We had a wonderful time house sitting for Tina and looking after her wonderful labradors Winnie and Mouse. The house was really comfortable and we had a great time exploring the beautiful Lake District for 2 weeks - with the added joy of Winnie and Mouse's company. They are a dream on walks and come back as soon as you call them. They are almost impossible to tire out but we nearly managed it a couple of times. They are such good company and so loving..we miss them now! Thanks for having us Tina. 🙏
We thoroughly enjoyed this sit! We met Katie and Kara briefly before they left for the airport and found them both to be gracious and welcoming. We did a walkthrough and this, coupled with their comprehensive welcome guide, left us feeling well prepared. They were also very responsive via text when any questions arose. Their modern apartment was cozy, clean and comfortable with gorgeous views from every window. We took full advantage of their stellar location right in the heart of downtown Tacoma, a block from beautiful Wright Park and within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The stars of this sit, of course, were Ellie and Charlie! Two very different personalities but they both charmed us in their own ways. Ellie loves a good play session while also enjoying a warm lap. Charlie is more reserved and it was always a pleasure to have him join us in the living room. These visits became more frequent and longer in duration as he warmed up to us. We miss them both already and would happily do this sit again!
Laura and Vic were gracious home owners and we had a great time sitting Kara & Bradley. Their home is located in The Villages which is a world of its own, we loved exploring around in the golf cart and walking around. Their home is very welcoming, has everything you could possibly need and an amazing screen to watch football on :) Bradley and Kara are so sweet, very loving and great cuddlers - they took a piece of our hearts. This was a great housesit and we would not hesitate to return if our calendars aligned. Thanks for having us Laura & Vic!
Loved staying at Ruth’s place it was such an easy and wonderful experience. Her cats Amber and Arthur are a pleasure to look after and I will miss their company 🙂 The house is cosy in a great location with a lovely garden. Would definitely recommend and thanks for having me! Grace
Tesla is such a cool little kitty. It was a real pleasure looking after her. Any sitter will be extremely lucky to meet Tesla and spend time with her, she is awesome! Such a character. You need to meet Tesla to fully understand :) Tesla is incredibly affectionate and was purring non-stop the whole time. She loves being around people and held up like a baby. Tesla never hung out in another room, she was always by my side keeping me company. She slept with me and purred all night long. Tesla is really easy to take care of. Michael is a very chilled host as well. Communication with him was very effective, instructions provided were super clear. The apartment is very spacious, has a lot of natural light, and located right next to the R train, as well as Blink Fitness gym. I was really sad to say goodbye to Tesla and hope to see her again.
I had a delightful time sitting for Shelley and Jacob and spending time with Churro and Lukin. They provided a comfortable, safe home and detailed instructions for everything, including a video of Jacob teaching sitters how to give meds to Lukin and an extensive manual that I referred to a number of times! Churro and Lukin are well-behaved and so sweet! I highly recommend sitting for this lovely family!
