What a fantastic sit! I can not recommend this sit enough! I had simply the best time looking after the wonderful Odi and staying in Sandra’s lovely home. Odi was just the best and most willing of companions to explore this magical corner of Britain with. He was a bundle of pure lolloping joy with boundless energy and such a loving nature who brought a smile to everyone’s face who we met or passed on all our walks. Such a character whose love of stones, sticks and water was second to none. We enjoyed so many different walks in the area as there is just so much to explore. The coastal path and beaches are breathtakingly beautiful, white sand and crystal clear turquoise water. Wow! Sandra was so welcoming and kind and showed me one of the local walks also spending time showing me the ropes. Thank you so so much! I would return tomorrow if I could!
I fell in love. Oscar is adorable personified. He has this coy little meow that, when uttered from beneath those gorgeous big eyes, sweetly asks if you'd like to play a round of chase the wire toy...well, it's hard to resist. He loves to cuddle and will sleep right next to you at night. This boy is not shy! He loves to love and be loved—again, it's hard to resist. Michele and Oscar both earn five stars when it comes to sitting for them. Michele is a wonderful communicator and will also give you great activity ideas for the neighborhood: where to eat, to walk, or find anything you might need. And if you're a person who loves to travel, you'll adore this neighborhood. Between the farmer's market stalls on the weekend and the daily street vendors selling fruit, you'll feel transported. It's a buzz of activity and humanity. Plus, she's conveniently located near a metro, making getting around town as easy as can be. If you get the chance, spend some quality time with Oscar. You'll make a friend for life and be very happy you did.
Angela and Jim welcomed us into their comfortably cozy home to care for their sweet older girl, Amber, a real joy to sit for. Amber's routine was easy with daily walks into the nearby fields, then plenty of hanging out in the lounge in front of a warming fire. Whenever we needed a dog fix, Amber was quick to oblige. Now, about Angela and Jim. These may be two of the kindest and most accommodating hosts we have met in our over 10 years of TH pet sitting all around the world. From welcoming us into their home with a tasty dinner and friendly conversation before Amber sent them off for their holiday trip; to taking the time and effort to immediately recover and forward my misplaced mobile phone back to me. These are just genuinely fine and generous people. Oh, and did we forget to mention how truly beautiful the Cotswold area and villages are? We highly recommend this sit for all the reasons listed above!!
Fantastic sit! Kata was very hospitable, taking care to make sure we had everything we needed and providing clear instructions for everything, including the little electric car. The cats are low maintenance and lovely, especially Pötty, who we miss very much. She is the cuddliest cat we have ever encountered! Kata's house had everything we needed to feel at home and her recommendations of things to do in the surrounding area, kept us busy with lovely day trips in the little car. We would return in a heartbeat. Thanks Kata, if Pötty ever needs a new home on the other side of the world let us know ❤️
I had a fantastic sit at Kathleen's! We were able to chat before hand about what to expect, and she did a very thorough job of explaining everything I needed to now beforehand, including the cats' behavior and other things about the apartment. Ollie and Kenny were super easy going and fabulous to take care of. Ollie is especially such a sweetheart and was a great little snuggle. The apartment is in a great location in Crown Heights, close to the subway and lots of great places to eat (highly recommend The Bagel Pub and Gueros!). During the sit, Kathleen was very easy to reach if I had any questions. I would definitely sit here again!
