This sit was wonderful! Gerry and Barbara are so warm and welcoming, meeting them was a joy. The home is beautiful and spacious, it’s in a lovely neighborhood, and it has an outstanding back patio with a Mountain View. The home had everything I needed and more. There’s “hiking” paths in the middle of the neighborhood, and the view of the foothills is amazing. They are right there!! Taking Hank on his walks everyday was awesome. Hank is the sweetest, he will love to give you kisses and snuggles! He is very chill and well behaved, and he loves playtime! I had a lot of fun. Would definitely sit for Gerry and Barbara again.
Dana and Jeff have a beautiful, cozy home on 11 acres of hiking and skiing land in Clark with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. The house is off-grid and has all the appliances a house sitter could want. Although our sit was in the “mud season” and technically spring, there was snow everywhere, which we loved. Dana and Jeff were so generous and accommodating toward us. They made their car available and allowed us to use their winter gear and winter toys during our stay. This really allowed us to explore the mountains around the house and further afield. Most important in the household is Boo. Aka, Boo Boo, Boo Jangles and Boo Berry…. Boo is a 7-year-old Labrador who just adores the snow and rolling around in it. He loves the trails in the mountains behind the house which he explored freely as he can do so off-leash. Boo has an excellent recall which makes his walks in the mountains or the neighborhood so easy. He also is so chilled in the car, so adventuring out with him is such a joy. There are 3 dog parks in the Steamboat Springs area. We took him to one of these where he had so much fun. He’s excellent with other dogs and is a “no mess no fuss” sort of boy. Boo likes to sleep at the bottom of your bed or on his special place in the closet. Although our sit was only one week we really enjoyed our stay and looking after Boo. I miss him so much. We would highly recommend this sit to any house sitter. A special thanks to Dana's friend Shelly. It was lovely meeting you. Thank you for all your help. To Dana – thank you for making our time in Clark so memorable and for all the lovely recommendations. You guys are amazing.
Please see later review, this was the first 5 of 10 days we house sat for Fields, Tina and Elvis. 5 stars :)
I had a great time looking after Suzanne's pets, they were adorable. Hemi is one of the sweetest, most friendly dogs that I have ever met. Although she is 13, you would never guess by her playfulness. Banana is quite the funny cat, she runs everywhere and is just the cutest most talkative cat.
Nero is a very cool cat and easy to look after, especially with Cindy's clear instructions. Cindy has a beautiful apartment in which we were very comfortable and she was also kind enough to greet us with a bottle of Belgian beer and chocolate! We would definitely recommend this sit!
We enjoyed your cozy home and the facilities afforded us in Chilliwack. Your dog Jasper was a bit of a challenge to us as he is quite a large dog and we are an older couple but he was very obedient and a lovely sweet loving animal. Nox the the house cat was not seen as often as Jasper and tended to keep to himself and usually seen only during feeding times. My wife Elayne broke her leg while she was out for an early morning walk with Jasper but Jasper was not responsible for this in any way. This event made the remainder of the sit somewhat of a challenge until you returned from your holiday but this cannot be blamed on the animals. Your home was cozy and was easy to keep clean and tidy. Thanks so much for the opportunity. Ken & Elayne
