We cared for Max for 2 weeks in Yorkey’s Knob. It’s only 20 minutes from Cairns and allowed us to do all the amazing tourist activities in the area. We snorkeled the Great Barrier Reef and took the train and sky rail through the rain forest. There are many beautiful beaches to visit within an hour north. It was an incredible trip. Everyday we would walk Max to the local Marina or beach. Most days we were home working remotely and Max is the best coworker! Once you get to know him you will find he is so loving and just wants to be loved and get pats. Whether you’re swimming in the pool, eating lunch on the deck, or watering the plants, he will stay nearby and be your companion. We loved feeding him ice cubes and treats as he is a very animated dog with a lot of personality. Kate and Matt’s house has everything you could need. Kate is a great communicator during her travels answering questions and sharing updates. We miss our new friend Max and made some great memories on this trip!
Although Ben left us before my arrival in Bristol, Georgina opened her home to me as my trip was near and everything was ready, so my experience was about looking after her house and plants while she was away. Her home cosy, her plants beautiful, Bristol haunting and George, one of the warmest human beings I have ever met. I will always be grateful that she allowed me to be in her home, and that despite the pain of her loss, she always showed a smile, willingness and patience towards me, always looking out for me. I hope to meet you again.
Tura was an absolute sweetheart to look after! She was energetic, well behaved and loved endlessly belly rubs and cuddles! Reza and Elsa were fantastic hosts. The house was left in pristine condition for me and I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!
