Dog Sitters in Aurora, IL

What can I say? I feel so fortunate to have matched up with Kris and she set the bar high! Kris came for three days, two nights. She asked if she could come with a girlfriend for a relaxing reunion with a girlfriend since she was in the area with her husband visiting their son in SF. It sounded like a fair trade. Kris shared she had a large Great Dane so large strong dogs weren't a concern for her. She sent photos of Cal and Prim on the beach, on walks and in the shower. She was able to extend her stay for me since our flight was delayed and let me know she stayed long and took the pups on an evening walk and fed them their Sunday dinner. The towels and sheets she used were washed, dried AND folded and there was a lovely note on the counter welcoming me home. If I could, I would plan another trip around Kris's next visit! I can't recommend her enough! Thank you Kris!

Margo & Richard were really great sitters. They arrived promptly, made instant friends with Pippin & Hastings, asked all the right questions & gave me great confidence straight away. While we were away they kept in touch with lots of funny photos & comments about the dogs & checked when Hastings had a bit of an upset tummy. On our return I found a beautifully tidy & clean house & happy dogs. I couldn't have wished for more. Thank you.

Tim and his sons were amazing houseguests. They took great care of my pups and treated my home as if it were their own. Definitely recommend.

What a joy and an honor it was to have Phyllis and Jerry care for my home and my pets. I could write an epistle to describe in detail how much they did and how well they accomplished each responsibility. Our correspondence began many months ahead of my posted dates. Throughout this time, we stayed connected, and as we got closer, we shared more details about my home and care for the pets. Response time was prompt, friendly and courteous. They were incredibly flexible and understanding when I had to adjust my flight time and date. They arrived early on my departure day so we could have time for orientation, lunch, and conversation. Phyllis and Jerry were meticulous in following the instructions I left for cat and home care. They were dedicated to assuring me that things at home were going well by sending pictures of the cats included with special vignettes. They were respectful of my home and took great care of everything as if it were their own. For example, when the hose unexpectedly burst in the back yard on a hot day, they carried water in a bucket to my young Arbor Vitae trees. They are the kind of people who go the “extra mile” based on their high values and elevated work ethics. When I returned home, everything was glistening and spotless. The carpets had been vacuumed, the laundry completed, the dishwasher and waste baskets emptied, the stove shined, and the kitty litter was scooped and cleaned. My fur babies were happy and relaxed, an indication that they had excellent care while I was away. A delightful surprise was the colorful Autumn gift basket and note they left on the counter. I highly recommend Phyllis and Jerry in every way. They exceeded my expectations and fulfilled every task. They are friendly, enthusiastic, and fun to be around, and both have had a wide variety of experiences that translate into good common sense and wise decisions. It was truly my privilege to have the opportunity to meet them and to benefit from all they had to offer me, my home, and my cats.

This was only our second sit so we are still figuring out how things work. We reached out to Suzanne and Jim about sitting after other applicants had declined for various reasons. We also recruited our first sitter last year. They were positive and willing to make the long trip west to us and interested in exploring the area. Lola was well cared for during their stay which was the most important thing. As in other reviews, some cleaning tasks did not get completed.

Adrienne and Patricia were a perfect match for us! They took amazing care of Rosie and our home. The house was spotless and Rosie was very happy! Sweet touches like flowers yummy cookies were above and beyond.

Shannon was perfect for a long weekend sit with my dog Lou. Great communication before and during the sit and she was flexible when my departure plans changed sort of last minute. Lou seemed happy and well cared for when I got home :)

Jody and Michael were a pleasure to communicate with prior to and during the sit. They asked about communication preferences and reached out when they had questions about anything...especially when some of the instructions I left were not clear. They updated us on Diablo on the frequency we had agreed upon and he seemed well cared for. It was slightly disappointing to arrive home and find the downstairs wood floor fairly dirty with dusty/muddy footprints, partially made up for by having sheets and towels laundered and clean.

Simply amazing! Lisa was wonderful and cannot say enough about her. She was very active with our dog and even taught her new tricks, something that we haven’t even been able to do. When Lisa left, our dog would just sit in her room and wait for her to come back (which we definitely will have for our next trip). Lisa did great with our many plants, and left the house in great shape. She was very communicative and sent pictures all the time of walks and the good times she had with our dog. You can tell that she cared so much for the dog, house and of us. Thank you Lisa!

Ralph and Barb were great sitters. They loved Finn, gave him plenty of exercise and attention, and were exceptional home sitters. We'd welcome them back any time. They were clear communicators, attentive, and fast to respond to answer or ask any questions. So we were able to enjoy our time away without any cares or concerns. Laura and Scott were the best pet sitters you could ask for! Communication was great from the time the sit was confirmed and thru out the sit. Laura sent me daily photos and texts. They did everything we asked and then more! Highly recommend and hope that they will come back and do another sit for us sometime!

My dog Teddy loved being with Theresa. She was organized, self-sufficient, and very personable. Even though she does online Yoga via Zoom 4 days a week, she took plenty of time to throw Teddy his beloved balls, snuggle and go on walks. She sent me updates and pictures. Teddy and I would definitely love to have Theresa come visit again.
