Fantastic house sit! Dalice was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Looking after Juno and Bodhi was a treat. The house is in a beautiful area with plenty to explore and just a short drive to queenstown. Highly reccomend to any house sitters out there.
If you’re looking for a cozy home with cute, gentle dogs and a independent yet lap-loving snuggly cat, this is the housesit for you! Brenda and Mark made my son and I very welcome. Our room was quiet and cozy, and the forest view from the window was lovely to wake up to. Smokey is easy to please - scratch behind her ears when she tells you and provide a lap for her to sit on. Magic and Sage are sweet sisters and warmed up to me after a few hours. They were very easy to care for. It was very relaxing to hang out in the living room and watching Netflix - all five of us! We had a great time and would certainly come again!
Great place! Perfect for getting away from the city and enjoying picturesque views. Logan and Helen were very helpful whenever I needed anything. Wapi is a sweet dog full of energy.
This was an enjoyable sit. Rosie’s a lovely Kitty, very easy going and no problem to take care of. She enjoys people company for sure and she’ll usually be with you if you’re in the kitchen or the lounge. Mealtimes were nice and easy (morning and evening) and if Rosie’s been having a nap elsewhere other than where you are she’ll appear and let you know its time. She does go outside as well in the back garden but doesn’t wander far. The location is great. It’s easy walking distance from the main Bristol shopping area so there’s anything you need no more than 20’ walk away. Reg kindly sorted out a temporary residents parking permit for me so I could park my car close to the house. If you prefer to come by public transport, the bus and coach station and the mega bus stop are just 10’ walk from the house or by rail Bristol Temple Meads station is 30’ by foot or 14’ by taxi. The house itself has plenty of space. It has a well-equipped basement kitchen diner with laundry facilities. If you’re a home worker like me, the Wi-Fi has good connectivity from anywhere in the house. The ensuite bedroom you stay in is spacious and is on the 3rd floor and has a panoramic view of the city and it also has a work desk. Reg was so easy to get on with and very welcoming and communicated with me promptly. He was ready to answer any Q’s I had throughout the sit. This is ***** from me. A sit I’d highly recommend and one which I’d like to do again. Richard
We spent a little over two weeks caring for two very good-natured ponies and two great dogs. Mrytle the lab is beautiful and loves being up close and personal, Sybil the wire-haired Dash loves being on your lap in the evening too. She is quite the character and an excellent guard dog. She needed to have eye ointment administered 3x daily and submitted without any fuss at all - most dogs would not be that accommodating. The excellent nature of Myrtle and Sybil is a testament to their owners. The family are lovely as is the home set in acres of woodland and fields - plenty of roaming to be had , then some with the New Forest on the doorstep and coastline just a few miles south. Juliet provided a good set of instructions that covered everything with back up phone numbers and 'go to' people if required - it was all fuss free and easy to step into. We would most definitely recommend this sit and would certainly return again.
Loved this sit! Super cozy and easy to feel at home with these adorable kittens! Zuki takes a little to warm up but once she does she’s very playful and if your lucky you’ll get some biscuit making! Garbanzo is a blast to play fetch with, he even brings it back! And Zoey is the cutest icing on the cake, she the most beautiful and sweetest chinchilla you’ll ever see. Megan and Asher are warm, a breeze to communicate with and gave me great restaurant recommendations! The neighborhood is one of the best in Oakland. Highly recommended this sit!
