It was an absolute pleasure for us to look after Charles' beautiful girls, Molly, Millie, Babette and Puss-puss. Each one had their own unique personality and were a delight each day during our 11 night stay. Charles' lovely stone house (1768) was clean and welcoming, set in a small hamlet close to the lovely Bastide town of Eymet. We would highly recommend housesitting these beautiful fur babies and Charles hospitality was second to none. Hope to housesit again next time we're in France!
We’re very grateful to have been able to housesit for Alan and Desney! They have a lovely and cozy home with two fun and friendly dogs. Alan and Desney made us feel very welcome and made sure to communicate with us throughout our sit. Bella and Jed were both very loveable dogs that loved long walks and attention, but were equally happy to laze around all day. Our nearly two year old son had a blast with them too. I’ve always wanted to stay in a thatched roof cottage so was happy to finally have the opportunity in a home with so much history. The kitchen is a beautiful space! Thanks again for having us stay and being both welcoming and appreciative!
Hard to put to words how perfect of an experience I had living in Ron and Erin’s beautiful home - and loving on Gordon and Daisy. Not sure what I’ll miss the most, mornings on the back patio hanging with the kitties and chirping birds, or walking to an incredible lake surrounded by awesome nature trails. Plus, Acworth, GA is special, not only for its charm… but it’s community. Being there a month I met the most lovely people. Ron and Erin are wonderful people and I’m grateful to consider, my friends. I hope this review helps for future sitters but selfishly I hope they ask me the next time they need one 😻

I have just had the most wonderful house sit for Penny and Rus in Somerset. Beautiful home and family that wanted to ensure I was welcome and comfortable while I looked after Hector and Megan, nothing was a problem for them. Their babies loved their daily walks in the woods and Rus has them so well trained. Meggy is a pup full of life and Hector just delightful, patient and waits for his turn for affection. We were busy during the day and it was lovely as we all curled up on the lounge at night with the fire. They love their Netflix before bed 😁. Am so grateful for this three week stay, you get so quickly attached, a brief moment when you feel at home and then move on. Thank you guys. M
Lisa and Andrew were most hospitable..an easy introduction into their unique home in such a beautiful setting. Xav and Leezee were lovely characters ... Leezee being the most cuddlesome whilst xav was the one to gently wake me with a little paw tap ! The area is truly to be appreciated. We cannot fault Tracy on her care for our 3 cats. The time taken beforehand to ensure she had all the information and knew our cats behaviours, needs and preferences was meant so much and made us feel absolutely secure in leaving our furbabies. We do live slightly out of her range but the higher fee was well worth it for the care taken, communication and absolute professionalism. Would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs someone trustworthy to care for ther pets when away

The ONLY place I would ever leave my precious dogs. The owner looks after your pet as though it were one of hers. Should you, wish she will send you regular updates how your pet is doing. My puppy stayed there for a few days due to us having an unexpected hospital stay. This was our puppy's first time away from home and we were worried how she would settle......no need, she was fine thanks to the love and attention from Tracy the owner. I 100% recommend Orchard Pet Care.
Tracy has been walking Jake for around 3 years and what a find. She walks Jake with other dogs and they all thoroughly enjoy their playtime together. Very reliable and her quality of care towards her dogs is unquestionable. Couldn't ask for any better and we would be lost without her. Keep up the good work Tracy you are worth every penny 🐾👍

Very flexible service, I often swop and change my boys walks or cancel all together and it’s never a problem. Benji loves to walk with Tracey and his other doggy friends, he can sense her van if it’s anywhere on the block. This service has been a life saver for us and our dog.

Having never left our beloved cats with anyone but family while on holiday, I was really nervous to ask someone I didn’t know, to come in and see them while we went on a last minute break. Adrian really put my mind at ease from the first email contact we had, followed by two visits before we went away which were all informative and helpful. Adrian is a lovely chap and sent me a daily update, with photos, after every visit. Our three cats don’t seem to be stressed or upset on our return, with clean litter trays, fresh water and still with food. I would definitely use Adrian again. A super chap, who really does love pets.
Adrian is excellent! He lets our dog out 3 days a week for a walk and she loves it. The service is very professional. He did a Pre-visit assessment to go through everything we and he needed to know. After every visit he sends update’s with pictures so we can see her on her walk. Overall amazing service and lovely company!

My doggy Buddy has just returned from having his wonderful 2 week holiday staying with Adrian & Julie. Buddy has stayed there previously and Adrian and Julie are so very professional and caring. Buddy has been known to be a 'tricky' eater but they take this in their stride and he has the best time whilst in their care. I was regularly updated with photos and short messages which was fantastic and really appreciated. Adrian and Julie really are very special people and you really are leaving your pets in the best possible hands :)
We used We Love Pets Sleaford this summer for the first time. It was the first time we had left our rescue dog Mina with anyone else and we really wanted the personal touch. Adrian and Julie really welcomed Mina into their home and looked after her as one of their own, with love and care. They are clearly animal focussed and make sure everything is right before they take on your pet, the right kind of attention to detail that leaves you reassured they know what they’re doing and everything will be fine. Before we left her for her boarding, we were introduced to the home and set-up as well as their dog Bentley, this was really useful. We also used their dog walking services on a couple of occasions so that they could get to low each other sooner (and to get us out of a pickle). I couldn’t be happier with the service and have booked again for next year and will continue to use the dog walking services when it would be difficult for us to give Mina the outing she deserves. I thoroughly recommend We Love Pets Sleaford, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and truly pet loving!
What an absolute blessing to have found Adrian and Julie. We have a 6 year old cavapoo, Flo. She has just had a week stay with them, for the first time, and we could not have wished for more for her. Adrian was so thorough when I took Flo for a visit, there is no doubt that the care, comfort and well-being of your dog is at the forefront of the We Love Pets experience. This is our first main holiday leaving our two young bunnies home alone, in the exceptional heat of 22. Born aug 21 they have spent the autumn/winter indoors with us and are lovely company. In recent weeks, they went into their summer outdoor living. Adrian has been fantastic. He’s visited our two girls every day, freshening up food, litter and bedding and - most importantly - bonding with them. Our two rabbits have had constant access to their hutch & two runs and Adrian quickly got to know them. We had daily updates and photos to show how contented they were. Excellent and professional. I have had the plelasure to use We Love Pets services with Adrian conducting home visists for my two cats in December and during Christmas period 2023. Pre-visit assessment and care itself was well planned and executed with very good understanding of cats habits, behaviours and eating schedule. Updates with pictures were provided and agreed in advance to suit pet owners' needs and frequency. Overall great experience, superb service, well looked after pets, will definitely use again!
Unfailingly friendly, professional & reliable service from the get go. My 11 year old Sprollie really loves his walks with Adrian twice a day & comes back a very happy boy. Adrian has always been very personable, polite, knowledgeable & trustworthy. He is very patient with our dog & a great calming influence as Ben can be very anxious at times, with both strangers & coming across other dogs whilst out on walks. Despite Ben's nervousness around meeting new people, and especially men, he took to Adrian straight away - which really says it all. It's a great relief to know he is in such capable hands when out on his walks. Can't recommend Adrian & We Love Pets highly enough!
We have now used Woody's for our nervous cocker Honey several times and I can't recommend them enough. This is a family run business and they do an amazing job. We were nervous about putting Honey into kennels at first as she isn't overly keen on strangers, but seeing her bum wiggle when she knows where she's going shows us that we made the right choice in coming to Woody's. Picked up our two pups this morning after their first weeklong stay at Woody’s and could not be happier! I can tell they had a great time playing and running around as they are absolutely tuckered out and haven’t moved from the couch since we’ve got home! The dogs were handed to me clean, tails wagging, and had been given a bath the day before and all of their bedding had been washed. The staff are all lovely and welcoming, the kennels clean (we were invited for a tour before dropping them off), great with replying to emails/ phone calls, and easy to book in with. I was nervous leaving them as this was our first time having the dogs in a kennel but the staff put our minds at ease and they came highly recommended from my husband's family. We could not have asked for a better experience, and will definitely be bringing the pups back for future trips :) Thanks again!

We were really anxious leaving our precious fur babies for nearly two weeks. We visited several kennels and liked the feel of woodys immediately. We trialed a few days and they came back happy and well cared for so we booked them in for the longer duration. They came home happy, healthy and well cared for. Added bonus that they had a good wash and smelled amazing. Thank you, we will be back again and again.
Firstly thank you to Nicole and her lovely family for all the wonderful care with Milo. It was my first time using the kennels for Milo. But I can honestly say it was the best choice I have made. I was so worried leaving my 4yr old pooch who had never been in kennels before. I visited other kennels prior to seeing Woodys but Woodys was a clear winner. After over 2 weeks I collected my dog. Absolutely Barkers has looked after our dog since he was a puppy. We can’t fault the service at all. The facilities are excellent, Marie is friendly and knowledgeable and the dogs are treated like members of the family. The services are always evolving with Marie’s new ideas to make the best of everything for the dogs. We would thoroughly recommend it!!

An amazing team who go beyond looking after your dog. So knowledgeable in every aspect of dog care. Marie the founder is always surprising you with new equipment at day care to keep the dogs happy and stimulated, the latest being the soft play area. Judi and Ryan both such lovely doggy people who along with Marie are always ready to give advice on anything to do with your fur baby.
We always get out dog food from Marie excellent value and great quality easy to order and pick up or delivery. The subscription box marie does is amazing and my dog loves it and it's great value the toy and treats are high end .
My pup has been going here to daycare since post lockdown. He really enjoys it and comes back exhausted and happy after every session. It really is a second home for him and he greets Marie with joy every time. We also use the boarding service and we would not send him anywhere else. I know that Remy will be safe there and Marie will treat him like her own. It's a fantastic, safe and professional environment and I would recommend it to anyone.
My wife and I came to Absolutely Barkers last year with our new puppy, and I am so glad we did. From his first visit to this very day, the team have provided an excellent service. With us both working away from home alot, I know that my puppy will be cared for to the highest degree. The standard of daycare and boarding is fantastic, and could not fault it. Marie and her team are extremely passionate about what they do, combined with their vast knowledge of canine behaviour, health, etc... (and a massive bundle of love!), I would not hesitate for a second to recommend them to everyone.
I would thoroughly recommend Absolutely Barkers pet care and dog walks. We have used them since moving into the area in March 2021 and Marie and Judi have consistently exceeded our expectations. Whether it be day or night care or the house drop in service looking after our cats, or walking our dog, they always keep us up to date through personal messages or social media posts. If there are ever any issues we are kept informed in a timely manner and they are never short of advice in all matters relating to dog training/care. Our dog loves going to see all the other dogs, Marie and her family, she really enjoys all the fun activities and more recently the adventure walks. Absolutely Barkers facilities are beautifully maintained and kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, it’s like a home away from home.

My Archie dog loves going to see Marie & her mum, he gets so excited when we turn into the road & can't get out of the car quick enough. He has his first overnight in November & I don't have any worries at all about leaving him with Marie & family, I know that he will be fine & spoilt rotten just as he is at home. A great service & very friendly nothing is too much trouble for Marie. I would highly recommend Absolute Barkers to any doggie pawrents.

I would thoroughly recommend Paws & More. Having recently relocated to the local area and needing occasional support with my Ragdoll, Remy, I reached out to Paws & More for help. Mel was instantly responsive and the communication with her has been brilliant. As soon as I met her, and saw her interact with Remy I knew he, and my home would be treated with the utmost care and respect. Mel promptly returned my messages, and her flexibility allowed me to make last-minute adjustments to Remy's care schedule with ease when my commitments changed. It was such a relief to return home to a happy, contented cat. I will definitely be entrusting my cat with Mel again! Mel looked after our 3 kitties while we went away for a week and we were a little bit nervous initially about someone the cats didn’t know properly coming in and looking after them but we needn’t have been!!! We have an extrovert/people cat, a “will come to you for food” cat and an extremely skittish and scaredy cat and Mel couldn’t have done more to make all 3 of them individually feel safe and loved!! She even managed to get our scaredy cat out of hiding for treats AND ate them out of her palm!! We were honestly thrilled with the updates and pictures every day so that we could thoroughly enjoy our holiday. We’re so grateful to Mel for everything (including her patience with our nervous girl) this past week and will be recommending Paws and More to our friends and family. Thanks again! 😸🐾🐾🐾
Mel looked after our cats whilst we were on holiday. She went the extra mile and we had daily updates to let us know how they were. Honestly, I cannot speak highly enough of Mel and the Paws and More pet service. She looked after my cat Cleo wonderfully. I was sent photos and a video at every visit. It’s so lovely to know Cleo was comfortable at home without the stress of a cattery. Mel clearly loves animals and Cleo really bonded with her and looked so at ease. Highly recommended!

Hey folks, finally found a pet-sitting service that does what it promises. I've not dared go on holiday for many years (30!) because I love my babies and can't bear to leave them, for fear of . . . I don't know what i fear, just for unspecified fear, maybe you'll know what I mean. Well, I've taken the plunge after word-of-mouth and gone away leaving my dogs, cats and hugely demanding show koi in the care of Jo and Mel - i live on the border between Jo's Sleaford hub and her twin sister Mel's Branston-based hub, and both have looked after my babies. Jo and Mel look spookily similar so I can't tell which is which . . guess that helps my babies too. Thoroughly recommend. Nicholas John.

I've been using Safe and Hound for 7+ years. They've been fantastic caring for my dogs every time I've asked - on sociable walks, let-outs, feeding and dog sitting. Highly recommended.
Our pets are part of our families, and that's exactly how they're treated by the Safe and Hound team. My dog absolutely loves his days at 'doggy daycare', and is always excited when he sees the van pull up outside! He's been going to them for 18 months now, and I can't say enough nice things about them. The care is superb, he gets lots of exciting walks balanced by plenty of rest and gentle pottering around the garden (he's an old boy with multiple health issues, and his activities are tailored to his needs). Not to mention lots and lots of fuss and cuddles!

2 ½ years ago, I visited. I met there one of the managers with my then puppy Cockapoo. The kennels looked clean, the loose boxes where they exercised the dogs looked good, although they were no bigger than a small back garden, and about three times the size of their personal kennel and run, where they were placed 3 times per day, ½ hour per time. Their capacity of 62 dogs housed in two kennel blocks was the same capacity then as it is today. They told us before we went of how much we were charged for the coming stay via invoice via email. On the bottom of the invoice was their bank details, for ‘bank transfer or cash payments’ only. We paid during the dog’s stay, we brought our dogs to the gate, where we discussed any dietary or medicine or other requirements my dog may have and they took my dog and his bag of a few toys, treats I sent him with and his medicine. On my return, my dog was handed back to me at the gate by the staff, along with his bag of toys. I only had to do the bank transfer once. I did get one visit of two nights where the manager that took my dog admitted they ‘forgot’ to put on the medicine board my dog’s medicine, so he never received it, and had it all returned to me. Just glad it was only two nights and not a longer stay, I told the manager. So, fast forward 2 ½ years, when for some reason, which I can’t quite fathom, due to their capacity, which is still the same as 2 ½ years ago, they charged for VAT plus a yearly increase in fees. Also, they had decided to start charging deposits on booking due to, they said, too many people cancelling on short notice. I never did. This meant I had to do the fiddly bank transfer twice now. On my first visit since the VAT increase, I wrote emails just prior to boarding, telling them how much I had paid, and to confirm my email. All I got was a short thrift reply from one of the staff, not telling me if I had paid enough or not on the new prices. This meant that I had to board my dog not knowing how much extra from the original invoice given to me before this increase, only a ‘guide’ as to how much we were being charged from a price list they sent. I am not accustomed to accepting a service without knowing how much its going to cost in full via an invoice. As I had nowhere else for him to go at such short notice, then I had to board him there. I did question as to why I received an invoice at the end of my dog’s stay, when I had sent in emails, trying to get out of them the total cost of the stay prior to boarding. I was told that one of the key managers that does the emails, and invoicing was in hospital. Now, this is business, and from my point of view, business should not be mixed with any other aspect of our lives, including illness. Due to this manager being ill, emails were not getting replied to properly, and when I did not reciprocate with sympathy about this manager being ill, the other manager, who tried to give the excuse of them ‘only working with the dogs’ became irate. My replies in a calm voice were, you haven’t got anyone else trained such as yourself to do invoicing, no one else to check emails on your staff? You were able to invoice me at the end of my dog’s stay, therefore you should have been able to invoice me before he boarded. They thought me rude when I said this and that if they only had one staff to look after the dogs and the manager, then they should be taking in less dogs, or making cancellations, not trying to make an excuse to not provide an invoice or give a sub-standard service. Due to this now sub-standard service, I left and will not be returning.
CHECK AS THEY ARE BREED BIASED! Called for last min availability for our 2 much loved dogs. Was booked in but then told to hang on then advised they wouldn’t take our dogs as they are Italian Mastiffs? no explanation as to why but when pushed said the owner of the kennels didn’t like the breed and had bad experiences in the past? Surely you should list the dogs you will and won’t kennel to save everyone’s time and avoid causing offence? Perhaps advise your staff to ask the breed before you go any further! We also have a Maltese terrier and a Boston terrier but will be sure to not waste your time asking in the future!

Our dog Beau absolutely loves coming here. As soon as he's out of the car, his tail doesn't stop wagging, and he's off with the staff, without so much as even a glance back at us!!!! It's so reassuring to know he's happy here while we're away, and allows us to relax as well. Thanks to all here.
Use Khinjan on a fairly regular basis for my cat who is very anti social. Never had any issues , always do their best to accommodate. Very friendly and professional, would highly recommend
Best Kennels in the area. The owners and kennel hands cannot do enough to help you and care for your pet. I have been using them since they took over from a previous owner and they are second to none. Would and do recommend them every time. Really deserve 10 stars. My dog loves going there and doesn't even look back when handed over. It makes every stay in the kennels a relaxing time for me because he us so happy when I go to collect him.

My dog has been boarded and groomed here for many years now. She doesn't take to a lot of people but loves Sarah and Paul. She actually gets excited when she realises I'm getting her things ready to go there. I can always leave her here with confidence that she'll be well cared for.
Really friendly people who obviously love dogs and look after them extremely well. Although our 2 year old Labradoodle was full of excitement when he saw that we had come to pick him up, he spent the rest of the day and evening fast asleep, so he must have had a good and very active time.
Excellent kennels. Sara and Paul are fantastic people very caring as are the rest of the staff. I would call it a first class hotel for your pampered pets. Highly recommended it.
Would never use any other kennels, have been taking my dogs for years. Stella and Dave are brilliant and look after all of my dogs really well. My 3 dogs are always happy to go
Was our first time using a kennel as we’d been let down last minute and were anxious about it. Felt very reassured as the owner really knows her stuff. Let’s the dogs off lead when we collect them as she knows putting them straight on a lead would get them too excited. It’s not much to look at and a bit whiffy (to be expected) but it was perfect for the dogs who got lots of cuddles and play. Would be happy to use again.
Our Summer stayed with this lovely couple that run this hotel for dogs... Our Summer has a lovely Halloween Smile that can strike fear into any person that has never handled a nervous dog before. We were nervous, because our Summer is a nervous dog particularly around men. We were told, exactly what we needed to hear on arrival to pick her up, no fibbing no lieing, we know she is in safe hands and we will be rebooking with this kennal again. Thank you all.

Spoke to Dave to arrange first visit, met Stella on arrival. My dog is very nervous and I was very apprehensive at the thought of leaving him… however the moment he met Stella I was reassure as he took to her straight away. Really happy with the service provided. I will definitely use lodge kennels again.

Stella and David at The Lodge look after our little Jazzy (Toy Jack Russell) so well. He’s such a particular little dog and has his own little ways which they always take into account. Have always found them both so kind and caring and they always make him feel safe and calm and he loves going now he’s got over his initial separation anxiety. He gets taken into the paddock separately to play and roam as they know he’s not keen on other dogs. He gets his claws trimmed and his own little end suite in the kennel as requested. The contact is always good when if we text or call to check on him, it’s always a lovely welcome and the radio really calms him down too. We have always been able to take him down with his own blankets etc and settle him in too rather than just dropping him off at reception. It’s clean and safe and you can really see how much they care about the dogs, as well as being so reasonably priced. The times for collection and drop off are really convenient and always some flexibility if your plans change. Thank you Stella and David, we wouldn’t let Jazz stay anywhere else now 🙏🥰 xx

Used the kennels for the first time, for 3 days for my two dogs. Have booked again, for a week's stay, end of March. Stella and David really care for their furry guests, which puts you at ease. Lovely people, who are happy to talk to you during their guests' stay, to make sure everyone is happy. My two were all over Stella, when I picked them up, which tells me everything.
Absolutely love this kennels for my 5 Labradors. When we relocated I left my babies with these lovely people at Lodge for 6 weeks and when we collected them you could see how much they adored Stella and Dave. They looked amazing, they were happy and full of life!! We have used The Lodge every time we go away now and the poochies run in with no problems. Fantastic kennels ❤️
The jewel in the crown of doggy day care. Fantastic place and people! To me the most important thing is trust and I certainly have it with this lady. She is wonderful with the dogs and is knowledgeable and caring. You are lucky if you've got your pride and joy here!!!
