This is the second set that Cindy has done for us, and we are very pleased with her helping out look after Liquorice :) it was great that Cindy proactively reached out to us, if there were any questions. Cindy’s communication in particular is brilliant; she’s very friendly, approachable, and clear, as well as happy to ask questions if needed. We had nice regular updates on how the sit is going. Liquorice appeared very happy on return and the apartment was left clean, nice and tidy. Cindy was kind enough to wash the bedding and towels before departure which we are very grateful for! Absolutely fantastic experience with Steven and Natalia. I'm sure this was a far from ideal experience for them but they were amazing. Due to my work travel and delayed building work in the house they had some obstacles to deal with including builders, a not quite as advertised property and a bathroom flood! However, they approached it all in their stride, relieving our stress with the situation. They took excellent care of our cat Leah, the garden and house itself. We received beautiful pictures of her and could tell they adored her and the feeling was mutual! Regarding the flood, it's every homeowners worst nightmare to have something like that happen whilst on holiday, or to feel like you may need to return early to deal with something that a visitor may not be able to or want to handle. However these two dealt with it, sent us updates, assured us and we were super happy with the outcome. Returning home to a sparkling house, flowers and a gift was the cherry on top! We would welcome them back to housesit anytime..if they'd have us!!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
