Shelby was great at communicating with us prior to her sit, despite her being in NZ when we organised the arrangements. She was polite, helpful and friendly. When we met she was happy and positive. Shelby stayed with us the night before we went away and she was friendly and positive with Ali, which was our main priority. During our holiday, Shelby updated us with messages and photos each day which was great. I would recommend Shelby without hesitation.
We were lucky enough to be contacted by Kenny and Barbara even though we posted with short notice before we had to go away for a long weekend to visit family. They were immediately open, friendly and easy to talk to. They were also wonderfully flexible about timings / dates - so we agreed for them to come stay the night before to get familiar with our house and pets before we had to leave early the next morning. So it was lovely to have new guests to meet and get to know over dinner the night before we went away and gave us extra reassurance that our pets would be well looked after while we were away. They were very interested in how to best care for our pets and where everything was and which walks Luna likes best. They were also super generous with their time - including giving us a lift to the train station in the morning and attempting to recharge our electric car while we were away (even though it didn’t go quite to plan lol!). Plus planted a couple of plants for me in my garden that I hadn’t quite got to. So sweet! And plants doing great :) We came back to a perfectly tidy house including washed bed clothes and towels. And they even watered our indoor plants and garden while we were away. We thank them very much for looking after our home and pets so wonderfully!
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
