Derek is the best! I’ve never trusted anyone besides family to walk my giant Great Dane and was hesitant in beginning. Derek and Moose had an instant connection that put my stress at ease! Now Moose gets excited every time Derek comes over and I have peace of mind having someone so reliable. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough amazing things about Derek and his crew at Beach Buds! When we send our dog there I am confident that he is safe, and having so much fun! He loves playing with all the dogs, and napping with them as well. Derek and his crew ensure that all dogs that come in get along well with all the dogs, which makes us feel so good to send our dog there. They offer a variety of packages to fit your needs and Pick up and drop off options which i use often! They also sell yummy treats, toys and gear! He also offers dog walking services which I know are awesome as well. Definitely worth checking out for your pup!!

The Staff is Amazing they interact with the dogs, Ally picks up at times and brings home my dog. She’s a sweetheart then there’s Lilly she’s loves the dogs and they love her. Then there’s Scott, him and Lilly work together one in the morning in in the afternoon. In my book they are 3 A+ Staff

Great doggy daycare if you live in the area (even if you don’t and need a beach day!) you can always count on beach buds! The owner Derek is very reliable and you can trust that your dog or puppy will be in great hands! Need pick up or drop off in the area? No problem, Derek will try to accommodate you. They will also feed your dog, if needed. My dog loves it at beach buds and comes home happy and exhausted. Clean facility with a great staff, it’s the best place to bring your pooch when you are busy at work or need of a little R&R! 5 stars!

My dog loves beach buds! Derek and his team help me out so much. I am able to go to work for extended hours knowing my dog is safe and well taken care of. I usually don't get out of work until after they are closed so Derek brings my dog home for me so that I don't have to worry. He was even able to help us with our engagement photos so we could have our dog in a few of the pictures. A very valuable business in long beach

They took amazing care of my dog. Lots of one on one attention and updates to my cell during the day. They even groomed him! Stefanie was super sweet and went above and beyond! This was my dog’s first time being left with someone else and he seemed to do great with them. Happy at pick up :) It was super easy to book online just two business days in advance as well which I needed for a last minute trip. Easy to email vaccination records as well.

I can only say/write the best things about Beach Buds Doggy Daycare. Our dog, June, a 1 yo Duck Toller was a 2-3 times a week visitor for over a year (we are now living in Hawaii). She would become very excited when I asked her if she wanted to go to daycare and see Derek. Derek and his staff are friendly, professional, trustworthy and care deeply about the dogs. They offer so many services. I used pick up which was great when I had to go to work very early. I also used dog walking and knew that my dog and home would be safe. I only wish that I could find a dog daycare as special as Beach Buds in Hawaii! We already miss everyone there :-(

My dog Penny started going to Beach Buds right around the time they opened the daycare and we LOVE it! I have peace of mind all day that she's well taken care of and safe and she has the best time playing with all her little friends. Derek and the staff are all wonderful and I know Penny loves them because she jumps out of my arms most mornings because she can't wait to get inside. I highly recommend beach buds to everyone!

Beach Buds is awesome and reliable. I've been using them a few days a week for the past couple years I can can always count on them to take good care of my pup. Sometimes my work schedule causes me to cancel/reschedule walks, and they have always been very accommodating and only ask for 24 hours notice (at the latest). Alyson and Derek are the best and I get notes on every single walk in the their easy to use portal to know how my dog did that day. Highly recommend.

Michelle and her mother are fantastic dog sitters! They take such great care of Simba, always making sure he’s well-loved and happy. From walks to playtime, they understand exactly what he needs and keep him entertained. Simba always comes home relaxed and content after staying with them. It’s clear they have a genuine affection for him, and I couldn’t ask for better sitters! Highly recommend them to anyone looking for responsible, caring dog sitters.

I have been boarding my dog, Simba, here for a while and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, Michelle and her mother were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They took the time to get to know Simba, ensuring he felt comfortable and at ease. I found Michelle and her mom after my dogs daycare closed down. I can’t express how incredible they are!!! I have crazy schedule and they are always extra accommodating. My dogs love going there. Whether is for few hours, full days or for extended periods they ensure my babies are taken care of. You see the love they have for my babies. I definitely recommend them to anyone. If I need to drop them at 6am they are available. If I am running late they are available. Going on vacation they are available!!! They are super dog lovers!!

Had a horrible experience with these people. Left my dogs there for 3 days they called me 6am the first morning to come get the dogs because he was barking and they couldn’t sleep. The person I met was not the person who watched the dogs. My dog doesn’t bark so there was something wrong and making him uncomfortable. Either way the person who contacted me in the morning telling me I had to come get them was extremely rude and nasty. Don’t ever trust these people with your dogs. There are plenty of responsible dog sitters out there. Stay away from these people.

Michelle was great, our dog loved being there. She was very accommodating with everything and our dog Jack enjoyed his stay with her and her family.

Michelle has taken care of my dog Max for over a year now. He adores Michelle and her whole family. She always updates me regularly when he's in her home and he comes home happy. She is very prompt in her responses and makes sure to message me back right away, which is very important and a major reason I feel comfortable with her as my dog sitter. Michelle has taken care of both my dogs Pepper and Stacy for over two weeks and I cannot feel more happy with her services. She has informed me daily on their progress and how they are doing and honestly this is the first time that they were left home alone so I was very skeptical but in her care I never had to worry about anything! I definitely recommend her services to everyone and I will see her in a couple of weeks!

Our pup Monty had a great time with Michelle! She was very sweet with our girl from the beginning and made us feel totally at ease. Monty surely has no critiques except to probably stay longer. I would have loved some more picture updates as it was our first time really leaving her but Michelle was so flexible and communicated a lot over text which was greatly appreciated. Can’t wait for her next stay!

My husband and I dropped our dogs off with Michelle for a weekend. She was very polite, responsible and professional. She kept us updated on their walks and playtime’s and sent us pictures! I would highly recommend. It’s nice knowing that your pups are in good hands while your away. We will def use her services again :)

I was looking for a doggie day care where my dog, Hudson, a puppy golden doodle can learn to socialize with other dogs in a safe, loving environment. That place is Loving Paws with Michelle. I know Husdon is an amazing hands with Michelle and her team. Hudson is is now 2 yrs old and always comes home a happy and tired doggie. I love that Michelle treats him and cares for him like he is part of her family. I would highly recommend Loving Paws for daycare and boarding services.

I have a beautiful Saint Bernard whom I don't trust leaving anywhere or with anyone when I travel except MICHELLE!!! She truly is a blessing in my life. I was honestly afraid I would never be able to travel again because I didn't know who would take care of my big girl. When I was referred by a friend to Loving Paws Dog Services I immediately fell in love with the whole process. Michelle loves dogs more than anything and has tons of experience caring for all dogs from small to giant breeds for many many years. She is very professional 👏 I had a meet and greet at the house the first time, followed by me leaving my pup at Michelle's house for a play date (only a few hours) to see how she behaved in the new environment along with the two gorgeous well behaved labs (Riley and Luna, I love them too) that live in the house. The following week my dog went to Loving Paws for a whole week. I was updated day and night with how Cozy was doing and also Michelle has two cameras setup both indoor and outdoor. Being able to communicate and watch Cozy was everything to me. Michelle followed all feeding/medication instructions perfectly and walked her endlessly. It really is so nice that she has a beautiful big house with a gorgeous fenced in back yard. I can't explain enough to everyone how this is the perfect and safest place to leave your furry loved ones when you must!!!! Highly recommended a million times over. Thank you Michelle 🙏😁❤

Michele is the ONLY dog sitter I'll use to watch my dog, Layla. I've gone upstate at least two times, and didn't have to worry about my precious pup for not one second. She's caring, extremely careful with my dog, and kept her happy when I was away. On video chat, I could see how comfortable Layla was with her. I nicknamed her "The Dog Whisperer". Lol. I recommend her company to anyone who needs a dog sitter!

Michele is a true animal lover! She’s patient, kind and passionate about the well-being of each dog she sits for. My rescue puppy was wild (nipping, jumping, chewing, barking) and Michele was one of the only people who could handle her during that time - it’s been two years now and we can’t imagine leaving our sweet girl with anyone else. As a busy mom of two young kids, it’s also helpful that Michele regularly offers to pick up our dog at home before we go away and drop her back to us when our trip is over. Such a time saver. Lots of walks, belly rubs and homemade treats for dogs who stay with loving paws. Highly recommend!

Michelle took very good care of my Frankie for a few nights of boarding. I felt very comfortable on my vacation knowing he was in good hands. I got updates and videos and was able to check on him through the nest cam. I will definitely be using loving Paws again

I highly recommend loving paws,Michele is great with my puppy Dakota.she is a rescue puppy and is a little timid around other dogs and people.i tried a few other doggy day cares and they just didn't work out.to hectic and to many dogs for Dakota. Then we found michele and she was great with Dakota from the first meeting. Dakota nows runs to her when we go there.michele has a very nice home setup for the dogs she cares for. And 2 very friendly dogs of her own who welcomed Dakota immediately. I feel very comfortable leaving Dakota with Michele and I highly recommend her.

This is the only place I trust to care for my dogs! I have two boys that can be hard to handle since they require lots of attention and also one has health issues. I can always trust that they will be loved and attended to as I require. Also more importantly their heath needs and medications will be properly given. The delicious home made doggie treats never hurt either. So happy I found Loving Paws!!!!! ❤️🐾

Our 8 month old, small size puppy was well cared for, happy, and had a lot of fun when we were away for a day. She had a great time playing with the dogs of the house who were very tolerant of a crazy pupoy. I highly recommend Loving Paws!

I cannot say enough good things about Diana (the owner at Forest Hills in Home Pet Services) and our walker/pet sitter Diana. Both Diana’s are amazing. We are so incredibly grateful for all that Diana (our walker) has done for our family. It is so hard to find someone who cares as much about your fur babies as you do, and Diana truly does. She loves our two dogs and two cats as if they were her own and keeps our apartment spotless when she comes. She walks our dogs 2-3 x daily, is always on time and cleans up after the pups. She even makes the dogs beds, something I do not even do every day. We are grateful beyond words that we found her. Thank you for all you do Diana!!

Great service. This is a comprehensive and caring service. I have two Cats and live in Forest Hills, NY. I recently moved and needed a new Cat Sitter. I am so glad I found InHome Pet Services. They came to do a meet and greet and were super thorough asking questions and building the profile of my Cats. I highly recommend In Home Pet Services! It was the first time since we adopted cats that we went away for a longer amount of time. Diana was very quick at getting back to us to set up a time to meet, and schedule the visits. My cats were taken care of extremely well and our apartment was left spotless. I've only been using IHPS since January but am so happy I chose them. They are all fantastic and my dog clearly loves them. I feel extremely comfortable with the walkers and know they are truly looking out for my dog. For example, after my bulldog's eye surgery they were providing feedback on whether or not she looked well that day- what more could you ask for! Not to mention they offerred to give her medication at no extra charge. They're always available, even last minute, so I can say they are really reliable. I would highly recommend them if you're in the area and looking for a dog walking service!!

After moving to Queens last year, we tried a couple of different dog walking services but found In Hope Pet Services to be the best. They have been reliable, conscientious and professional. My dog enjoys his walks with them and they are very good with giving feedback on his behavior. I recommend them highly and my dog gives them five 'woofs' and two paws up.

What a great find! With a schedule taking me out of my house on an inconsistent schedule 7 days a week and both daytime and night, In Home Pet Services has been there to be a loving, caring presence to my dog. My dog has some medical issues requiring some special love and care for walks, food, and giving of medicine. But they have embraced every situation and my dog adores them. It is such a relief to know my dog is well cared for as I need to be out of the house for work or pleasure during the day or evening. They are stupendous.

I have nothing, but good things to say about In Home Pet Services. They are kind, professional, trustworthy and I could tell my cats were receiving the proper attention when I would come home from vacation. They took great care of my 2 cats Alexander and Puma. Even when I emailed last minute to extend my trip back home in Texas they responded right away and they also let me know the cat food and litter was running low and they could pick it up for me.

My dog is my baby, I don’t care what anyone’s says, and this company 1000% gets that! Veronica has everything so perfectly detailed and makes sure your fur baby is 10000% taken care of. My golden has bad anxiety and I was so worried( wonder who she gets it from) they did great and helped out so much even when she was being difficult. I can’t thank Veronica and Stephanie (our sitter) enough for helping us have our girl at our special day. Magnolia was our flower girl and Stephanie helped us get pictures and then for the ceremony. This is the greatest company I have ever found and I cannot express how much of a wonderful experience it was to work with them for my wedding day. Pawfect for You is a very professional and accommodating company to work with. We used them to bring our pup to our daughter’s wedding so she could be part of the services and be in pictures. Of course we were nervous about allowing a stranger to transport our baby to and from and taking care of her. Our experience with Pawfect for You was incredible. Veronica was so easy to talk to and made us feel so comfortable right away about the care of our dog. The sitter we were matched with, Jess, did a fantastic job of keeping our pup happy all day long! She was his favorite person on our wedding day (maybe had to do with the treats) and followed every request we made perfectly. It meant the world to us to have our dog in our wedding and to know he was safe and cared for while we were away from home that night. Veronica was SO detailed, from the big things like the timing of arrival for the sitter, down to the type of water we wanted our dog to be drinking. Best dog daycare on Long Island! Huge yard and big spacious playrooms giving the dogs tons of space to let them be dogs! My dogs love it, I bring them all the time

If you care about your dog at all, do not trust their place and their employees’ incompetence. We took our dog here for only the second time for day care and they gave her to the wrong family - which they didn’t even realize until my husband came to pick up our dog 90 min later. They also kept my husband in the dark for 30 min and told him nothing. Apparently they take the dogs’ collars off for “safety” to play so your dog is there with no identification, and this is nowhere in their disclosures. Also, they clearly don’t ask for ID to give your dog back bc they allegedly sent her home with a random dog walker who didn’t know what dog they were picking up. Owner was more concerned with her reputation than that my dog was sent to the wrong house and was missing from their control for over 2.5 hours. I will be pursuing the matter with corporate. UPDATE: The owner of Houndstown Island Park continues to gaslight us in their response below instead of apologizing, again. Also, their response is untruthful as my dog was unaccounted for over 2 hours until we tried to pick her up and she wasn't there. Then staff had to check cameras to find her.

Hounds town is great. My dog , Arthur , always has a great time and is well taken care of. We send Arthur to hounds town for just a day of fun and for boarding when away on vacations. I trust them and always know my dog is in good hands.

Desi loves Hounds Town. Spends many a vacay there while his mom is away. He runs to the door the minute he realizes where we are. Best place for pups! Highly recommend!!! Edited July 2024. Two years later and Desi still loves going to Hounds Town. They are the best!

TERRIBLE experience!! This place is just a MEATPACKING. Left my dog for 6 days. everything is a mystery in this place they don’t show you the installation at all. I trusted them and left my dog there. For 4 days I was calling to check on my dog and they refused to give me any detail of how he was doing or even send a single phone. For a sec I thought my dog was dead. The staff was rude the whole time for no reason like they were picking on me. never again!

I’ve been sending my dog here for the past four years. Each overnight stay and each daytime stay have been great. The crew at Island Park are great and always so accommodating. They have helped me out in emergency situations. I’ve already scheduled a weeklong stay for my pup when we go on vacation. I would recommend Houndstown Island Park to everyone with a cherished pup!

We leave our lovable dog, Mate, at Hounds Town IP every time we are out of town. They always take very good care of him and he is always in good hands when he is with the Island Park crew! Pictures are posted almost every time that we leave on vacation and it’s wonderful to get photo updates every time we are away from him! Highly recommend them!!!

A wonderful place for your dog. Daycare... Overnight... Vacation... They are great for all. They match up your dog with others for playgroups & not just by size but by personality... My girl is more on the bigger side but prefers groups with smaller dogs. The people of Hounds Town recognized this without me telling them. You see the dogs coming in for the day happy to be there & leaving with smiles on their faces. This is the kind of place where you can relax knowing your precious pup is being well taken care of...

I use to come here but loyal customers with multiple dogs don’t mean anything to them! Early appointments don’t mean anything either first appointments and I was still getting my dogs after 3pm! The price always changed every visit! I go to Bones,Bath , and beyond now ! They’re awesome.. always have appointments, do a great job , and give my dog back in an hour and a half ! I’m a 3 strikes and you’re out kind of person!

Loyalty means nothing to this "family business". I missed a grooming appointment because of an emergency (why else would someone miss an appointment that they confirmed three times for?) When I called back to reschedule, I hear the groomer yell in the back with the nastiest attitude "She'll have to wait EIGHT WEEKS for her next appointment!" The kind man on the phone was smart enough to instantly put me on hold. He gets back on saying 'oh it's going to be tough to get an appointment blah blah blah' to which I respond listen if I'm going to have to wait weeks and weeks then forget it. He says he'll call back, okay. They called me the *next day* which just tells me they waited until the offended groomer was gone and asked the other one who worked the next day who said yes. Too late. I really trusted you guys and liked all the people who worked there and this whole interaction was really unfortunate, but if you treat people disrespectfully there will be something said. So congratulations to that nasty groomer - you just lost a customer that came about every 3 weeks, tipped 20% every single time (even though she would cut corners and not do a good job in general but I overlooked it because I understand being overworked) and never missed an appointment until this literal emergency. And lastly @TheBarrieInn please do not respond I literally don't care about what you have to say lol

My mini-poodle Brandy has been a customer of The Barrie Inn since she was 5 months old. She is now almost 12. My Dog absolutely loves going & this great place has the BEST for boarding & grooming. I have tried a few other places to save money but nothing compares to the Great Owners & Staff!

I had a trip planned prior to getting my Jack a 6 month old medium golden doodle. A lady I met in my doctors office recommended the barrie inn for training and the fido fitness club. While looking into that they mentioned they do boarding. Just picked my Jack up from his own vacation. He is pooped out from all the play and fun. They followed my feeding regimen including his special breakfast apple and learned all his quirkiness. I highly recommend the barrie inn to anyone who wants a place that loves and cares for their babies

Called to make an appointment for my dog. At first seemed nice. Then when they told me they don’t have anything available. I asked if they can give her a bath? They told me Friday at 10am. The women on the phone asked me for her name. As I gave her my dogs name I mentioned “ she’s been there before”. When she looked up my dogs name she started interrogating me why I haven’t been there over a year. She seemed so mad that I wasn’t there overly a year and told me ya I’m sorry we don’t have anything available. What changed? You had no idea who I was and was able to give me a time and day when she can come. To then tell me there is no availability. She was yelling at me and being rude. After the response I have just gotten that they are not available for another 3-6weeks. I have been told that if I bring my dog in next week she can be seen. I have brought a lot of business to this place for many years. It’s hard to have a conversation with someone yelling at you. I have been to many dog places. And this one I know I won’t be coming back anymore. I tried to be calm. And asked her why she is doing this? And she said bye and hung up. I have been there before with many dogs. If that is how you treat a paying customer then it’s fine I won’t come anymore. Just disgusting how you treat people over the phone.

Desiree, Chase, Marc and the team took such great care of my puppy. He stayed at the "Inn" for four days and made lots of new friends. I highly recommend the Barrie Inn and will definitely take Duke Ellington there again.

Amazing pet hotel. It's a 5 star retreat for our fur babies. The groomers also are outstanding. Very flexible, understanding. The facility is inpeccably clean always. You can see your babies from TV cameras within the entryway. And the price is just right. Yeshuah loves you and your soul is priceless!

Mende is reliable, loving, and understanding. She has been walking my dog Max for about a year now and I can always trust her to be communicative, show up consistently, make sure that Max is safe, and show him love as if he is her own. I love receiving pictures and updates from her on their walks, and she’s flexible if timing needs to be changed or if there’s a special request (like to feed him after his walk). I love that I have someone I can trust to care for Max when I’m at work during the day so I don’t have to worry. Mende has also watched Max overnight once as well, which was great experience.

Erika is a life saver. She is professional, helpful, compassionate, and genuinely loves my dog like her own. This was our first experience with Long Island Pet Service, and we’re thoroughly impressed. While we were away on a 5-day trip, Gilbert came by twice a day to feed, check on, play with, and clean up after our cats. He did an outstanding job. Gilbert was incredibly professional and took great care to ensure our cats were comfortable at home while keeping us updated on how they were doing. He sent plenty of photos during each visit, and it was clear our cats were happy with him. Normally, we’re a bit anxious leaving our cats behind, but this time we felt completely at ease knowing they were in capable hands. This was our first time with Long Island Pet Service & we are so pleased! We went on a 5-day trip & Gilbert made 2 trips a day to feed, check on, play with & clean up after our cats. Gilbert was absolutely wonderful with them. He was very professional, & did a great job ensuring both our cats’ comfort at home & keeping us in the loop on how our cats were doing. He made sure to send us tons of pictures every visit & our cats clearly loved him too. I don’t often go away on vacation but when I do I struggle to find someone to look over my baby doggo whom I consider my life! Lol. I am a little skeptical about boarding faculties and would rather give my baby to someone who is trustworthy and reliable. I came across DeeDee through a friend and honestly, all my worries went away! DeeDee was super professional, patient with my little demogorgon and provided lots of tips and advice that I will most definitely be using on my 1 year old mischievous Beagle. Her and I communicated daily & she provided me with pictures and videos of my baby doggo being a wonderful boy. Oh and he got lots and lots of treats and had a blast with the other doggo’s that he prob forgot about me haha. This is the first but it most definitely won’t be the last time I utilize DeeDee’s services. 100% recommend!

Dee is the best! She's reliable & accomodating. We have three cane corsos and because of her skill, patience and knowledge, she's the only boarding kennel well use. Checking in/out, meet & greets are super efficient. In general Dee just puts your worries at ease when you need to travel and have no choice but to board your pet. Dee sent us pics and videos during their stay and the dogs had a lot of recreation time which I know they loved being large breeds. When we picked up our dogs after 8 days they were happy, healthy & well taken care of. We look forward to working with you again Dee! Thank you!

We don’t often trust people with our dogs while we are away, not sure if what they say on paper matches their actual services as far as treating the dogs as we were if we were home… Khadija, and the “Deedees Pet Retreat” team made us feel like we were still at home with our pups. Sending us photos checking in everytime they are. Layla our oldest often gets separation anxiety when we go on trips but the pictures Khadija sent us allowed us to rest easy knowing our doggies were in good hands. We highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for not just a pet sitter but someone who will treat your dogs like their your own. Anytime we need our pups to be safe and cared for we will always be using “Deedee’s pet Retreat” thank you for your service and love to our babies.

I had to go away for 2 weeks and found Dee Dee's Pet Retreat literally at the last minute. 2 minutes into speaking with the owner Khadija, I felt comfortable leaving my dogs for an extended period of time. Very kind, professional, and welcoming. I was also very surprised too see how clean and spacious the area where the dogs are kept was. Very good service and would highly recommend.
