Definitely a five star sit with one of the sweetest feline companions on the planet to keep me company! Pet parent Ainslee was always prompt with communications, and sent me a series of very helpful videos on where to find everything. The flat is quiet and comfortable, and is in a great part of London, with buses and nearby trains to take you wherever you want to go. Best of all, Beverly is always waiting by the door when you return, to shower you with love and attention! I would love to care for Beverly again. Thank you, Ainslee, for your hospitality!
Marianne left written instructions that were very helpful and caring for the dogs. She also walked us through her home to make sure we knew how everything worked and operated. She asked what we might be interested in visiting while we were there and left us a list and we went to them all ( book stores, pubs, antique stores,etc ). She definitely wanted to make us feel at home. Cocoa and Miles were sweet and smart dogs.
I enjoyed housesitting for Jen in Oakland! Jen is a very nice person and was such a pleasure to communicate with. He kitty Shadow is the sweetest creature, he is so cuddly and adventurous. He wanted to sit next to me or on my lap all the time and never stopped purring. Jen’s house and garden are very comfortable and relaxing. And I loved exploring the area. The Pixar Studios are not too far from Jen’s house. Too bad the security doesn’t let you inside to go see the Steve Jobs Building. I loved the little vegetarian place around the corner, but the Rudy’s Can’t Fail café right next to Pixar Studios stole my heart. Their meatloaf was to die for. In short, I had a lovely time and I highly recommend this sit!
Fantastic dogs, fish, home and dog parents. Extremely welcoming and comfortable. Lovely and relaxing with great country outlook, close to bigger towns and many attractions. Great communication!
Craig and Patti are wonderfully hospitable. They are communicative and provide organized, detailed instruction. Their home is easy to care for, very comfortable, and peaceful. If you’re vacationing and looking for a good spot, there are plenty of great places to eat, drink, and visit within walking distance. The real stars are Maisy and Mac, they are the sweetest! Maisy loves back scratches and sunning in the windows any chance she gets. Mac is a talker and will let you know exactly what he wants, including a clean litter box. He gives the best head rub affection ever. They can get a lil feisty with each other, but it is all in fun. I would sit for this lovely family anytime!
We had a great sit at Greystones. We were welcomed warmly by Debbie and Ryan the day prior to go over the home and to get insight into the care of Covie and Oreo. Covie may look intimidating, but he is a gentle dog who loves a cuddle. Walks best on the lead with a ball in his mouth. He loves off lead on the beach and stays close, and comes back on demand. Oreo the cat prefers to be left alone but will let you know when to be let in or out. Contact with Ryan was easy throughout the sit and responded quickly to questions etc. The home is very comfortable and walking distance to the village, train and grocery store. We would highly recommend house and pet sitting for Ryan and Debbie.
