Bert and Mary were kind, generous, and welcoming. We had pizza with them and met the neighbors the night before they left. We loved the view of the trees, natural light, quiet neighborhood, and friendly neighbors. The house is convenient to everything you might need. The St. John riverwalk and the beach is less than 30 minutes away. The highlight was the adorable playful cats. Nadia is normally very aloof, but she warmed up to both of us very quickly and loved to be petted. Cassie is the baby. She is so little, cute, and curious. She would get the zoomies and then go to sleep. She loved to hang out behind Brent's computer while he was on it. Natasha is the boss and she likes to observe what is going on. She started sleeping under our bed and eventually joined us on the bed. She also liked to watch TV with us and loved her purr time pets. She has a sweet little meow and would bring you her toys. All three enjoyed some supervised time in the catio outside. We would not hesitate to sit for Bert and Mary again.
We had a lovely time with Skye in Amsterdam. Skye has a very gentle character. She showed us her neighborhood and we met some of her dog friends. We also had the opportunity to do some siteseeing. We could use the bikes of the familiy. The communication with Angie and Alexander went very well. The house is near the center of Amsterdam in a very quiet street but also in a lively and nice part of the city. All in all a very positive experience. We recommend this sit!

Ollie (my dog) and I absolutely loved sitting Mr. Pluto for Nora and Evan! Their house is absolutely wonderful, in a gem of a neighborhood in Portland with beautiful shade, wonderful and comfortable amenities - I mean, a sauna!? - and such sweet, responsive people! Pluto stole the show and our hearts (Ollies and mine) immediately. He's a sweet, playful, all-around good boy who makes you feel special when he puts his paw on you (as if he's knighting you). We all had so much fun checking out nearby hikes and parks nearby with lots of off-leash time. Ollie and I missed him immediately upon leaving. I only got to spend a few days with this sweet boy, but would love to come back and sit for him again and again. If you're lucky enough to get chosen for a sit with him, you'll find the best hiking and cuddling friend in him :).
I feel a fond pang as I write, just thinking of the idyllic time spent at Jessica's wonderful home with Seni and Zozo and Orion. The dogs gave me such a warm, wagging welcome that I felt instantly at home and even when I popped to scenic Sedona and downtown Flagstaff, I couldn't wait to get back to them! The most treasured time was spent either in the tranquil garden, walking the varied trails of Mount Elden or reading on the sofa with furry, snoozing bodies keeping me company. Orion may be 18 but looks like a kitten and has a hilarious personality. Zozo's zoomies around the garden were an energizing treat and Seni's wise gaze lingers on! I am so grateful to have had this experience. Jessica was so kind and considerate and always quick to respond to my daily updates. I highly recommend this sit.
I had a lovely week looking after Mia. The house is beautiful and a very comfortable space to spend time and live in. The surrounding area is beautiful! Mia is a very sweet and affectionate cat. Tony and Trish were very accommodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend this housesit.
