I had an excellent experience in Lucca with Celine and her wonderful, sweet dog Pato. The house is located in a very tranquil, natural area a few kilometers outside of town. The sound of the nearby stream is always present, something I found quite calming. The house has a large backyard and a swimming pool, both perfect for reading and contemplating. Pato is, without a doubt, the sweetest dog you could ever meet. He doesn't have a bad bone in his body and he gets along with all creatures. He is getting on in years and has some health problems but he is still a very happy dog that loves his walks and that gets incredibly excited around mealtime. I cherished my morning walks with Pato. He doesn't require a leash and he never strays too far from your side. I also loved sitting on the couch with Pato at my side each evening. Celine is a very loving dog owner and would do anything for her sweet boy Pato. She is very communicative and is always available to answer any questions about Pato. You can tell that Pato is her world and she loves him very much. I will definitely hold this experience in my heart and wish both Pato and Celine the best.
Dusty dog and Dex the cat were super company at Adriana's lovely Devon home! Both pets were gentle and very much fun so we we played a lot - catch, fetch and with any thing that moved - plus lots of cuddles and stroking. Watching Dusty and Dex play together was also a joy since usually dogs and cats politely tolerate one another , but these two thoroughly enjoyed each others company and in playful moods chased and tumbled to their heart's content. Robert and I were very comfortable in the cottage which is cosy as well as spacious by design, also very full of natural light. Whilst Dex enjoyed the garden when we went out, Dusty came everywhere with us whether we drove or walked. In the car she was a model of behaviour and her company was a joy on our rambles and beach walks. Dusty is polite and gentle with other dogs and simply ignored the less friendly ones! There is everything you need at Adriana's home for comfort but my favourite was the gorgeous Aga in the kitchen which also has a table for breakfast and a great coffee machine! However, on sunny days I always had brunch outside after taking Dusty on the extremely convenient walk to the park behind the house to the right of the beautifully kept cricket ground which was another bonus being in full view! Sidmouth is a lovely town, very attractive with a great seafront - however there were lots of other beaches and coastal paths within a half hour radius of Sidbury - these included East Branscombe, Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis and to the West, Budleigh Salterton, Exmouth and Dawlish. Lyme Regis was very exciting due to the famous amonyte fossil imprints which abound on big stones and boulders. We also walked through beautiful woods to Blackberry Camp an iron age camp only a few miles from Sidbury. Of course Exeter is not too far away for anyone looking for entertainment, however we were too busy with natural beauty all along the coast! We heartily recommend Adriana's sit home and the very lovable pets and we would love to return again sometime - I'm missing Dusty and Dexter!
House/pet sitting for Dre & Norm was super NICE!! Their 3 fur babies, Jingle Bells, Piper and Isis (Egyptian Goddess) was a treat. Jingle Bells, an outdoor by day and indoor by night was super shy/reserves in the beginning, but gradually open up closer toward the end of the sittings and became my little buddy that came to visit inside the cottage several times and sat on my lap which Dre told me, Jingle Bells rarely likes to do. :0) Piper (indoor cat), super friendly from the get go, welcomes me with open paws and loves her kibbles & bits down to the past morsels. Loves to be pet and purrrrs while eating and being pet at the same time. Isis (indoor cat), the Egyptian Goddess is super chill and graceful in every way. She likes her morning, noon and night pettings/massages before every meals. As time passes, the Egyptian Goddess Isis welcomes my presence more and more. As the pet sittings get closer to the end, all 3 adorable cats seem to know and opened up much more and I must confess, taking care of cats are very different and unique comparing to dogs. They are like Yin and Yang, a philosophical concept of dualism, complementary rather than opposing. A FUN sitting with 3 adorable cats in a CHARMING cottage that is beautifully decorated in a style of Dre & Norm, and their hospitality matches that of their home/cottage, warm and welcoming. HIGHLY recommended, and if one snoozes, one loses. Glad I was selected to house/pet sit for the 3 COOL cats.
Great sit with Sturgil, Loki, and Lyra! Rachel explained everything well and Rachel and Andrew’s place was beautiful and cozy. Pets are very sweet, and the house is close to the airport and in a cute neighborhood with a park nearby. Thank you so much again!
We had a lovely time at Sharon's home looking after Rupert and Rosie. The countryside is simply stunning in this rural area. There is fantastic view from the garden and from the nearby walks. Ruppert is older and calmer than Rosie who is full of beans and wants a lot of attention although they both sleep calmly all night outside the bedroom. Rupert is able to get under the gate on the driveway very quickly so we were caught out and even in the garden with the small garden gate closed he somehow manages to get out under a fence and we weren't aware of this and found him out again. There are long leads to put him on so we then did this even if it was only while we got our walking boots on! The cottage is very quaint and pretty with everything you need we visited Tenbury on Wells and Ludlow and went to a local farm shop for lunch on our last day. There are no shops or facilities nearby so a car is essential. Lynda and Frank
Heather is so nice and welcoming, she went out of her way to bring me the keys before I arrived and I could tell she wanted to make sure I enjoyed my stay with Raph. She is easy to communicate with and just a genuinely nice human being. Her place was lovely, clean and comfortable with great access to the tube to get around London when I needed to. Raphy is the most gorgeous, cuddly, affectionate little boy. I don’t like picking favourites but he really is my favourite. I had a wonderful time with him whilst I was housesitting for Heather, I would definitely come back.

Cindy is wonderful! She has been helping me with my dogs for over 20 years. Currently I have a very fearful female rescue who I would never take to anyone but Cindy. She comes out looking great and happy with her clip. Cindy is a true dog person and can handle any aspect of dog management - walking, boarding, grooming and overall loves what she does.
First time at Cindy’s with my toy Aussie and she did an amazing job. Not only was she able to get me in the following week, which was perfect because he was overdue for a groom. My dog has been going to Cindy for over 5 years. He looks forward to going on his daycare days. Her yard is large and spacious with fun things for the dogs to play with. Her basement is air conditioned and has several crates and beds where the dogs can take a break from the fun outside. She also does grooming, which my dog typically hated before going to Cindy. She always shares photos of their fun and even gives them presents at Christmas (owners included). Highly recommend her daycare to anyone looking.
Cindy has the perfect environment for dogs to safely play with a large fenced in yard and plenty of shade, she is an experienced groomer and I will not bring my Pomeranian anywhere else! My dog comes home happy and smelling good for weeks after being pampered! Highly recommend!

Free Dog is honestly the best. I am not typically the kind of person to leave a review one way or another, but I feel that this place genuinely deserves it. I have used them a few times now and they are consistently amazing. The staff there are so friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding. The facility is clean and has a very cozy feel to it, which I truly believe makes my dogs feel more at ease when I board them. They are extremely thorough in getting to know your dog's from everything to health issues to temperament to how they like to play best. I feel that my dogs are safe and very well taken care of while they are there. I had tried countless places before finding free dog and now I will never go anywhere else. I even changed the dates of a planned vacation once because they did not have availability. I love getting to see photos of my dogs everyday and I can tell from the photos and from their behavior when I pick them up that my dogs are happy here. I would also like to add that I highly recommend Free Dog to anyone with dogs that need one on one play instead of group play. Other places I have boarded my dogs have very clearly not given them any real play time. At Free Dog they will actually play with your dogs and your dogs will go home tired but in the best way!
FreeDog is our favorite groomer! I have a 100 lb Doddle who is very spirited and nervous. He starts wagging his tail as soon as we pull in. Once we get inside and he sees Emily he can barely contain himself! He always comes back to us looking and smelling great and most importantly, very happy! Emily is the best!
This was our first time using Free Dog for boarding our two dogs, Guinness & Bailey. We were so nervous leaving them due to Guinness' cancerous tumor & seizures. The loving care of our pups & your compassionate, dedicated staff was incredible. And the facility was perfect. You helped us relax more knowing both were in such special place & you can tell they really loved their stay with you. You helped our Guinness enjoy his last boarding experience. We will definitely bring Bailey again. What a blessing it was to hear about Free Dog!

We’ve used Free Dog for boarding twice, and they were absolutely amazing both times! I love that you can text with the staff to check on your dogs, and there is someone in the building 24/7, so your pups are never alone over night. They even fed my dog chicken and rice and transitioned her back to her regular diet when she was recovering from an upset tummy. I highly recommend Free Dog. Our dogs will be thrilled to return for their next stay this fall!

I would give 5 starts except there’s a set schedule and limited days to use daycare. This is understandable due to small groups needed to match dogs with different temperaments. Cindy puts a lot of care into matching each group member. It’s not a negative unless you need certain days or FT daycare. Highly recommend!!
The Whisker Haven is such a blessing! It is because of them that we were able to enjoy our vacation time knowing that our baby Horacio was in the best hands ever. Trina is the sweetest person I have met, she is so caring and pays attention to everything detail about your Kitty and its needs. Our cat stayed over for 2 weeks and during this time Trina kept us updated on his stay and sent us super cute pictures that made our day brighter every time. We will for sure come back to The Whisker Haven for future stays because of the peace of mind we felt and their level of professionalism. When we picked up our kitty, Trina surprised us with a bag of kitty toys that our Horacio loved so much and enjoyed upon returning home. He was so well cared, we are so thankful that The Whisker Haven exists. Best place ever!
I recently boarded my cats at Whisker Haven for 5 nights, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the owner was incredibly pleasant and made the process smooth and stress-free. I loved receiving picture updates. She was very accommodating to their needs and made them feel as comfortable as possible. The facility itself is immaculate and exudes calm vibes, making it a perfect environment for cats. It’s clear that the well-being of the animals is a top priority here. As a nice touch, we received a goodie bag at the end of our stay, which was a thoughtful surprise! Whisker Haven is an amazing boarding facility just for cats! Our 2 cats spent almost 2 weeks there and I don't think they wanted to come home. The cat condos are all unique and thoughtfully designed for all types of cats. We loved the daily updates and pictures. Trina did such a great job making sure she knew the personalities of the cats and what would be best for each. We will definitely use Whisker Haven again if the need arises.
I cannot thank Trina enough for taking such excellent care of Cleo. We traveled about an hour from MA as she was recommended to us by a family member. We were nervous to board her, as it was our first time, but Trina offered so much reassurance by sending daily photos/updates to us. Clearly Cleo loved the playroom/watching birds from the window. We will definitely be using Trina's services again when we travel in the future, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking to board their kitty!
We were going to be away for about three weeks and were looking for a place to board our cat that would provide her with plenty of human interaction, ample space to climb and play and long hours at huge windows. We found all that and more at Trina’s Whisker Haven! It’s such a welcoming, cozy yet enriching space that was specifically designed for cats in mind and our cat made herself at home the moment she arrived. The room we opted for our kitty had a huge tall window for hours of birdwatching and creatively used the vertical space to allow our cat to climb to heights she’s never experienced before! The playroom our cat had access to three times a day for play was amazing! There were even more windows to sit by and so many nooks and crannies for our kitty to explore, toys to play with and interesting structures to investigate! And the best gift of all the hugs, care and affection she got from Trina! We also received detailed updates with the cutest photos via email (since we were traveling) and it helped us feel more at ease. We’ll definitely be back when we next travel and our kitty is already missing her time at the Whisker Haven. We highly, highly recommend Trina’s Whisker Haven to all cat owners! 👍👍
Never have I been so impressed. Trina cared for our fur-baby Fluffy while we were away on vacation. We received daily updates complete with pictures. Trina is kind-hearted and clearly a true cat lover. It was so nice to have no concern about Fluffy's well being as she was in loving hands. Trina's facility can best be described as Cat Heaven. Fluffy's space was tastefully appointed, complete with a window view!! Rather than being called Whisker Haven, Whisker Heaven is more fitting. If I could leave a 10 star review, I would. Thank you, Trina, we so appreciated everything you did to make Fluffy feel both at home, and more importantly, to feel loved!
Ok, look, The Whisker Haven is hands down, the best place to send your feline family member on vacation while you go on vacation. Our Smokey was only 6 months old when we had a 2 week vacation planned, we were worried that 2 weeks of being ignored would permanently change her sweet and loving personality, we were so thrilled when we found Trina and The Whisker Haven, I am firmly convinced Smokey had a more luxurious vacation than we did. Trina excelled at communication, we received updates and photos and best of all Smokey is the same sweet cat we dropped off, how could she not be with Trina giving her love for 2 weeks. Thanks Trina! We will be back!
Trina is the best kitty caretaker! I was very worried about leaving my two girls for a week since they rarely leave the house, but Trina treated them like her own. I received thoughtful daily updates and pictures. I would most definitely leave my two fur babies at Whisker Haven again.
Whisker Haven far exceeded our expectations! Trina was fabulous and it was evident she loves fur babies! I received daily updates with photos and I could tell my cat was so happy and loved while there. He received a special bag of goodies when he left and I know he will miss the pampering he received while he was on vacation! Thank you Trina for such great care. Definitely recommend this business and would give it 10 stars if I could! Clean, lots of fun things for cats to be entertained by and stunning windows for bird watching. We will most definitely be back!
I feel so lucky to have found The Whisker Haven on Google. Our experience was a My baby was very well taken care of during her 2 week boarding experience. Trina would send us the cutest update photos everyday showing how much fun our cat was having playing and window watching. When we came to pick her up she was brushed, smelling fresh and we received a bag of goodies with new toys for our baby. Our cat also clearly got super attached and loved her. Super happy to have a trusted person to take care of her. We will be coming back in the future.

We brought both our lab mixes to here and the Lawrence location pre-covid for about a year or so. My biggest lab got his rear leg ravaged to the point he was limping when I left with him on that Friday. By the time we got him seen on Saturday by emergency vet the leg was infected. This dog who whines about everything apparently didn't make a sound while his leg was being torn up to the point there was blood, then limping then an infection. We took our dogs out of daycare since then.
Let's Go Canine is a wonderful daycare! My pup is a very timid and anxious boy, but after just a couple days at LGC, he would freak out with happiness whenever we pulled into the parking lot. The staff is super kind and It's very clear that they give each pup ample care and attention. I trust them completely with my dog. Highly recommend.
We love Let’s Go Canine! We have a very energetic golden retriever and she loves her time there. The staff have been amazing at helping us navigate our pup’s anxiety, giving us feedback and providing resources. Our pup has made such an improvement and I can tell the staff really keep a watch on our girl. Highly recommend.
I had high hopes for let’s go canine, but unfortunately they let me down hard. We had an acclimation day which would mean that my dog was being kept an extremely close eye on but upon pickup I noticed she was squinting really hard and her eye was bloodshot. Our vet said he could see a paw print on her eye where she was struck. I’m not angry with them because it happened. I’m angry because they didn’t know it happened. I would not recommend this place as they do not pay attention to the welfare of the dogs.
My dogs LOVE going here. They cannot get into the building fast enough when I drop them off and they are always exhausted when I bring them home. After the first visit for orientation I could tell that the staff truly love the dogs and enjoy their work. I feel comforted that my babies are well cared for when I drop them off. I would recommend.

We LOVE Playtime Pet Resort!!! And Moose does too! When we get off the exit, he knows exactly where we are going and the tail doesn’t stop. The staff are so wonderful and take such amazing care of all the pups. And not to mention, they take photos daily and it makes my heart so happy to see our baby having the best day!!! We feel so fortunate to have such wonderful people caring and looking after our pup.
Playtime Pet Resort is a safe, wonderful place for our little pup Nova. She loves it there and we love the staff! Always willing to go the extra mile for us because our schedules are so crazy! Angel and I love Playtime Pet Resort in Salisbury! The staff is wonderful! I love looking at the pictures they post. She always looks so happy to be there. I also love how I can drop her off no appointment necessary. I am retired so I don't bring her on a regular schedule just when I am going to be out for an extended period of time. It makes it so convenient for me. Have not boarded her overnight yet but I will not hesitate if the need arises.

Our dogs go there and they love it. They know exactly where they are going when they’re on their way and get so excited as soon as we pull into the parking lot. The facility also has a ton of extras for the dogs (ie bacon bubbles, one on one playtime, and other fun treats). We love taking them, and they come home pooped everytime !!

Annie absolutely loves going to Michelle and Aarons. She is still just a baby so she is learning how to socialize. Michelle has provided the perfect setting for her with the group Annie is part of twice a week. And on that off day Aaron comes to our house and walks her. They are both very loving and kind and it shows in her smiles from daycare. If you are looking for excellent, competent, kind and caring people to look after your dog then Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron are just the folks you're looking for. Two thumbs up from Annie!
The pure joy that my pups Willow & Lucy feel when Uncle Aaron shows up to take them for a walk in the woods is a 12/10. Aunty Michelle has been caring for Willow since fall 2019 when we got her as a baby, & this dynamic Aunty-Uncle duo welcomed 8-week-old Lucy into the pack with open arms in early 2021. Michelle & Aaron aren’t your typical dog walkers/sitters — they care deeply for each animal, which shines through in the thoughtful feedback, gentle training and commentary they provide. & of course, all the treats & pats for Willow & Lucy! Both of my dogs have struggled with being reactive at times, which Michelle & Aaron handle with grace and empathy (& without judgement). We think our pups might like them more than they like us! We appreciate this small business so, so much.
There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron, and for the care and compassion they have shown with our two dogs, Duncan and Aura (aka Charles and Barbara). Right from our first meeting, Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron made me feel so comfortable, and put my heart at ease, as the prospect of entrusting my pups’ care to another was not an easy decision to make. Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron are so professional, and so knowledgeable, and the love they have for animals is evident with every interaction. One of my two dogs is somewhat reactive, and very anxious when meeting new people, but Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron have been so patient and gentle with her, allowing Barbara the time she needs to feel relaxed and stress free during Uncle Aaron’s daily visits. Nothing makes my day more, than receiving Charles and Barbara’s daily report card, each time with the most priceless pictures and updates! Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron have given me such peace of mind, knowing that, in my absence, my pups are being so well cared for and looked after. I am so thankful!!
Reliable, safe and our dog LOVES them!! Michelle and Aaron worked with our reactive dog to gain her trust and now she greets Aaron for every walk with a million kisses. I feel so good knowing they are there to help walk and care for our girl while we are out at work or on vacation.
We couldn’t be happier. Our Cooper has been going to Auntie Michelle’s since he was a pup. That’s was four years ago. Cooper has a blast over there and he’s treated like one of the family. Michelle and Aaron are the best. They are more than helpful with our hectic schedules and last minute drop offs. We trust them 100% with our boy. We highly recommend them for all your pets needs.
Michelle and Aaron have devoted their lives to dogs, and it shows with how much they love and care for them. We felt so comfortable leaving our beagle, Maya, in their hands. They'd send pictures of their walks and adventures and Maya always looked so happy! Highly recommend Aunty Michelle's for anyone needing someone to look after their puppers!!

Wow, Michelle and Aaron were amazing in caring for our sweet kitty while we were away for 2 weeks! We’ve trusted only one sitter with our cats for the last 10 years so were nervous about a new sitter but felt very comfortable after meeting them. Our shy cat with a history of being timid with male visitors and caregivers may have fallen in love with Aaron! He definitely has a way with cats that put our cat at ease. Michelle is great as well and full of such positive energy! The regular and timely communication and tons of photos during each visit to our home helped us to enjoy our vacation even more since we could see how comfortable she was with both Aaron and Michelle while they ensured that she received her meds as needed. Thank you Aaron and Michelle! We will definitely be looking for your love and care for our sweet girl again soon!
we love michelle & aaron...but our leo loves them more. could not imagine a better option for daily play or a long term stay...from 5 hr playdates to overnight stays, we have 100% comfort knowing leo is cared for and having a blast with all the friends he's made these last few months. 1st birthday pic photo cred to auntie michelle
Aunty Michelle and Uncle Aaron are the best! Lenny waits at the door for their PICK UP! He shakes, jumps and hollers when they come up the driveway to collect him!!! When he gets home, his bed is calling for a nap!! He’s just runs and runs!!! He’s been one of the crew for over a year!!
