Cat Sitters in Avon, IN

Five stars aren't enough. Tracy is a cool cat who jives with the pooches. She is the personification of my most favorite side-effect of this site -- when sitters become your friend. I'd welcome her back in a heartbeat.

Valerie sat for our cat Lechat whilst we were away for a couple of weeks on a family holiday and she was absolutely fantastic. She was great with Lechat and we would definitely recommend Valerie as we would know anyone pets & home would be in good hands! Big thankyou

Tara and Michael were fantastic with Sparky & Joey! Both cats even felt comfortable and happy enough to lie on their backs with their bellies exposed, which is a great sign of trust. Tara and Michael sent photos every day, which I loved, and left the house in great condition. I highly recommend them!

Laura and Michael and their two sons, Samuel and Sebastian, watched our place while we visited our daughter in Portland OR. They arrived the day before we left to get aquatinted with the house and the animals. Our location was convenient for the family because Michael was participating in a seniors track meet at UVA. While we were gone there was an animal emergency which required a trip to the vet for Abby, one of our dogs. Laura kept us informed regularly on the status of Abby which was comforting. We have one challenging young dog (Rosita) who has enough energy for five dogs. Laura and the boys handled her with grace and firm, consistent love. I think, based on pics sent to me, that Samuel and Sebastian bonded well with her. All of our other animals (cats, fish, chickens) were also well looked after. The house was clean and tidy when we returned home and a bottle of wine awaited us on the kitchen table. Laura and Michael have a lovely family. We enjoyed their company and our home will always be open for them. I neglected to ask Michael about his success at the track meet. It was quite a hot week.

Our cats love Gigi. She is a superior communicator. She shares pictures of the cats with us while we are away, which my wife loves. Gigi takes great care of our home as well, which is a nice bonus and unlike other sitters we have used. She's a gem.

Luci did a great job taking care of all my pets while I was away for 8 days. They were happy and stress free and was pleased they had such great company especially over the 4th of July holiday where my one dog can get pretty stressed. Luci did leave the kitchen a bit messy with some unwashed cooking utensils and appliances (baking sheet/air fryer) and found there was a missing plant that may have fallen down but is no longer in my home and was not communicated. I do leave detailed daily checklists in order to cover all the responsibilities that typically ensure smooth and easy care for 4 animals and an old house. However, there was also quite a bit of waste in the yard that should have been picked up daily and my mail had not been brought in. I very much appreciate Luci stepping in last minute to cover my household while I was away and I would have her back with more instructions and on shorter trips with additional clarity on expectations. She made sure my plants were watered and was communicative when having a friend over which I did not mind. She sent frequent updates and pictures of my pets and was overall tidy around the rest of the house and washed her sheets and towels. Overall I feel Luci was very respectful and helpful just not quite the 5 star experience I’ve had with other sitters.

Steve and Laurie were absolutely wonderful. I recommend them highly! During the week they stayed at my house, my four pets were extremely well taken care of. When I got home, I found happy, relaxed pets and a clean, tidy house. Steve and Laurie were kind, friendly, on time, communicative, neat, and basically everything one would like in a housesitter. As for the petsitting part, my dogs pretty much adored them, and so did the cats. While I was gone, I got a photo of the pets each day, which is something I love. When I got home, the beds had been changed and the laundry had been done. Clean sheets and towels...it was like I was still on vacation. Thanks, Steve and Laurie, for taking such good care of my pets and home!

Cynthia was a great sitter! She was very communicative, letting me know when she arrived, if she had questions, and when she left. She also sent me daily updates and pics of my "kids." The cats seemed to warm up to her very quickly, and my house was spotless when I returned. Highly recommend!

Dan and Patty 6 were such a joy to have as sitters. They took great care of Kona and our home, leaving it spotless when we returned. They sent ua updates in thier sit and pictures of Kona havung a blast out and about with them... Our friends at the dog park connected with them as well. ... We wouldn't hesitate to have them back.

We were very happy with Hannah as our dog sitter! She took the time to come and meet us beforehand, ensuring she was familiar with our dogs’ routines and needs. She was also very flexible and accommodating to our travel schedule. Our dogs were happy and well taken care of and our house was in perfect shape when we returned. We highly recommend Hannah to anyone looking for a responsible and caring dog sitter.

Rae was absolutely fantastic. The communication prior to the sit and during the sit was excellent, I received daily updates and pictures/videos of my cats which was lovely! Rae was tidy and left my apartment even cleaner than when she arrived. My two cats were so content when I got home, they seemed to have loved their week with Rae. I would 100% have Rae sit for me again and can’t recommend her enough!
