We cannot express how grateful we are to have pet sat for Mariana and her family! We are so very glad to have found them through THS! Their home is situated in one of the loveliest neighborhoods in the Walnut Creek / Concord area, with easy access to everything you need, from grocery stores to coffee shops and restaurants. Their family did everything to accommodate us and to make us feel at home (very successfully, I might add!). They actively chose to be the greatest hosts they could be on a daily basis, and we are in awe of their kindness, generosity, and overall care for our well being! Though we originally signed up to take care of both pets, we ended up caring for their dog, Lola, on her own. She was a complete delight! We quite quickly fell in love with her and all her little quirks! We loved to cuddle her and wrap her up in her blanket burrito-style for naps, and to take her out for walks in the neighborhood. Speaking commands in Spanish was really fun and made for some fun stories! We will take any opportunity we can get to see Mariana and her family again in the future. We recommend them as hosts to anyone looking to learn the true meaning of community that comes with joining THS!
Thank you! Sue and Den for inviting us to house sit. It was wonderful to wake up and take Beryl out to walk in the fields and how lovely she made misty early morning walks. The chickens were a fun group and are really sweet to watch over. Everything about the house is unique and cool. Set amidst rolling green fields its really a soul cleansing experience and a great way to reset. There's plenty of beautiful areas to explore really close and the Minions is highly recommended. We took Beryl and had a fantastic set of walks. A really sweet garden pub in Saint Neots is a good stop. We hope to return and also highly recommend this sit.
We had the opportunity to do a 11-day house and pet sit for Alena and Wes. They provide detailed information about the house, their dogs Zappa and Millie, and the pond fish. The home is a modern well-equipped comfortable single-family home in a safe feeling family-oriented neighborhood. We especially enjoyed spending time with their dogs Zappa and Millie in the beautifully landscaped back yard and the awesome daily walks exploring the expansive network of paved paths that interconnect all the neighborhoods in a national park like setting. Zappa and Millie are great companions to spend time with. Zappa being older and chilled out, and Millie a very energetic full-sized 1 year-old, they provided quite a contrasting set of personalities with a common trait of loving as much attention as they could possibly get from us. We recommend this opportunity to anyone looking for a fully immersive pet sitting experience.
Philip and Nicky were great to sit for. Communication was brilliant from the beginning, and their cat Bob is just the sweetest gentleman you could hope to meet! Their home is comfortable and well equipped, within easy walking distance of Chorlton's restaurants and bars, and very accessible for the city centre.
What a beautiful, desert oasis! And the best part is the pack of fun & delightful pups. Each one has such a distinctive personality and they are a constant source of entertainment. My week with them was filled with lots of laughs & affection. And I know I am going to miss them all. Michael & Robert’s home is a spacious refuge from the world. It is the perfect place to get remote work done, cook a delicious meal, watch movies or enjoy the stars from the dark nighttime sky from the hot tub. The flowers in their landscape are glorious during the springtime. I had no idea that there are so many flowering trees in Arizona. Fountain Hills is such a charming town with easy access to parks, shops and local restaurants. So if you are looking for a Garden of Eden with the cutest pack of canine companions, this is the perfect getaway. So grateful to have been able to had this experience & I hope to revisit this experience.
Rebekah and gaël are wonderful people! Very welcoming and fun to spend time with. There was very good communication, they listen and are there when you need them! All information is clear and precise :) The home is very warm and inviting, and you feel at home right away! Especially in the company of their adorable cats Nooky and Nemo Nemo !!!! Nook nook and nemo nemo are very affectionate, but it takes time and patience! It makes the moment even more magical when you gain their trust 😸 Hoping to see Nooky and nemo nemo again, see you soon, thanks again! 😽
