We had a wonderful time sitting for Krissi and Chris and caring for Molly, Miss Buttons, Belle and CJ. They are all lovely affectionate dogs. We were made to feel very welcome and felt very comfortable in a beautiful home in a lovely village. It was a privilege to sit for such a lovely, warm and friendly couple.
We had such a wonderful experience caring for Luna and Sandy in Brussels. Luna followed us all over the house and clearly loves being around people. She is always ready for a cuddle or a head scratch. Sandy was quite timid at first but really warmed up to us throughout the sit. She is an adventurer and loves exploring the walls and trees around the garden. Both kitties are absolute sweethearts and a joy to be around. Katie and Karim provided lots of information prior to the sit and were quick to respond with any questions we had. They gave us such a warm welcome the night we arrived and are both easy-going with a brilliant sense of humor. Shayne and I both felt very comfortable in their home and in their neighborhood. Many tram lines stop a short distance from their house which made it easy to get to the city center, though we also enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and parks near their place and found ourselves spending a lot of time around there. We both absolutely recommend this house/pet sit and hope to be taking care of Luna and Sandy in the future. Thank you Katie and Karim!
Tricia communicated well with us throughout our stay and was very accomodating to our needs. Her home was cosy and the bed and bedroom was very comfortable. The locals are helpful and friendly and the bus service reliable.
Looking after Lucy and staying with Janet was an absolute joy! I highly recommend this dog sit to everyone. Janet is exceptionally kind and generous. My traveling circumstances changed shortly before the sit, and Janet was gracious to allow me to come early. We discovered our mutual passion for bicycling, and Janet was a wealth of information who was happy to share her passion with me. She was also very kind to assist me with a couple errands and take me to the train station on the last day of my stay. Janet is a gem of a person who genuinely loves helping and getting to know travelers; I feel lucky to have spent time with her and Lucy. Lucy is a very sweet dog; she absolutely loves all people and dogs. They live close to a dog park, which is a pleasant place to take Lucy to allow her to socialize and get out her energy. Janet’s home is also very close to downtown Ballard and close to the Burke-Gilman cycling trail, so you really do not need a car for this sit and I would recommend bringing or renting a bike to use to explore. I’m so grateful I was able to meet Janet and spend time with Lucy! Thank you again, Janet, for everything!
