I really wanted to leave a five star review as I have with every other sitter we've had, as Miriam was very lovely and said she loved our dogs. But the lost house key was a big issue for us. I'll start with the positives: -I had a great first chat with Miriam and was happy to have her at the house; she was pleasant and very flexible to change her arrival by a day when I messed up the dates, so I was grateful for that -She said she regularly took our dogs to the off leash park (which they love) -She left the kitchen and most of the house tidy -The plants were all in good shape -The cat was happy and healthy Less positive: -She lost our house key and seemed a bit cavalier about it; she didn't offer to pay for a replacement key or pay for rekeying the locks (which I now need to do) -She didn't communicate much during the whole sit unless I reached out; I never heard anything about the cat, and I didn't find out until days after that our 8mo puppy had been left unsupervised and uncrated for hours and had eaten an entire tin of liver treats; luckily she didn't get into something more dangerous/toxic -Our dogs were unusually starving when we got home, with both eating multiple servings of food that night (very weird for both of them as they are not big eaters) -There was feces in one toilet that had very likely been there for days; I had to scrub the toilet multiple times -The dirty bed linens were tossed on our bathroom floor -There were many bags of dog poop piled in our front garden -There were two dried puppy pee stains on one dog bed and one on the front door mat (either missed or ignored?) -Almost nothing on the zeewoi post-sit cleaning checklist had been done (I certainly don't expect a professionally cleaned home, but I always hope it to be as clean as I left it) As we've had many great sits previously, this was quite a departure from our normal zeewoi experience. And I'm guessing Miriam was likely overwhelmed with three dogs, as she also had her own puppy with her. But the loss of the house key and unusual intense hunger in both dogs were especially unsettling for us.

Clare was new to Zeewoi with no zeewoi reviews, but she had a lot of great reviews through her work with Rover. She absolutely proved to be worthy of all her high reviews from that site.

We needed to leave early. She arrived early without any issues. We had some specific pet needs. Not an issue. Our dog threw up... not on the dog bed, but on her bed! She cleaned the sheets and was right back to it. Sent pics of the pets daily and left the home in great condition.

Responsible, communicative and affectionate with the pets. Highly recommend.

Shuna
We throughly enjoyed our house/pet sit with Leo for Shuna and David. They both made us feel so welcome. We had a home cooked meal with them our first night. They kindly left groceries to get us started on our sit. Shuna and David are well traveled and we so enjoyed getting to know them better.

They had one of the best homeowners guides we have ever used. Everything we needed to know was in their notebook.

Their home is very comfortable, clean and well organized. We had wonderful sitting areas in the livingroom as well as on their deck outside the kitchen, in the front garden and their pretty summer house.

Leo is such a sweet pup! We love him! He was easy to care for in feeding and grooming. We enjoyed our walks with him through the village and the countryside. At home he liked being with us close or napping in his bed.

Felton is one of our favorite villages in Europe! This was our second stay here and we loved it. The village is a community of friendly and fun people. There is so much to do in the area! Wonderful castles, gardens, historic sites, beaches, pubs and restaurants, icecream parlors and local events. We met and made so many friends! There are concerts, movies and special events nearly every weekend in the village or nearby.

You can walk to a small grocery store, restaurant, pub and local arts and crafts gallery by simply crossing the street!

We would highly recommend this housesit! You will have fun and make friends.

Madame Screepy was a friendly and engaging host. Her Fells Point home, very close to a historic beautiful wharf area of Baltimore, was convenient, cozy, and fun! Screepy was very communicative and a real cuddle kitty throughout our stay. We enjoyed getting to know her and exploring Fells Point.

This was the most amazing experience we had!
Bailey and Bali are the easiest and lovely dogs ever. We had a lot of fun with them at the house and during our walks on a park nearby.
The house is super comfy and has good internet. We could do our online work without any problem. Pook and ULF, the owners, are just amazing people. Made everything to make us feel at home. We really had a good connection with them. They are special and took good care of us while in Chiang Rai. We won some friends for life! Just loved everything. Would be back and sit them again with pleasure!

We had the best experience staying with Maui and Tex. Jessica was so accommodating and gave us a detailed handover which made everything run smoothly. Tex and Maui are both super affectionate and incredibly well trained. The apartment is beautiful and in such a good location, close to the water and also public transport. Would love to stay again!

Angela and Max were excellent hosts and young, beautiful Raven was such a sweetheart!
We had the pleasure of caring for Rae Rae for an amazing two weeks and we enjoyed every second of her company. She is highly energetic and craves attention, but luckily we were free for the holidays and were able to spend valuable time with her. We highly recommend this stay if you enjoy walks and going to the dog park!
Angela's comprehensive guide was immaculate and they set up the guest room for us in advance. Their apartment is incredible, with an unbelievable view of the city and of the Bay Bridge. Though Raven is still in training, she is super responsive to commands (even without treats!) which is a sign of how great of a job Angela is doing in raising her to be well-behaved pup. We would love to return to take care of Raven again in the future so we can make more wonderful memories.

Thank you Angela for entrusting us with Raven's care! Please keep us in mind the next time you need a sitter!

Alexandra
Wonderful. Alex and Michael won the jackpot with Kacey and so did Kacey with her humans. Kacey is the sweetest, most perfect dog. And a real dog, so hold tight to her leash. Their home in Mount Pleasant, a charming neighborhood in DC, is *so quiet* and has everything, including a back upper floor porch looking out over the trees and tops of houses beyond. It’s near a lot of fun eateries on Mt Pleasant Ave and many more places a little further by foot. Kacey’s beloved Rock Creek Park is just around the corner. Alex and Michael are the nicest people, very easy-going, organized, and so easy to communicate with. This was a great sit—highly recommend.
