Cat Sitters in Ashton In Makerfield

Journey and Dave spent three weeks at our home taking care of our cats and we were so lucky to have them! From the very first interaction they were kind and considerate and put us totally at ease. They arrived the day before we left and we showed them around our house and holiday cottage and did a walkthrough of our routine. Journey took notes and was so attentive. They were accommodating and flexible with all of our requests. Throughout our trip Journey sent updates and lovely pictures and videos of the girls. We have two senior cats with some health issues and often their routine needs to be altered day to day depending on their behaviour. Journey was great at communicating any issues with me and incorporating my suggestions. Both my senior girls were happy and healthy when we returned. Journey and our kitten Smokey seemed to really bond. Journey spent time playing with Smokey to keep her entertained and drain her endless kitten energy. Our houses and garden were in perfect condition when we returned. Dave offered to help in the garden and we gave him free rein. No surprise that we came back to a garden that looked better than when we left! Dave made us an amazing beef stew for our return and it was so lovely not to have to cook dinner. From start to finish both Journey and Dave went above and beyond. There is a real sense of love and care to everything they do. I can’t express how fortunate we felt to be able to visit my family for three weeks knowing that our home and cats were in the best hands. I would absolutely recommend Journey and Dave and would love to have them back to sit for us again!

Alison and Anthony were such a pleasure to have in our home watching our cat. Great communication and we felt right away that our cat Grace was in good hands. We would be happy to have them return again to stay with Grace. A+

I can’t recommend Babs and Steve highly enough. They are such a lovely, kind couple and Babs’ communication was impeccable from the start of booking. I have two cats and they were perfectly looked after for the duration of my time away. I didn’t have one worry as Babs made me feel very at ease leaving not only my cats but my house too in her care. It was great to meet them both and I hope that I can call upon them again in the future. 5* for everything! Thank you Babs and Steve!

Mark and Joanne took wonderful care of our two cats Obi & Cosmo. Joanne is an amazing photographer and she regularly sent photos of the cats looking very relaxed and content along with updates on how they doing. They fed the birds for us, nothing seemed too much trouble. As for the house, it was gleaming when we returned. Even though we weren't arriving back until lunchtime and were happy for them to leave earlier they stayed until we got back home. They really are a lovely, relaxed couple and we would not hesitate in recommending them to sit for your pets, we hope they will be available to sit for us again.

Heather came on short notice and looked after both my dogs and my house, kept in touch the whole way through the stay with regular updates 5*

Syd has been a great sitter, came home to a very contented Izzy, a clean house and he had gone the extra mile and washed the bedding and towels that he had used during his stay. Syd sent us regular updates on Izzy and how she was behaving and he has obviusly got a wonderful rapport with cats. He also got some milk and bread for us oan his own volition so we could have a cuppa when we got back. Thanks Syd and hope you can sit for us next time we go away!

Tunde and Gabor were the absolute model guests and house-sitters. They were really open and friendly when we spoke to them both before they stayed. They were really communicative when at our house and sent timely updates to let us know how things were going. They left the house in perfect condition for when we returned and made sure to stock up some basic provisions for us as we were arriving quite late after a long few days of travelling. Really thoughtful, honest and friendly couple who we would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending to others.

Abbie was a delight to have as a housesitter. Communicated really well beforehand and when she arrived. I enjoyed the update photos and the pets (obvs) most importantly were well looked after. She left the house nice and clean when she left.

Helen was easy to get in touch with, was organised and came early for a handover which was great and provided updates over the weekend about our happy pets in their care. They are welcome back anytime!

Lisa, John and Grace were great sitters. The communication beforehand was excellent, we were reassured before they arrived that all would be well. Timing was spot on, they were well organised and sent us lots of photos of Bert and Banjo throughout their stay. It was obvious that they had researched the area and were prepared to take our two to lots of different dog-friendly places. The dogs were very calm on our return and the house was spotless! I would highly recommend Lottie. Reliable, kind and gave our dogs so much love. She really looked after them, especially as one wasn’t well. Lots of updates and videos which was reassuring and made us know Boris and Nala were being well looked after. House was left very tidy and bedsheets already washed by the time we got home. An excellent house sitter.
