Buddy Dog and Buddy Cat are the sweetest duo. Robin and her community were so kind and welcoming we immediately felt like part of the family. Being nearby historic Lunenburg and the gorgeous Mahone Bay means the area has loads to see and do. The house guidelines were clear and we would definitely be happy to come back again.

Our family had the privilege of housesitting at this captivating farmhouse, and it was an absolutely delight. Meeting the homeowners and taking a tour of the property gave us confidence in our ability to manage everything effectively, along with their comprehensive instructions.

The highlight of this experience was undoubtedly the animals. It was our first time caring for goats, and they turned out to be incredibly easy-going and a lot of fun. Patty, in particular, was a pro at her milking routine and showed remarkable patience as I got the hang of it.

The chickens required minimal attention but rewarded us generously with a steady supply of eggs. We cherished our mornings feeding the ducks and watching them glide in the pond. Piper, the dog, was a well-behaved and affectionate companion, not only on leisurely walks around the property but also being wonderful with our children.

Caring for the cats was a breeze, and our kids formed special bonds with Mr. Whiskers and Tessie, who eagerly indulged in cuddles and playtime. Also my daughter adored Gerald the Guinea pig, who was incredibly sweet and low-maintenance.

The farmhouse itself provided a cozy and well-appointed sanctuary, complete with excellent Wi-Fi that allowed my husband to work remotely without any hitches.

Leaving the farmhouse, we carried with us an appreciation for the tranquility of rural life and a trove of memories from our time there. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend this housesitting opportunity to others. Our deepest gratitude goes out to Adam, Elizabeth, and their wonderful children for this unforgettable experience.
