What a gorgeous home and beautiful garden with great walkability. We had a wonderful time at Trish's place and she made us feel very welcome. Her instructions were great and included maps with lots of walks in the local area, you can also walk to the local restaurants. Sonny Bill is an affectionate cat with lots character and a huge appetite, we really enjoyed his company. It was a privilege housesitting and we count ourselves very lucky to have Trish choose us.

Vicky and I have just finished a wonderful house sit for Lucy and Freddie. We had the pleasure of a sunny week with their two dogs, Frodo and Skyla. They are great characters and so easy to spend time with. We stayed in their extremely comfortable and very well organised home in the Berkshire countryside, had great walks in the woodlands nearby and really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the location , which was a real treat. We were given a hand-over before the sit began and also handed excellent written information about the house and pets. We were made to feel totally at home and would thoroughly recommend as first class hosts.

Shirley is incredibly organized and I had everything I needed for a wonderful stay among the olive groves in her lovely home. You'll definitely need a car for visiting nearby towns and sites. I appreciated how efficiently Shirley ran her home. The three dogs Santa, Lily and Molly were very affectionate, fun and spirited. There were a few behavioral problems; for example, I was usually greeted every morning by poo and pee on the kitchen floor, despite giving them long periods outside before bed. They can be a little sneaky and pushy in trying to get out of their inner pen. Molly, the youngest, is particularly good at this! I loved curling up in front of the fire in the evenings with the dogs always close by and wanting to cuddle. All in all, the dogs are very sweet and are okay being left during the day in their outdoor pen so you can go off and explore neighboring villages of Andalusia. The horses are older and their care is straightforward, no problems whatsoever with them. This would be a perfect sit for someone who values privacy and quiet and doesn't mind a fair bit of work. Perhaps best for a couple, although Shirley manages it all on her own!"

Thanks again, I really appreciate TrustedHousesitters.com and all the wonderful people I've met doing housesits.

Sincerely,
Ann.

I think all you need to know about how much I enjoyed my stay at Carolyn's place in the stunningly beautiful Alpujarras region of Andalucia is that I'm going back again in September! If I could have gone back sooner, I would have done! Carolyn has built a very cute cottage in the hills and populated it with a gorgeous furry family of mostly rescued dogs, cats and horses. Like all animals, they have their individual quirks and personalities and it was so much fun getting to know and love them all. Carolyn herself is a delightful, caring person and, if you 'get' animals the way she does, you're bound to love her. The cottage has no near neighbours but it's only a 5 minute walk down a donkey track into the well-served village. If you enjoy your own company and also enjoy the daily routine involved in taking care of 10 or so animals (and it does take quite a while), then you should be very happy. Personally speaking, as a writer, I could happily have spent the rest of my days there and I just can't wait to return in September...

Our stay at Rachel’s was absolutely perfect!
The whole family is very friendly and they explained everything to us before leaving.
She has the most beautiful and comfortable house, with everything you need in it,and the dogs are really sweet and loving, easy to take care of,there is also a big field to walk the dogs close to the house, and a store in a 5 minute walk that has all the food you need. Also, in a 30 minute easy walk tou can get to Ashby, a nice city with lots of shops.

This was a wonderful opportunity. Sula is the sweetest, she is so well behaved. I had so much fun with her. The home is wonderful, a sanctuary close to downtown & a wonderful path close.
