Auggie and Kaiser are the sweetest boys! We had such a great time together. They’re very well behaved, love being with you and going out on walks. Lori, Buzz and Noni were super welcoming, their home is lovely and in such a great location. A 10 minute walk into town and to the lake which we walked to most days with the boys. Plenty of dog parks in the area too. You’ll be lucky to sit for these guys!

A wonderful house/pet sitting experience. Harley is the most delightful companion: he has such a lovely nature and is so obedient and responsive, which make walks with him off lead a joy. Jo and Dan are kind, considerate hosts that made me welcome and comfortable and were always contactable if support or information was needed. Their warm, spacious house is surrounded by lots of lovely walking paths and countryside and I really enjoyed exploring the meadows and woods with Harley each day. The time flew by and I was really sad leaving such a lovely dog that I loved as if he was my own and a house that felt like home. Thank you Jo and Dan for sharing this with me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Jenny’s self-contained flat and the gorgeous weather was a real bonus. I loved walking Jenna early morning and late evening along the lanes in complete silence - bliss! She is a joy to look after and loves her ball. The garden is fantastic and the sheep and hens easy to care for. The house and buildings are incredible but you have to not mind the inevitable “wildlife” that are part and parcel of country living! Thank you, Jenny, for the wine, the quinces and all the lovely damsons.

The host cancelled the sit the day before I was leaving. She returned with an invite the following day at 4:00 and asked if I could be there in the morning at 10 am. I already started making plans for the weekend but said yes. It's a 3.5 hr drive so they asked if I could let myself in. When I arrived they were still there so they gave me brief instructions on feeding the cat & geese but decided to take the dog with them.
Hebboo was a sweet cat and came & went thru the kitchen window. I let the geese out in the am and put them in at nite. They roam the yard so bring some old shoes as it is dirty. I searched for an outdoor broom but nada.
The house is in a nice walkable area close to gov't house, the castle, downtown and the coast.
Lovely vintage lighting in the game room but the house lacks proper reading lights. In the evening I had to clear boxes off a small settee so I could sit and then prop a chair for my laptop. I retired early to my bedroom where the tv worked.
Instructions for the heating, kitchen lighting, and heating in the tub bathroom (hidden between 2 bedrooms) should be written down. No written instructions were left & I had to phone her at nite to get the internet connection & password.
I like a tidy clean house and unfortunately this sit was not the case. For my comfort I unclogged the sink, vacuumed (after I cleaned it) and mop-washed the floors (dog hair). The closed-door rooms were overflowing with stuff, and the laundry room was stacked with dirty clothes.
They also arrived back early in the am the day before expected and I was rushed to leave.

Cayenne is a beautiful and sweet Malinois with a lot of energy. I would encourage a meet and greet to let Roxaane go through everything and someone who is comfortable with larger dogs. Roxanne's apartment is in a great location with a ton of amenities. She is fantastic with communication and made sure the stay was going well the entire time. I would be happy to care for Cayenne again!

Bodhi is a sweetheart and very low maintenance. I really enjoyed spending time with him.

Jackie has a lovely home in a great location. The nearby walk around Lake Waneka has some of the best views in Colorado.

Jackie is a great communicator and very responsive to texts.
