Donna
What a beautiful piece of the Pacific Northwest to visit. This island is listed as one of the safest places. It also boasts the best gluten free muffins at Blackbird Bakery.
The home is gorgeous with everything well organized. It's full of tasteful decor on a one level house plan.
Donna and Don were very responsive to any questions, concerns or comforts. They know the skills of being excellent hosts and it really made this exchange a delight.
Any concerns were quickly answered or rectified with full compassion and strong integrity.

Tulla is a completely adorable little bundle of muscle. She's just the right companion for anyone who loves an outspoken lady with strong opinions who wears her heart on her sleeve. ♥️
She would rather run free in the yard than get leashed up for a formal walk. As a bully breed, she's very fun to play with in spurts throughout the day. Her variety of facial expressions are superbly entertaining. 😀

The neighborhood dogs drop by to say hello and get treats, which can be a fun surprise during mid day. Mostly it's just one dog, and he's a persistent little guy who is super cute, and small, as well.

It would be a pleasure to be invited back, and I highly recommend this exchange.

Debbie
We loved sitting for Debbie’s kitty menagerie in the countryside of Wetaskiwin County. It was great to meet Debbie before she left for her trip, and we appreciated the tour of her house and plot. Debbie has a lovely house on a big, treed plot with beautiful planting around the house, and a help-yourself vegetable garden …tomatoes and cucumbers whilst we were there.

Her older cats, Sophia and Two Spot were mainly outside because of the time of year but also because she was fostering a mama cat and her 4 kittens who remained inside. Mama and her kitties were the icing on the cake, so entertaining and cute. The kittens would run around playing for a couple of hours and then crash and sleep for 2-3 hours. Even in that week we noticed them getting more adventurous and we were getting used to their different personalities. If only we could have kept at least one for ourselves!

We loved the country setting and although we didn’t get to see much wildlife, we really appreciated the peacefulness and there are also trails through the woods right outside the door. Two Spot or Sophia would usually show up when we were outside and would happily sit on a lap or have a quick stroke.

We would highly recommend this sit, especially if you enjoy the peace and quiet of a country setting.
