Lovely stay in Durham with Nico. Communication and expectations were clear. Their home is lovely and comfortable and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood of Durham close to so much. Nico is precious and easy going. We enjoyed lots of walks around the park right across the street and through the neighborhood and the nearby Tobacco Trail. Nico was a great work from home buddy too. I so enjoyed my four days. friendly and hosts, lovely home and a super Pup.
We had a delightful time during our sit. Henry was a joy to be around. His love for off-leash runs in the park and eagerness for walks made our outings even more enjoyable. He's affectionate and loves cuddling. The apartment's location, just a block from the park, made it incredibly convenient for exploring and enjoying this urban oasis. The photos accurately depict the apartment, and we found the bed to be exceptionally comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed for a city getaway. Monica was fantastic with her communication and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We would love to come back in the future.
Everything went super well with this housesit! This was our first housesit through this platform and it was perfect! Communication with Joanne was effortless as well as all the arrangements. When we got to her place Hugo was immediately our best friend. We loved spending time with Hugo, he's a fun pup to hang out with, and he loves to cuddle and play! Taking care of him was easy since he is very sociable and easy-going. We had the best time with him and would definitely look after him again. We miss him already! Joanne's house was beautiful, modern, and extremely clean. She showed us around the house and made us feel very welcome and comfortable about the housesit. There was enough space and peace for both of us to work remotely. Joanne's instructions and welcome guide were clear and she was fast to reply if we had any questions. The park close by has different dog areas and it was convenient to go for walks and to play fetch. Hugo knows exactly which direction he'd like to go, but he was also willing to explore with us. The neighborhood was peaceful and there were many pretty areas for walks nearby.
In London, I got to catsit for Sunny! What a sweet cat; an old but still super spry gentleman. As soon as I arrived he came to greet me outside, and inside Louise gave me a warm welcome. Louise is a sweetheart and very easy to communicate with, and she has a super cosy house. The location is well connected to the city centre, but is itself very nice to stroll through. Highly recommended catsit!
This was an excellent 'sit' - absolutely stunning location (if you like having a whole lot of wilderness around you, which I do...). The cheeky chickens were easy to deal with, and the two cats even easier. Communication with Monika and Stuart (a ridiculously lovely couple, I wish we'd had even more time to talk!) was easy when needed - friendly, cheerful, and never intrusive. The house is beautiful, inside and out, and I particularly loved that there was somewhere to sit outside whichever way the wind was blowing. Being able to walk up the small hill towards stunning sunset views (with a carefully placed picnic table waiting for wine-filled moments!) is a huge bonus, too. By the way, Monika, I hope you guys appreciated the 'thumbs up' I gave the wildlife camera every time I walked past it on my way to that viewpoint! I'd never visited this part of the UK before but it's a cracking base to explore a whole load of places. I'd definitely be up for a return visit given the chance, and that's surely the best recommendation.
Peter and Tina are such warm and friendly people and we enjoyed spending time with them before the sit. Kyloe is a gorgeous gentle independent soul that you will see when she wants you to! We just made sure the feeding station and litter box were all clean, lovely and topped up. You will see her more outside than in, as she is n explorer, but she never brought anything in. She joined us in the living room a few times, but is not a lap cat. She likes her independence. We did get some rubbing on our legs and she talks to you sometimes. Not aggressive at all. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and has everything you will need. Outside is an animal lovers paradise, we saw roe deer, pheasants galore, and so many birds. Feeding the birds is very easy, as they have a system set up to make it so. The reward is many hours watching who comes! They have bluebell woods right nearby, and some amazing places to visit , just walking from their house, yet it is an easy drive into Cupar to get supplies. We highly recommend this sit and hope to return later this year or next year.
