Cat Sitters in Ayr

Joanna and Patrick were super sitters for our three felines with rather complicated food and meds regimens. They were amenable to coming in a day early for thorough orientation (house systems and operations as well as feline introductions and care instructions), but they had left before we got home. No problem, as we had a virtual post-sit debrief. Joanna and Patrick reported that the cats, even the paranoid old feline lady, had adjusted quickly and acted normally while we were gone. Certainly, when we walked in, the girls and boy were relaxed and calm, acting as though we had only been gone for a few hours. Just as delightful was to come home to a neat house and a freshly made bed for us to hop into after a day of travel. Lovely! I would definitely contact Joanna and Patrick again in the future, but I suspect they will be in high demand.

Ted was wonderful. He was very easy to deal with and kept us up to date all through the time we were away. The trip threw us a couple of curves and Ted was gracious and accommodating with some unexpected adjustments. Shilo was looked after very well. We think he misses Ted! On top of this, we came back to our house with it looking immaculate. We highly recommend Ted and hope he will be able to look after Shilo again some time in the future. Our minds were at ease and we were able to have a wonderful time away without worrying about Shilo, just missing him.

Olivia has sat with our doggos twice now and we couldn't be more pleased. She is loving yet firm with our girls - and one of them is rather "enthusiastic" so firm with that one is such a benefit! Olivia got to know the neighbours through dog visits and everyone of of them says Olivia is great! Not only were the dogs well looked after, the house was in great shape when we returned. We feel blessed to have found Olivia to look after our dogs and our home!

Sarah and John looked after Della and our home for a 2nd time. All went well. Sarah kept in touch and sent pictures. Our Della has a new friend. What a wonderful feeling to go away and know your pet and home are in such capable hands. Bob & Cora McDonald

Kim and Walt were amazing. They stopped by early so I could show them the house and they could meet Finn. They were always immediately responsive to texts, and they sent me Google albums, with Finn pictures, every day. I had asked for Finn to not be left alone for more than 4-5 hours, and they were extremely conscientious of that. They went to the dog park every night, and I heard from all my dog park friends how great they were! Arrived home to a clean house. They washed my sheets and made my bed. And what a surprise to find fresh flowers and a really nice note. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kim and Walt to take care of your pets/ house. I really hope to see them again next time they are in the area. And I know Finn would love that too!

Carol Ann and her daughter, Holly, were great! From the very beginning, Carol Ann was organized, responsive, and clearly passionate about animals! She provided a detailed description of herself and her daughter and their plans for visiting the area. It was clear from the beginning that carrying for our 4 dogs would be her top priority. She was confident and not at all concerned with watching 4 dogs or that 1 of them has anxiety and needs slower introductions. They brought unneeded, but adorable, gifts of Canadian treats and arrived in plenty of time for us to feel comfortable with them before we departed. They provided daily updates and provided a sound therapy for our dogs that Carol Ann specializes in. Upon returning, our house was spotless and the dogs were all happy and calm! We'd recommend Carol Ann and Holly for any petsitting situation!

I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my home and pets, Selkie and Puff, to Jonathan while I was out of town. It's not always easy to hand over the keys to one's sanctuary, especially with pets that are more like family, but with Jonathan, I had no concerns. Jonathan has a natural ability to connect with animals, and both of mine miss him terribly! Throughout my time away, Jonathan was proactive in his communication, sending me occasional photos and updates, ensuring I was well-informed without overwhelming me. My house was returned to me in immaculate condition. It was evident that Jonathan respects the spaces he's entrusted with and goes above and beyond to maintain them. There's something to be said about returning to a home that feels just as you left it, if not better. If you're seeking a housesitter who is both attentive to your pets' needs and respectful of your home, Jonathan is an excellent choice! His care and professionalism stand out, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone in need of such services!

Nathan was a fantastic sitter from start to end. He communicated well before the sit and came over to meet the animals and us in person. The animals were happy with Mal even showing her bellly which she only does when really comfortable. I would have Nathan back anytime.

Amy and Darryl recently watched our dog, Theo for a full week while we were on an international trip, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care they provided! They ensured Theo received all his meds and prescription food on schedule, which was a huge relief for us. They were responsive, sending us regular updates and photos of Theo, which made us feel confident that he was in great hands. On the first night of their sit, our apartment AC unit broke (during a heat wave, no less), but Amy and Darryl handled the situation with generous understanding and patience. We put them up in a hotel until a replacement AC unit could be installed 2 days later; they managed to move Theo, his meds/food, and their belongings back and forth from the hotel. They took great care of our home — everything was clean and tidy upon our return. We were especially touched by their kind note and the sweet gift they left upon their departure. We would absolutely recommend Amy and Darryl to anyone looking for reliable, caring pet sitters, and we hope they can sit for Theo again in the future!

Candy was INCREDIBLE. From the beginning, she made us feel very comfortable leaving our birds in her care. She came early to meet the birds and learn about our space. Then while we were away she sent photos, videos and voice messages about our birds. She also took great care of our space as well. We would love to have her sit for us anytime. I could not recommend her enough honestly.

This is the second time Amelia sat for me. She’s great with my baby and she puts up with my constant texts updates. Chance likes her and that’s the most important for me. Amelia is always welcome to sit for me and my baby whenever

We have been using zeewoi for a few years now and have lots of experience with the App and sitter selection process. In 2021 we moved to rural northern Ontario and in the fall of 2022 we moved into our new home. We jumped back into the world of zeewoi in 2023 wondering how we would do attracting sitters to our somewhat secluded location. We need not have worried! This summer marked our third posting and first summer posting for our new home, It was a pretty short notice listing and we were not expecting a taker for that reason. With just over a week to go an application came in that had me super excited. Jennifer and Ken seemed like a perfect fit for our home. I was eager to chat with them but I was travelling and not free to connect. Jennifer and Ken were fast and accommodating communicators to set up and then reschedule our video chat as I got home later than anticipated. Once we had that chat I knew that I was right to be excited and offered them the sit right away. Ken and Jennifer bring a wide range of experience that makes them an amazing fit for rural sits. They are concise effective communicators and were very easy to work with to confirm the sit and arrange the fine details. On arrival the dogs took to them immediately. I was able to leave the next morning knowing the dogs and chickens were going to be in very good hands. I got regular updates on how the things were going and it was easy to see how happy the dogs were hanging out with Jennifer and Ken. They also jumped right into chicken care, feeding and watering our fast growing “chicks”. One of the attractions of our property is our forest trail. It can come with challenges though in adverse weather. While we were away there was a high wind event that brought down a few trees and branches. Ken and Jennifer messaged asking about saws and axes and cleared off the trail and our vegetable garden area, going well above and beyond what I would have expected anyone to do. On my return home the house was spotless. The dogs were very very content which tells us how much they enjoyed spending time with Jennifer and Ken. The chickens were also well looked after. We would be happy to have Ken and Jennifer back anytime for another sit. If you are lucky enough to have them apply to look after your home and critters, I highly recommend that you jump on the chance to have them sit for you.
