Staying at Ed & Gayna's lovely place and taking care of gorgeous Daisy was an absolute delight! Daisy is a calm and sweet dog who loves being close to people and getting treats after walks. She enjoys sitting on the couch with you to watch TV, but you gotta put a blanket down first. Sometimes she wants to walk fast, but she's good at slowing down if you need her to. Her gentle nature made every moment with her even more special. Ed & Gayna gave me clear instructions (including some videos), so everything went smoothly. I loved looking after Daisy in such a loving home. If they need me again,(Dublin is just 2.5 hours away by plane), I'd be happy to help. Thank you for entrusting me with Daisy's care!
It was our first experience spending time with the hosts overnight before they left, and Judy and Robert couldn't have made us feel any more welcome, or relaxed. They are great hosts 😊 Robert even spent time with us recommending places for us to visit locally, which we then spent our weekend exploring. Beattie, Teasle and Toast are an absolute delight, so much fun to spend time with and we totally enjoyed our long weekend with them. Judy and Roberts house is absolutely amazing, and in a beautiful setting. We feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to spend time there and would love to go back. Definitely a 5 star sit in every way.
We had an absolutely fabulous time with Banksy and Primula. Miranda and Tris were really welcoming. The house was certainly cosy and beautiful, we stayed in December and loved coming home to the kitchen aga and log fire in the tv room. Banksy and Primula were a less mischievous but certainly as endearing 'Bimbo and Topsy', so lovely to see a cat and dog snuggling by the fire together and Prim politely suffering the dog breath when her face was licked clean ;-) Banksy was really keen to come out walking with us each day - so easy and well behaved to be out with, great in the car, never straying more than a couple of yards from us, not interested in other dogs, sat quietly in the pub - fun to be with. Primula was equally affectionate and entertaining when we were in, and again no trouble at all. The village pub was lovely and the surrounding area. All in all, would have no hesitation at all in recommending the sit, we have lots of happy memories - thanks again Miranda, Tris and of course Banksy and Prim! xx
Marielle was an amazing communicator and her home is so cozy and lovely. Maple is probably the friendliest and goofiest dog I have ever met, and Chamomile such a gentle and sweet cat. Hope we can come again :)
Had absolutely great 1/2 year house-sitting for Meltem! Balkiz is a very sweet cat, very independent a loves treats - and that is the way to her heart. She doesn't care about toys, but will run after you if you have a treat. lol She's very low maintenance, healthy and happy. The house is very well located in a very secure area, and it's only 1.5 miles from Tri-Rail station. Some major supermarkets are about 1 mile away - Aldi and Publix. Hope to house sit here again in the future!
Mckinley was a great host, and easy to communicate with. Remi is a very fun dog and we enjoyed spending time with him. He and Luna mostly get along really well. As described in the listing, Luna is very dog aggressive and would bark at other dogs on walks, but responds very well to her E-collar, which we used as instructed. We did have one incident with her, after being with her for a week, where she and Remi were “play fighting” in the backyard which turned into fighting (Remi yelped from pain) and needed to be separated. He simply stepped between them (not needing to touch either dog) but after a second of being separated she lunged at Joel and tried to bite him before being restrained and brought inside by him to calm down. This was surprising after a week of Luna being pretty comfortable around us. She’s otherwise sweet.
