the daily schedule, and that Mike will often be able to accommodate extra or weekend walks when we ask. We have been impressed with the work Fetch has done to maintain service during the pandemic. Can't recommend highly enough!

Everyone from Prance Around Pet Services has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Their sitters have been so good with my animals. It's not the easiest thing to find someone willing to pet-sit a snake, but Prance Around has sitters familiar with any type of pet you may have. I wish we hadn't moved out of their service area, I have yet to find another pet sitter of their caliber. My animals and I will truly miss the team!

Prance Around Pet Services is the best! Whether they are visiting for daily walks or while you are on vacation, they are the best! My dog is blind, so it is always best for her to remain in my home instead of going into boarding. I can always count on Prance Around to show up and take good care of my girl. They write detailed notes about their visits and send the best photos of the time that they spend with my dog. It is very easy to schedule services on their website, and the owner responds quickly to texts and messages whether by phone or the chat feature on their website. Their prices are also very reasonable.

After searching and reviewing many companies that provided pet services, I came across Prance Around Pet Services. I don’t regret choosing them. The owner Joelyne was very professional and provided me with all the information and services I needed for my dog Dr. Strange. We are both very happy!

They are fantastic. Take great care of my fur baby. My apt is difficult to access isolated floors. No problem for Prance Around staff. My cat Charley's personality is, how did vet put it? Fractious with people and change. I just call her my baby Bi?&h! When I travel they send me photos and reports of my baby girl and it eases my heart knowing she well cared for in my absence. Cannot recommend them enough!!

Love, love LOVE Prance Around! They love what they do, and go the extra mile (pun intended!). They took care of our sweet "shorkie-mix" Lulu for nearly 14 years before she passed away, and gave us great advice on our new doggie, a VERY active rat-terrier bread. The owner and founder even came to our home to meet our new dog "Birdie," and recommend a harness that would help us contain our very loving but escape-artist dog. We know our pets are in the best of hands with Prance Around.

Caring and professional so far. I was a little apprehensive leaving my two new-ish kittens alone for the first time, and having a stranger come into my house, but I found these guys on a Google search they treated me and the cats very well. Being a local business with accountable owners and dedicated employees makes it worth the premium (but reasonable) price. Definitely plan on having them as my go-to cat service. Tried recommending them to a coworker today but turns out he already uses them!

Prance Around hires the best petsitters ever. No matter who they send to my home, they quickly bond with my two furkids and the daily email reports aren't just informational, they provide details that assure me the sitter really "gets" my pets. In fact, my favorite pictures of my beasts was taken by one of the petsitters. I've used this company for years and if you live in one of their service areas, you should use them as well.

Hello, I went out of town for 4 days mid January and Prance around pet services provided exceptional care for my cat Diamond. Everyday I received an email with pictures and details about how my cat was doing. She was well taken care of while I traveled. I will definitely book with Prance around Pet services again. I give them 5/5 star review.

Josephine and Chris are a godsend! We have a very energetic and dog reactive Pudelpointer and they have been taking great care of her off and on for the last 2 years. She gets plenty of love and has been able to socialize with many dogs which is helpful in her behavior training. Highly recommended service!

Chris and his team have been so wonderful! Chris is responsive, and works with my ever-changing schedule, and is great with my dog. I love that he uses the Pet Check technology - I get an email when they arrive, and again when they leave with a note about the walk, and sometimes a picture :) Paying invoices is smooth and easy. After using two other dog walkers, we've stuck with Chris for quite some time now and I highly recommend using him and his team.

Our dogs are French Bulldogs and they have special needs. Chris and team did a great job with them and the dogs loved them. I highly recommend Peticular Charm Pet Care to anyone who is looking for dog walking services in the DC area. Chris is always very responsive and helpful when I reach out to him via email about scheduling extra walks or cancelling walks. Our little dog adores his walker and looks forward to his daily afternoon walks. Our walker is diligent in checking in with us and texting us updates as needed. Lastly, the app used by Peticular Charm is very convenient--you can see when your dog was walked, what route they took, and what your dog, ahem, *did* on his walk. I really trust Peticular Charm to look after my dog and give him the walks he craves in the middle of the day.

Chris and his team of walkers are great. Mark has walked our dog for a number of months and we've been super happy (as has our puppy). Their use of the Pet Check system makes tracking and paying for service so easy and convenient. We have recommended them to several families already and will continue to do so.

I’m thrilled with the dog walking services of PETicular Charm! The owner, Chris, came by to meet our little guys, took notes on behavior and routine. Very good rates! An added plus is that Chris and his crew can board a dog at the last minute in case we have an emergency. I trust Chris and his employees explicitly with our dogs and our house! Chris is also a very well read, traveled, cultured musician with a fascinating life. My dogs are in interesting company - kinda jealous!

The team at Peticular Charm has been great! We use them for daily walks, doggy daycare once a week, and they also watched our 8 month old puppy when we were out of town for a week. They sent daily pictures and videos so that we knew our puppy was having a good time. Honestly, I think our puppy would rather live with his friends from Peticular Charm than us!

We met Chris while he was out walking one of his clients and enjoyed talking with him so much, we decided he would be our new dog walker. He is reliable and wonderful with our scaredy-pup. I've recommended him to our neighbors and friends, and we rest easy when we leave town knowing Chris is looking in on our pup.

I absolutely love this place! I’m so grateful for Ena and Lena and the care they provide. I met with Ena the day I needed to drop off my guinea pigs for the holidays and I could tell she is so passionate about the care she provides to animals. I received daily communication about my guinea pigs along with a daily picture while out of town. They’re also very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times; I didn’t have to miss work to drop off my furbabies and I was able to get them shortly after arriving back in town. This was my first time being away from them for an extended period of time and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for them. If you have small pets and you need a sitter, choose this place. You won’t be disappointed!

I brought my two guinea pigs (Baba Ghanoush and Razzle-Dazzle) to stay at Ensure for a week while I was out of town. I was immediately struck by how much the owner cares about small animals. I had been anxious since I had never boarded the guinea pigs before, but she set my mind at ease and told me exactly how she was going to take care of them while I was gone. The set up is extremely clean and colorful, with lots of safe places for guinea pigs to explore during floor time. They are given lots of attention, fresh hay, and juicy fruits and vegetables. In addition, I was sent detailed updates (with adorable photos) of my guinea pigs almost every day. They returned home happy and healthy. I would highly recommend Ensure PetCare and I will certainly be using them again!

When I went on vacation for a week, I was really stressed trying to figure out what to do with my cat and hoping for an alternative to boarding her somewhere that would have her in a cage all day. I found Lena's Ensured PetCare and it was perfect. She was quick to respond and very reasonably priced. My cat got to run around in a home rather than being confined in a kennel, and Lena sent me updates and several photos (two of which are attached) every other day. High quality care and definitely worth it. 10/10 would recommend!

I had a great experience boarding my guinea pigs here for two weeks! It was my first time boarding them, so I was pretty nervous, but Lena and Ena took amazing care of them. Took great care of our cat for the week we were gone! Sent lots of photos and detailed descriptions of how he was every day so we didn’t worry. The sitters are very friendly and accommodating, and you can tell they really care about your pets’ well being.

Ensure provided me an excellent service for a great price. While I was on my trip, I was assured that my fur baby was being taken care of. I was given daily updates that included pictures to show that my guinea pig was happy and safe. Drop off and pick up was also an easy process. They are easy to reach and flexible with pick-up and drop-off times. I am grateful I was able to find them before going overseas. Other businesses charged an excessive amount for similar services that weren't worth the price. I will be returning to this business again.

I left my cat Cool with Ensure for almost two weeks. Every day I received an update and photos. Cool roamed free and received lots of stimulation and attention, and even had supervised encounters with other small animals. It was very clear that Ensure is run by true animal lovers. They were flexible with drop off and pick up, responsive to all emails, and very pleasant to deal with. It was the first time I had left Cool with someone and it got to the point where I wondered if he would even want to come home after all of the love and excitement he had at Ensure.

Lena took great care of my cat for 6 weeks while I was traveling at the end of the year. I was nervous to be away for so long but Lena provided update often with videos, snaps and pictures that made me feel at ease. She gave me a great price and I would use her again anytime. My cat was very fond of her.

Highly recommend Ensure! Our rabbits got time to play in tunnels during the day, and they were given tons of attention. We also go daily pics and updates which was awesome. Also the space itself is decorated in the coolest way, it’s so cozy and comfy. I live an hour away, but it was well worth the drive and we’ll definitely be back!

Would highly recommend Fetch! for pet care services. My wife and I have been using them exclusively for a couple of years now to care for our two beloved cats whenever we're out of town. Jamie, the owner and Amy, our sitter are very responsive and trustworthy. Amy is always on time and does a great job caring for our cats as well as any household related tasks like mail, bringing in trash or recycling cans, or watering plants. After every visit we get a journal update that details what was done and includes pictures, usually of her playing with our cats, who clearly know her and enjoy her visits. Also the Fetch scheduling tool is very easy to use and their pricing is very reasonable. Definitely gives us peace of mind that our pets are well cared for when we travel!

A few years ago I changed jobs, shifting from a 100% remote position to a 100% in person position. I was so happy when I found Fetch to take care of my pup when I returned to the office. The owner, Jamie, worked to match me with a regular walker from his team, set a schedule that worked for me, and arranged a meet & greet beforehand so acclimate my pup. This was especially important since my dog has some anxiety issues, so meeting before and getting comfortable was critical. It gives me such peace of mind to know my dog is well taken care of when I can't be there during the day to take her on a mid-day walk. And I get notified with a journal entry and photo after each visit. Post-pandemic, I am in the office less, but I still rely on Fetch for the days I do have to go into the office 1-2 days a week. I would truly be at a loss without Fetch, Jamie, and our fantastic walker, Donna! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy service for your pet care needs.

Fetch! is so worth it. Excellent service with giving wet food, having playtime, and sending us text and photo updates during each visit. We learned a new word from them: ZOOMIES. Had no idea that the frantic excitement our cat has running around the room was called that. The intro meeting was very informative and also good for our cat to see us all together beforehand. Jamie, Maggie, and the gang are the cat's meow. They're solid, reliable, and ready to save the day in the world of pet pampering.

What a fantastic experience we had with Fetch! We had been using a different service which was fine until this past July when we used them for a short trip we took out of town (three days). They did a horrible job and actually injured one of our cats. Fetch spent a lot of time getting to know us, our cats, and our expectations while we were gone. They matched us with a very experienced dog/cat sitter who came over before we left to also get an idea of our expectations. She was so, so, so very good! She provided us with very regular updates, gave our cats the space that they needed, spent 30 minutes each day with them and while our cats generally do not like strangers, both of them warmed up to her by the end of the trip and let her pet them! Our boy cat who was injured by the previous cat sitter really opened up, and he now not only roams the house again (he would not leave our bedroom prior to Fetch's sitter coming over after the trauma of this summer), but he gained weight while we were gone! Our very senior cats (15 years' old) are again acting like kittens and were very happy with Fetch's service. So we are also very happy. We came home to a clean house and happy cats. I cannot recommend Fetch more highly...an absolute pleasure to work with them. We have found our pet sitter for all future trips. THANK YOU!!! A+++++++!

I was thrilled to have found this service thanks to Jamie and his team's incredible customer service and communication. I really appreciated Jamie calling me and walking me through the process as someone new, and I felt very assured after speaking with him. Lisa was fantastic as a cat sitter, and my cat really immediately took to her. Lisa also did an awesome job informing me of Ray daily, which was a tremendous relief after we had a medical scare only a few weeks prior to us leaving for vacation. I cannot recommend this enough!

This company is amazing. Our sitter did a pre-visit so we could get to know her. She was so personable and really took her time to understand all the little things we do for our animals. While we were gone she visited 2 times a day for 30 minutes. Each visit we got video and pictures. On the very last day we got a "EMAIL" from our cat... it was super funny and sweet. Its these little extras that make the whole experience so amazing. Its also very affordable. Finally we have peace of mind when we leave for trips.

I've used Fetch ever since I moved to the area 6 years ago. Now that I am moving out of the area, I realized how very lucky I was to find this business. When I moved here, Fetch was recommended to me, and I didn't even look at other companies. I've had 3 walkers over the years, and all of them were great and reliable. I love that Jamie (the owner) takes a huge interest in his clients and the welfare of the animals. My dog doesn't deal well with strangers, but he liked Jamie immediately. Any time my walker was sick or away, Jamie took over my dog's walks personally. Everyone at Fetch (Jamie, the walkers, and the scheduling staff) is very responsive and very flexible. This was important to me as my schedule can be crazy. I wish I could take Fetch with me! I've contacted multiple dog-walking businesses in my new area, and only one of them had availability. I didn't realize how lucky and fortunate I was with Fetch; I trust them with my animals and my house. I would recommend Fetch to anyone without reservations, no matter what critter needs care.

Maggie, our Fetch petsitter has been so wonderful to work with. She always takes excellent care of our kitty and sends us lots of pictures (some are of the cat playing or letting us know where the cat was sunning herself, but also photos of her food bowl when we wanted to know how well she was eating and stuff like that). We always miss our kitty when we're away, but we never worry about her health or safety because we know Maggie is taking care of her.

Fetch hires dependable sitters who have a great rapport with my cats. I've trusted them for many years because they always come through for any request. Edited 4/7/24: Both of my cats became terminally ill in 2023. I was hesitant to travel because of their condition, but needed to a few times. Jamie and Lauren both went out of their way to give my cats extra care and attention while I was away.

Absolutely amazing experience with paradise for pets! My dog boarded there over the 4th of July weekend and they took such good care of him. The staff made sure to have me come prior to the boarding date to temperament test him to ensure he can safely interact with other dogs. I didn’t expect such a thorough test as kennels I’ve experienced before did not spend hours to get to know your dog. This place is the phenomenal, they truly care about your pets and their wellbeing. Taking the time to ensure they can properly handle the dog in addition to observing behavior of the dog in group settings shows how above and beyond they are willing to go for potential new clients. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in their care, I cannot thank them enough!

This place was so amazing for housing my cat on the same day that I called. It was very difficult for me to find a cat boarding facility and luckily paradise 4 pets had space available and treated my cat very well while I was away. Their pricing is not bad at all and the staff are all so friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. Food and water was provided as well frequently depending on what your cat is used to at home. And for new customers, you get a free night if stay is longer than 4 nights! Will definitely be using paradise 4 pets again in the near future.

Been taking my pup here for the past 5 years, the staff is very friendly. The facility is clean and well kept up. My pup loves to be outside and is able to socialize with other dogs.

I have borded my cat here a few times and it's an excellent facility, with a great staff. It has a separate building just for Cats, that is clean, quiet, and very safe. The walkway to the building is fully enclosed with a Multiple Double Gate System, so no chance of an accidental escape. So even if a Cat were to get scared and get loose, it could get no further than the next locked gate. Since it's completely enclosed with fencing, nothing can climb or jump out. You have to close one gate, before you get to the next one, and a few more gates after that. Completely Enclosed from the Ground and Overhead. Very Safe and Secure. The Cat kennel has Cat Trees, Cat Tunnels, and lots of toys, and windows so your cat can look outside from their Cat tree. Great Facility and Highly Recommended!

Paradise for Pets always show care for my Domino and I am very satisfied with the care they give. I just left my pet with them for 2 weeks, and my baby was happy, clean and excited. The staff are wonderful, I am satisfied.

We have brought our dogs here for many years and we are always pleased with the experience. The dogs get plenty of outdoor time and the staff is always caring and meticulous in caring for our pets. We feel very fortunate to have Paradise for Pets accessible to us when we need to leave the area and we are grateful for their caring approach. We have never had a bad experience here and will never think twice about bringing our pets here in the future. Very happy to recommend!

I have only just started bringing my dog to Paradise For Pets but they have been so incredible. They are extremely affordable for an extremely reliable and quality service. They have remembered my dog each time I bring him, remembered all of his allergies and needs, made sure he's 100% comfortable, and always been friendly and responsive. The facility is stunning and kept up very well. My dog truly loves going there every time, he doesn't even look back while I'm leaving (and he's got decent separation anxiety). I cannot say enough good things about this place, your dog truly is in wonderful hands.

My Suki is a covid pup who was accustomed to having attention 24/7, so when my husband and I were both pulled back into the office I knew I had to find a reliable dog walker. I spent ages combing through all the various services and Rovers in my area, and I'm SO glad I finally found Baby Got Bark. Claire was incredibly responsive when I sent the initial interest email, and she sent our walker, Jules, out to meet us the next week. We knew it was true love when Jules walked in and said "That dog is a HYENA and hyenas are my favorite animal". Most people call her a tiger, but she is clearly a hyena. Jules has come to walk my pup three days a week for the past few months, and we couldn't be happier. Based on the photos Jules sends after every walk, it is very clear that Suki has a new best friend. Jules is quick to send an update after each walk, and is very responsive to communication in the Portal - even for unrelated tasks I forgot in the morning rush, like taking the blanket off the bed so Suki can't destroy it, as she is prone to do... Claire accepts my walk requests immediately, and the price is lower than anything else I was considering. We're so relieved to know Suki is taken care of and happy while we're at work. We love Baby Got Bark, and will be customers for many many years.

Claire and her team have been incredible! I hired Baby Got Bark (BGB) because I wanted a professional dog walker that knew dog behavior to walk my baby on a daily basis. A week after I hired BGB, I went out of the country for a vacation. I had a friend’s daughter stay with my dog during this time. However, I saw on my cameras how she was not taking care of my dog. I got in contact with Claire immediately and told her the situation. She responded to me immediately and was able to have one of her staff (Ashley) take over for overnight stays after I asked my friend’s daughter to leave my house. Claire was understanding and so responsive and immediately went over to my house the next day and changed over my apartment in preparation for Ashley to stay there (changing bed sheets, putting out fresh towels, etc.). Claire took my dog in a long walk and made sure she ate something! (My dog had not eaten in four days when my friend’s daughter as watching her.) When I returned home, I met Ashley, who is amazing! Super nice and kind! My dog LOVES Ashley and gets just as excited to see her as she is with me! Claire and her team at Baby Got Bark have been incredible! I highly recommend them to anyone that needs dog walking or overnight services. They are amazing!!!

We’ve been taking our dog to Dogtopia for daycare and grooming for the last 5 years. They have been wonderful with him from his early days as a “wild man” puppy. They provide a safe environment with a balanced schedule of active time and rest time. We’ve always appreciated the way the staff share information about how the day went. It’s so reassuring leaving him with such caring folks.

We have been going to dogtopia for a year now and it is such a great organization. The staff is friendly, accommodating and provides so much love to our boy. Our pup has boarded there and it was an excellent experience. He has a complicated diet and they follow the instructions carefully and he gets lots of play time, rest time and outside time. He goes weekly for daycare and on days when he doesn't get to go he pouts and is noticeably sad. He gets baths from Laurie and her team on the regular and overall loves dogtopia. I feel so lucky that we found them because they take such good care of our fluff boy! They are lower priced then competition around and it feels like a true small business where they want to provide good service. Highly recommend.

Eric and his team are FANTASTIC. This was the second time utilizing their dog sitting services while out of town, and we left them with their hands full with THREE dogs. I wholeheartedly recommend Eric and Walk Play Love. We hired Eric to come over and feed our outdoor cats on long weekends when we were away. He does this with great reliability and care, sending pictures of the cats as he feeds them and even bringing up our newspapers. But it doesn't stop there. Recently our old dog became very ill, and we couldn't find any vet to see him right away. Eric recommended an animal hospital in Rockville, and when I called they were able to see him that day. We recently got another dog who is very young and active. I have consulted Eric on a number of behavioral issues, and he has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We are going to hire him to help us to train our new dog as well. I am so happy that we found Walk Play Love. Look no further if you are looking for a group of people who really care about animals!

We've used Walk Play Love for several months to help with our puppy while we are at work. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Both the owner and our primary dog walker came over to meet our puppy in person before we began, which is typical of the personal touch you get with this local business as opposed to an app. They are flexible, punctual, dedicated, priced fairly, and clearly love animals. They take great pictures of our dog and assume an active role in his development, implementing whatever training and feeding regimen we are using. They earned our trust immediately. I'd give them five stars for customer service alone, but the bottom line is that they take fantastic care of our dog, which is what really matters.

Eric is a fantastic dog trainer. We had been looking, for about a year, for a trainer for our three year old--Wally. The other places we called were too expensive and and impersonal. Eric is the nicest, fun person and very professional. We look forward to his visits when he picks up Wally for private lessons. Wally has dropped his dog aggression and other difficult habits. Another one of Eric's co-workers now takes care of both dogs when we are out of town. I am greatly relieved we found this company. The way to our hearts are through our dogs.

We can't say how thrilled we are to have found Walk Play Love! Our dogs have only ever been cared for by one close friend who we trusted implicitly. We were really nervous to hire a dog-walker but as soon as Eric (WPL Founder) came to our house for a meet and greet, we felt at ease. It's easy to tell when someone is truly a dog person and more importantly, understands that pet parents are highly concerned with the care of their fur-children. Our walker, Joseph, is wonderful! He's great with our boys and they have really taken to him. We're so thankful that they are in good hands when we can't be there. Joseph is also great about sending us photos and updates after each walk. Our needs for walking are not on a set schedule. Eric is great about accommodating us and any special requests we might have for timing, etc. I can't say enough good things and highly recommend them!

I thought I could study dog training videos on youtube—and train my dog, Wally, myself. What a joke! I don’t have the time or patience. So I found someone who did. Eric at Walk, Play, Love has excellent training techniques and expertise. He is also kind and gentle with Wally. I highly recommend Eric. He is also friendly with my other family members. So when he comes over for training, Wally and everyone else is happy.

I could not be happier with Eric and his team. They are reliable, caring, and extra-attentive to my pets - my dog walker even brings decorative handmade collars for my dog and cat for each holiday! I get texts each day with photos taken during and after the walks, and when my dog is not feeling well they call and let me know. I LOVE Walk.Play.Love.!!

Update: we have been working from home full time since the pandemic hit and have still had WPL continue visits. Welcoming our first baby last year, WPL has been a real time savor for us during the day. They are reliable and affordable - and most of all our dog loves them! We have been using Eric and Walk.Play.Love services for about 2 years now with our beloved dog Lucy. The WPL team has always been extremely responsive and caring to our dog, which is most important to us. An added bonus is that they are very flexible with our schedule. It's always hard to leave your best friend at home for long periods of time, but it has been a whole lot easier knowing that the WPL team cares for our Lucy as much as we do.
