A fabulous sit. Spoon is such a delight. Not overly affectionate but likes you to be around. She is truely well loved. Mary Beths home is in a great location not far from central city. Great cafes, restaurants and all you need in the area. We loved Portland. Great city to explore. Make sure you go to Powells Book Store. Loved the districts in city central. The house is very comfortable with your own ensuite. Mary Beth is a great host. Felt very welcomed. Thank you!
It was a pleasure to dog sit Winston and watch over Tanja’s home. Winston was a very easy dog to care for and slept most of the day. Tanja was very welcoming and great with communication. Tanja’s home was cozy, clean, and in the perfect location in NYC. Central Park is less than half a block away and it was enjoyable to walk Winston in the park in the mornings. Museums, Lincoln center, great restaurants and markets were close by. The area was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Very thankful for the opportunity to stay in the Upper West Side of NYC.
Our stay was wonderful all around. We felt very welcome and comfortable. There was a large monitor for my laptop, not to mention a pool table. We also loved the sun room and easy access to letting Bogey in and out of the backyard. Bogey is a lovely dog, very well trained and a pleasure to take care of. During walks there are certain dogs he wants to bark at but if you go off to the side and have him sit he stays calm. He can walk at your side through the neighborhoods and wait until the park or the trail to slow down and investigate things. The 12 days went by all too quickly.
Joey the dog was a lovely dog, well behaved, friendly and affectionate. The house was nice and comfortable with good views and in a great position for lots of pretty walks around the area. I met Becky and her children before the sit and they were also lovely. They left me some treats for while I stayed there which was very sweet. I recommend!
We had the pleasure of housesitting for Mazni and Jason and had a wonderful experience. Although we didn't meet Mazni, Jason was extremely friendly and welcoming, and even greeted us with some delicious local sweets as a thoughtful gesture. He also provided us with some great recommendations for local towns to visit, which we really appreciated. Mo was an absolute joy to be around. He was very friendly and affectionate, and followed us around everywhere we went. He is still young and has a lot of energy to play. We really enjoyed his company and felt lucky to have him as our companion during our stay. One of the highlights of the flat was the fireplace, which we used to make the space feel warm and cozy. It really added to the overall atmosphere of the flat and made our stay enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend Mazni and Jason's home to anyone. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
We thoroughly enjoyed our sit at Hannah and David's. They were very gracious, hosting us and making us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. Hannah drove us around the area and David took us on a lovely long walk so we could get to know Max and where he likes to go. And Max was a delight--calm, well-mannered, and loves his routines. He had no problem telling us what he wanted and when, and he was so easy to care for. He's quite a character and we miss him! We even had his Labrador friend Digby with us for a while, and they got along famously and kept us on the go. There are also some very kind neighbours who were always ready to assist, and even had us over for dinner one evening. We were only sorry to have to leave before Hannah and David's delayed return. We would definitely recommend this sit. Anyone lucky enough to get the chance will be rewarded with the company of a loving Labrador who lives in a beautiful home in an interesting area to explore.
