Whitney & John were great sitters for our pets and home! They picked up a long sit with us on semi-short notice for their first sit on zeewoi, and everything went so smoothly. Whitney is a clear communicator and came out a day early to meet us and our pets. We were many time zones away while traveling, so communication got tricky once we left, but we got pictures and updates when we could, and Whitney & John were very self-sufficient. Our pets were content and relaxed when we returned, and our home was tidy. Zora, our dog, got to go on different adventures, and they even dealt with an impromptu mud soak with a river wash (her favorite). We recommend this couple as reliable sitters and good humans, and hope that we will cross path again in the future!

Natto and Mochi were such a pleasure to sit for. Both are very loving cats but such different personalities too.
And Oon & Cheng are so lovely too. Cheng is a master latte maker and very kindly greeted us with one as a welcome. Oon made videos and provided a detailed guide for everything. They are both so friendly and welcoming. Would sit for this lovely family again any time.

It was a delight taking care of Don and Marilyn's beloved Daisy, a well-trained 11-year old Newfie who always greeted us upon our return. Although she sleeps a lot, it was fun to watch her gallop down the hallway to eat her meals on the front porch. She responded well to us during our 2-week stay on a lovely property.

Ladysmith has a lot to offer for nature lovers and those who love a good cinnamon bun, as long as you are willing to wait in line with the locals. If you like small towns, you will enjoy this area. We had the opportunity to visit Chemainus, Crofton, Duncan and Cedar, all with something special to enjoy.

Don and Marilyn were gracious hosts, taking the time to teach us Daisy's daily routines while providing time for us to get to know them over delicious meals and interesting conversations. If you love the ocean and serene views, this is the place for you.

Thanks Marilyn and Don for providing a well-equipped and comfortable home for us. A special thanks to Daisy who did a fine job of supervising us in the kitchen.

Nigel
I thoroughly enjoyed sitting with sweet Hettie and cuddly Sid in their beautiful home in Stow-on-the-Wold. Nigel is an excellent communicator, responding to my many questions quickly.

The house has a wonderful kitchen if you like to cook. Nigel has everything you will need including an immersion blender! There is a spacious lounge where Sid will join you for an evening of TV watching on the big screen TV. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Sid and Hettie are a study in opposites. Sid likes to spend almost all of his time outside, even on a rainy day. Hettie will venture out only if it is sunny and only for a few minutes. When inside, Sid will cuddle up with you if you sit down. Hettie sleeps upstairs most of the time, but will join you in the kitchen to sleep on the small sofa while you cook. She loves head pats and chin scratches, but do not touch her back!

Stow is small, but has a lot to offer. My favorites: The Old Bakery Tearoom and the New England Coffee Co. with comfy seating upstairs, both on Digbeth St.; and Greedy's Fish & Chips. There is a Chinese takeaway (Jade Garden) which is cash only. St. Edward's Church is a must see. Roam the streets for beautiful architecture. Wait until evening when the tourists have left to get great photographs.

If you don't have a car, you can use the local bus service. See pulhamscoaches.com. The 801 bus will take you to Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and others for £2.

I highly recommend this sit.

Sandra is a wonderful and generous host. She has a beautifully decorated, super clean, and comfortable home in a great location in Madison.

Aloysha and Ivan are so friendly and fun! They both like to spend some time each day outside and will let you know when they want to go out. When they were inside they like lots of attention - so cuddly and loving! I miss them already!
