We had a dilemma …. We wanted to go to a family reunion over 200 miles away that required an overnight stay and taking our pets wasn’t an option. We have a 14-year-old cocker spaniel who is deaf and only has one eye with limited vision, and we really wanted her to stay in familiar surroundings, along with the (almost) three-year-old golden retriever and the two cats. We couldn’t find friends available to cover us, so we turned to zeewoi. We looked for someone local as it was just for one night, and we are so glad we did! We read the bio for Beth and Syd and immediately felt a connection. We sent a message and to our delight Beth responded and indicated they could be available for the Saturday night and Sunday day. We arranged to meet and despite their busy work schedules, they found the time to come over and meet the gang, and upon meeting them our initial positive feelings were confirmed. They are such a lovely, interesting young couple, mature in outlook, fun and entertaining with a background in pets and animal welfare that gave us the confidence to know we had struck gold and were very lucky to have found them. They were totally unfazed with the medical needs of the spaniel and took great delight in the friendly nature of the retriever. The cats were given equal attention. They absorbed masses of information thrown at them regarding eating routines, feeding routines, looking after the property etc and after a short while we felt like we had known them for ages! They arrived on the Saturday morning at the time we had agreed. We left them with lists and pages of info and a feeling of complete trust and confidence and they did not disappoint us. Although it was only one night, upon our return the house and pets were exactly as we left them! They coped fantastically well with the aging spaniel who is very set in her ways, and the exuberant retriever who can require you to have eyes in the back of your head at times, and the two cats who do things on their terms only! In such a short time we have made two new friends and we now have them on speed dial should we ever need sitters in the future. And if we do, we would have no hesitation in calling Beth and Syd. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for animal and/or house sitters, wherever you may live!

I had a great time sitting for the adorable Polly in Kew. Christine is a very nice lady and provided a guide with everything I needed. She was always available via WhatsApp if ever I needed something during the stay.
Would definitely recommend if you like cuddles and walks along the river front; Polly would stay out for hours if she could! :)

This was a great stay! The house is in a great location and is very comfortable. Ashley's beautiful pets made the experience very lovely. The cats are very friendly and easy going. Sherlock loves a walk and attention and is a very well behaved dog. I had no issues with the pets at all and had a very relaxing time. Ashley is very easy going and communicated very well from beginning to end. Everything was very clear and she was a lovely person to deal with. Thanks for allowing me to take care of your beautiful pets :)

We had the best time with sweet Bean. I was so sad to leave him, we had really fallen in love over our 10 day sit. Bean is the perfect definition of a kitty, a little bit naughty, so cute, so sweet, and really smart. Olivia obviously cares about Bean's overall health, providing him with several difference enrichment and hunting games and quality food. Her apartment is in an amazing location and it very nice. One thing to note is the bed is a full size bed it was a bit tough for two big and tall adults but we made it work and Bean's snuggles made it even better. We would sit for him again in a heartbeat!

Mary
Lovely house, quiet street, beautiful family and gorgeous, playful, loving little kitty, Willow. Loved my time at Mary's home with lots of play time and cuddles with Willow. Willow is so adorable and such a gentle little mischievous kitten. Although she would wrap around one of my legs now and again I didn't mind at all as it was never with her claws out. This family were also very welcoming, understanding of my disability, so kind and thoughtful. Thank you. I look forward to pet sitting for you in future <3

Leo and myself had a fantastic time at Sarah's house. Sarah communicates well and left very clear instructions for everything. Sarah's house is in the middle of some fantastic walks with everything you could need, shops a few miles away and a large town nearby. If you were to be there in warmer months the garden would come into its own with views across farm land. You definitely need to drive to get the most from a stay as there are so many lovely places to explore nearby. The house itself is very comfortable with generous guest room, good cooking facilities and free eggs!
Lewa, Bacon and the ladies were a delight to look after and as our first house sit through Trusted Housesitters we definitely were spoilt. Both dogs are impeccably behaved with trusting, sunny personalities and we will both miss them very much. The ladies (hens) were no problem at all as they put themselves to bed it was just a case of food, opening and closing up for them.
We took Lewa and Bacon on one long walk per day with a shorter walk first thing before breakfast. Even though Bacon is young she kept pace with Lewa all the way and thoroughly enjoyed everything - well apart from the sea. Lewa on the other hand turned into a puppy the minute we got to the beach and did not want to leave. I am sure Bacon will come to love the sea when the weather is warmer as it was end of December. There were some particularly stunning walks across the common not far from the house with wonderful views over the downs. Lewa is extremely well trained returning on call and walking to heel when told - always on the left. Bacon is still learning as she is young but for a puppy is extraordinary - and this was mentioned by everyone that met her. They both loved being stoked and petted with Bacon enjoying cuddles. Feeding and routines were easy to follow and allowed us time to do other things.
I had to work part of the time we were there and the internet connection was great. It was a wonderful treat to sit at the kitchen table working and be able to watch the pair of greater spotted woodpeckers feeding. I also saw a nuthatch for the first time. It has inspired me to get a bird book and learn more about our native small birds. We saw lots of buzzards, kites, hawks, rabbits and deer. If you enjoy wildlife you cannot miss it here.
Sarah made us feel extremely welcome, made sure we had all we needed and we would go back in a heartbeat. Anyone whom gets the chance to look after Lewa and Bacon is very lucky.
