Nicest, sweetest, most delightful hosts EVER! They were so accommodating in every which way and very generous. Since I didn’t have my car, they offered to help me get to and from the bus station. They provided thorough instructions for pet care and walked me through their home which I really appreciate! Micco and “Bubba” were well behaved. I enjoyed my daily walks with Micco around the neighborhood and bubba curled up on my lap to cuddle by the second night! Frisco is a lovely area with lots to explore (I got into some climbing and bikes the Dillon loop). I cannot recommend these folks enough! The epitome of what THS is all about. Our sit for Nicola and Lick and Pickle was excellent. Prior to the sit Nicola provided us with all relevant information and her daughter met us at the property to go through the routines of Lick and Pickle. The sit was well position for local amenities and places to visit. We are members of the NT and English Heritage so found many places of interest within 30 min drive. The stars of the show were Lick and Pickle themselves. Two amazingly well trained and behaved black Labs. Both were incredibly affectionate, happy and content. They loved walks and were always friendly to other dogs and owners we met along the way. The area around Malpas seems to have a thriving dog walking community. Everyone we met was happy to stop and chat and made us feel welcome. We would love to sit Lick and Pickle again of the opportunity arises. Definitely a 5 star plus sit! Thank you !
had a wonderful and relaxing stay with very nice, gentle dogs and fantastic hosts who gave me a very nice welcome. The hosts were always up for a good joke, gave me extra Irish lessons, cooked fantastic food and had the best coffee and Spanish hot chocolate. The dogs are super relaxed and friendly and are always up for an extra portion of food. I had no problems with the dogs. I would love to come again
Alfie was a little pleasure to look after I absolutely fell in love with him. My mum was with me for this sit and she loved him too. He was so excited when we first went in but during the sit he was really calm and quiet. Would look after him again in an instant. And Chloe communicated with us really well before and during the house sit. Thanks for letting us look after him. Cat :)
Penny was so lovely and welcoming and made me feel very at home. Pumpkin and Percy loved walking on the beach every morning and afternoon and were very well behaved once we got to know each other.
Scout is a bundle of enthusiasm. It was really sweet getting to know him and the house is a quaint English terrace in the centre of Cambridge City. There was a bit of confusion at times with him looking at me puzzled and barking, he wanted to go on an extra walk, then his treats in toy multiple time, but he was obedient with things I got him to do and on walks. A lovely stay.
