We absolutely loved staying in Sarah’s fabulous home. The house was just as described with a a particularly lovely garden. What we loved even more was caring for Jackson, Maebh and Ialach! They each had their own little personalities and we loved snuggling with them on the couch. We were also tasked with giving some medication, which they were great at. Sarah left a very comprehensive welcome guide with all information needed about the house and pets and had great communication throughout. We would happily sit here again!
Madeline is a beautiful well behaved and affectionate dog. We built up a rapport fairly quickly and it was an absolute pleasure looking after her. Instructions for her care were easily followed. A few things were not so ok with the sit. The bathroom had not been cleaned and had used towels on the rail. Luckily I had taken my own towel. I discovered clean towels on a massage table in another room a few days later. Tea towels left in the kitchen were not clean. The extra quilt on the bed (much needed) did not have a clean cover on it. I understand the owner had to leave in a rush that morning and this may have been an oversight. In all other aspects the sit was good. The location is amazing. Umina has a village like feel with some lovely shops and a great beach. It's proximity to the neighbouring village of Ettalong with it's boutique shops and cafes, the famous Galleria and Cinema Paradiso is a bonus.
Alessia and Alvin are wonderful people. Once we had our video call, I could sense an open and hospitable communication. Things were set up easily and very correct. They were also very accommodating to me arriving a day sooner. Fritzi is the most wonderful sweet kitty. He is attached to attention so it's really nice to hang out with him because he loves his cuddles. He will sleep with you in the bed and it's the cutest thing ever. He would greet me at the front door when I came in and it would instantly put a smile on my face! I honestly have been missing him daily since my sit 😅 The appartment has everything you will ever need for your stay it. It is very well equipped and decorated. The location is amazing, right in Friedrichshain and close to restaurants, bars, markets and the public transport that will take you anywhere in the city. I highly recommend Alessia and Alvin, they are genuinely wonderful people. We got to spend time on my last day and it was really fun to have that little quality time with them. I would go back there anytime!
We had a wonderful time! The communication with Chiara was very easy and laid-back. She got so many recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Angora was super sweet! She was very easy to walk and loved to snuffle everthing that came close to her nose :) she followed us everwhere and showed us when it was time to snuggle and when to play, such an angel. The location of the appartment is very central and safe! The apartment itself is beautiful furnished and has a calm vibe, such as her owner. The days were flying by. Thank you for this amazing sit, we would love to see them both again :)
Really enjoyed my sit for Manu & Delphine in Palo Alto. Kimi is so sweet. She’s a bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is very chill as well. Loved the neighborhood! It’s a very nice area and great for walks with Kimi. I would definitely recommend sitting for Manu & Delphine.
Bailey is one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met and Lauren & Mike are incredibly welcoming! I had a fabulous time in Pittsburgh taking Bailey to the park, exploring museums and restaurants on my own, and working from home in the beautiful sunroom. This sit could not have been better!
