Adele is amazing! I arrived in the evening to a warm face, warm house and even some holiday decorations that she put up as I was all by myself for the Christmas Holidays. She instantly made me at ease and showed me around, giving me all the job tasks and even gifting me a bottle of wine. (thank you) The two cats in Iggy and Isla are super sweet and low maintenance. Isla is very loving, but also likes her space. Iggy on the other hand just loves the attention. He would often follow me around in a cute way, and rest on my lap purring when I read or watched television. The house was very bright in the day, clean and just a warm place you can feel at home. The communication was flawless from Adele despite her being all the way in Morocco. Her book collection is pretty awesome also! I am so thankful for this sit, to spend time with these lovely cats and to meet Adele. Anybody who gets the opportunity is very blessed. Highly recommend!
Staying at Francis's with Misha was such a joy for my partner and I. Francis is laid back and welcoming. The communication with him was clear and smooth. We felt truly at home in his lovely space. Our daily walks on the beach with Misha were beautiful. We became rather found of Misha during our stay. He is very cuddly and became like our shadow in the house. Portobello is such a cute little town just a stones throw from Edinburgh. The house is perfectly located within walking distance of everything you need in Porty. We loved our time with Misha!
I had a great, cosy couple of days looking after Ralph and JC in London! They are super sweet boys - JC was a little nervous at first, but soon came round, and Ralph is curious and chatty. Florence left great instructions for their care and also made sure everything was super comfy for me, so when I wasn't exploring my old haunts in east London, I was curled up in front of the Christmas tree watching Netflix - exactly what I needed after all my walking. Florence's house is in a quiet street (I slept amazingly!), really close to the tube with quick links into central London, and very close to some convenience stores for anything you might need. If you get the chance to look after these lovely boys, I absolutely recommend it!!
We had a nice time sitting Freddie and Hendrix. And Martin was responsive, hospitable and helpful.
Lisa and Mark's home is a wonderful place to stay at! I definitely keep memories of her dog, Bella, the cat, poppy and Romeo their guinea pig and remember them with much appreciation :) Lisa's family was extremely kind, communicative and friendly. Instructions were clear. They were very generous as well and I'm beyond grateful to have had the chance to meet them Bella is a very lovely dog and does require certain attention and understanding to make sure she feels comfortable with you and not anxious, she's a good walker if you know how to lead her. Thank you guys so much!
