This is an amazing place to sit. The family is wonderful and Strike and the kitties are so fun and easy to be with. Strike is full of personality and great on walks. He loves other dogs and even spent some time with my friend’s dogs playing and running around. Lulu and Dottie are outside/garage kitties. They’re really sweet and super affectionate. They’re easy to care for and come when they’re called. The house is wonderful and has a beautiful garden in a great location in Santa Cruz. Walkable to the beach and downtown. BONUS! The family happily shares their cruisers and paddle boards. I’d return in a heartbeat.
Right from the get go, Alex and her family were very warm and welcoming. I had the opportunity to meet everyone, including the precious furrry ones prior to accepting the sit. Alex forwarded a detailed schedule including variations for each precious furry one, which made looking after Zoe, Bella, Jazzy and Teddy much easier. Communication was amazing and I had a lot of fun taking Teddy on ‘adventures’. Regardless of where we went, he was loved by other dogs and humans alike. Thank you Alex for trusting me to look after your lovely fur family, it was very special, thank you 🌸
We’ve just returned from Christine’s home in Keswick looking after Bobby her little dog. What a super sit this is. Her comfy flat is right near the town of Keswick with all its outdoor shops bars, and eating places. It’s a great place with always a good vibe about it. She has her home lovely with everything to make your stay there comfortable. The star of the show is of course her delightful, affectionate well behaved Bobby🐶. He’s a true gem and so very easy to care for. We’ve only been home a day but miss him already.!! He’s happy to go anywhere with you and a joy to be with. He adores playing with his toys but very happy to be running with his doggie friends in the morning gathering at Fitz Park across the river. We did quite a lot with him and is quite partial to a paddle (on a long lead of course!) He’s very low maintenance to look after and is great with people and dogs he meets. We highly recommend this sit! Looking forward to our next visit to look after Bobby in December🎄. Thanks Christine for choosing us again and see you in December. Millie and Brenda were such a lovely couple to sit for, they were so friendly and a pleasure to meet. This house is in the beautiful Tintern area, so, lots of history, forest treks and beautiful scenery right on the doorstep. Looking after the tortoises was great fun and we were pleasantly surprised at how responsive they were, between their long winter naps of course! We made good friends with Piti who after initial caution, warmed to us greatly and we enjoyed many a winter night curled up together by the log stove! This is a great sit and highly recommended to anybody. Thanks so much Brenda and Millie, and we hope to return :-D
My daughter and I had a lovely time house and cat sitting at Carly’s house for 4 nights. She was warm and friendly as we arranged the sit, then gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived. She took time to tell us all we needed to know about house and cats before she left, and was also happy to communicate a lot during our stay. The cats are lovely, and Prince Harry was very happy and friendly. Bella was extremely shy, and hid, but we liaised with Carly about this and she reassured us and was very appreciative of our efforts. The house is very nice and easy to stay in comfortably, as well as a restful location. We would love to stay and cat-sit again at some point if we can.
Scooby and Noodle are the sweetest little cuddlebugs. Friendly, low maintenace and great on leash even in busy areas. I miss them already!!! Brent and Natasha were awesome hosts. I had everything I needed and they were happy to answer any questions during the sit. Their apartment is safe with a friendly doorman, spacious, and in a very central location. Close to anything you could want - shops, restaurants, parks, museums! 5/5 would recommend/sit again!
