Great sit with Aliza and Steve's lovely animals. I enjoyed taking care of them in their comfortable flat. Lovely little Kitsy dog, and Poppy cat, a bit distant to start with but who became friendly and loved cuddles at the end. I returned a second time. Basel's proximity was convenient, well served by trains. A public swimming-pool nearby was very convenient too.
Aliza and Steve have moved, but I'm sure I'll visit them again, as I have kept contact with them....

Meryl
Guiness is a such a love. Unlike most labs he is not a food hound. He brings you your socks to show he likes you. Your heart will melt. Meryl worried that he would pull on walks. We did not experience that. The house is gorgeous and to be in the centre of San Francisco is ideal for seeing it from the local point of view. We fall in love with every pet we meet and to have them show you their local walks and meet their friends is just magic. Guiness will show you you the authentic side of the Haight district. Meryl and Jack are super people to deal with. Highly recommend if you are lucky enough to sit this home and Guiness .

Dawn
It was a fabulous experience!!!
Dawn was very nice and clear with the instructions about her pets. She and her husband were very kind and they welcomed us from the first moment.
Her cats were so sweet!! Lorelai would sleep with us every night. Willow was very shy but would come out at night, to play with the others. Earl looks very serious but is very kind and always purring. Sully enjoys the catio very much, but in the evening he also would come in and get some head scratching. It also was nice to see how Soukie was only waiting for the dogs to jump on the couch to cuddle with them
The dogs were lovely and so goofy, literally wetting our faces with their tongues. Ah, they love treats!
The hens and roosters were great, they seemed to enjoy when we were singing, while they were eating their grain. Daily eggs for breakfast, recollected by ourselves was great, too.
Best of all was Joel the mini pig. He loved his snacks, and always was very excited to go outside.
It was a great experience, we totally recommend this sit for people looking for some quiet, and a lot of nature. Thank you very much!

Darren and paddington are awesome!!! First of all Darren Is a great guy and everything I needed to know he showed me beforehand. Paddington is super super easy to care for and he's such a great dog! As you may know Chicago is a big walking city and he keeps up no problem at all. He will walk all day long! He's fairly independent but also loves to just hang out and cuddle on the couch if you watching TV. Darrens place is located In a perfect spot with a nice view of the city but less than a mile walk to Michigan Ave. The location is perfect perfect perfect. Overall of you ever get to sit for Darren and watch Paddington take it! I would again in a heartbeat!!!! Thanks Darren!

Caroline
What a wonderful experience sitting for Caroline and her very chilled big boy Kenzo in her garden apartment in Brooklyn NY, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! The apartment was quiet and comfortable, with a great shower, and had everything one would need to cook -- and a great restaurant selection if inclined to eat out. Walking Kenzo in the area was safe and easy, with a nice dog park a half mile away. If you are considering house/dog sitting for Caroline and Kenzo don't hesitate to apply!

Michael
This was my second sit through this site and Michael and Adrienne were great to work with. Michael left detailed instruction (we also went over things in person prior to the stay) so it was all quite easy to care for the cats. Their loft is beautiful and the 3 cats are all wonderful. Friendly and cuddly and super chill cats, all of them. The boys will often greet you at the door when you get home! They will sleep on the bed with you at times so be comfortable and welcoming of that situation. Frosty's medication is actually quite easy and fast to give him and he takes those shots like a champ!! The apartment is massive and open and airy, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is a dream! Not to mention the buildings amenities like the gym, pool & sauna were just an added bonus! I work from home a lot and was very comfortable working at their dining table, it's big so I was able to spread out and get a lot of work done! There are grocery stores nearby and some bars within walking distance and it is very close to the train so the location is convenient to get to Manhattan and Brooklyn. Would definitely recommend sitting for them to anyone who loves cats :)
