Lovely house to sit. Very quiet and easy to walk in the small forest adjacent the property. Bella has the loveliest of personalities and a pleasure to care for. The kittens are cute and Shani a gracious host who left good info and a few tasty treats to get us started.
This was our first sit through TH so we didn't know what to expect but it totally exceeded our expectations. Michelle and her family were super accommodating and helpful - they picked us up from the station and dropped us off at the end of our house sit, while making us feel comfortable in their home. Michelle was also very good at communicating with me from the start to finish and answered any questions I had. Poppy and Maddie are two lovely dogs that love to cuddle and play together when they get the zoomies and we really enjoyed walking them and snuggling with them on the sofa. Although it was a short sit, Michelle made sure we had everything we needed and left us some recommendations on what to see/do in the town, which is lovely btw! We'll be back :)
Well, we can't really add much to the previous sitter's feedback which accurately describes this wonderful couple, their home and their beautiful dogs as just a perfect mix for a perfect housesit. Sue and John are very warm, generous and loving. Their simply stunning dogs, Otto and Sid are a reflection of the loving care that Sue and John surround their home with and are a total dream to look after. We became quickly besotted with them and are properly missing their company. The free range chickens were also a joy to look after, were very easy and were completely hilarious, each with their own individual characters. We had a steady supply of eggs to enjoy. Thanks chooks! Its impossible to properly describe how beautiful John and Sue's garden and home is. Suffice to say that we had the most amazing holiday there and absolutely hope to return. There are a good choice of great pubs to walk cycle to, the neighbours and farmers were lovely to chant to, and with a completely comfy home to relax in, what's not to enjoy!. THANK YOU Sue and John!!
Bella is the sweetest, cutest cat! She's an absolute delight to take care of and has such a charming personality. The most dog-like cat I've ever known. Leslie's house is cozy, comfortable, and in a great location for exploring the Portland Metro area.
What a wonderful stay that was at the place of Rob and Nicole. We enjoyed the special place immensely. Although Houblon is huge, we were immediately at ease. What a sweet dog! Rosie was also immediately our best friend. Although we are not used to sleep with a dog on the bed, we enjoyed the coziness immensely. We didn't see the cats much, they preferred to sleep outside. Thank you for letting us stay in your gîte. What an unforgettable vacation in an exceptionally beautiful place!
We had a lovely stay in Cowbridge, the house an idiotic and the pet was very cute! We took the dogs to the beach (15 minutes away) most days. They were all very well-behaved around other dogs. Wendy and Leyden were very welcoming, we would highly recommend this sit. FYI don’t leave any food out (on counters or tables) as they love a cheeky snack. Thank you Wendy and Leyden for having us in your home!
