This was an amazing stay! We LOVED getting to spend 3 weeks with Echo and Jasper--Echo is such a sweet, friendly, well-behaved girl, and Jasper is a friendly, affectionate, and independent cat; we quickly bonded with them both during our stay. Echo loved going on walks and hikes with us and was always game to catch snowballs outside or cuddle up on the couch. Jasper has a lot of personality and loves getting pets and drinking from the bathroom sink. They are both such sweethearts! Reggie (snake) and the fish were easy to take care of as well. The house is beautiful, very comfortable, and has everything you might need, and is in a great location in Rossland. It’s a short walk to the main street, and there are walking trails right near the house. Rossland is such a cool town and truly an outdoor lover’s paradise, there are so many things to do year round! Carolyn and Dave are truly kind and gracious hosts–they gave us so many suggestions for things to do in the area, picked us up from/dropped us off at the shuttle, and were great at preparing us for our stay and very helpful during our stay if we needed anything. They hosted us a night in advance and showed us around the house and introduced us to all the pets, and took us on a little tour of Rossland the next day, which was much appreciated and helped us feel prepared when the sit started. Overall, we highly recommend this sit and would absolutely come back!
