Smokey is a wonderful affectionate cat, and a joy to look after. Jenny's house is very comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome. The instructions for caring for Smokey is very clear. We really enjoyed our time there, and we are looking forward to going back soon. A 5* Trusted House Sitter host 😊.
It was VERY difficult to say goodbye to this very good boy...Benson is a neighborhood celebrity for a reason! He warms up quickly and is very affectionate. He loves chest rubs and curling up with you on the couch...or on the back of the couch, where he will nuzzle into your neck and snore loudly in your ear. Impossible to be mad at something this cute. Leo and his family live in a lovely home, in great community, with friendly neighbors. The Wychwood Barns farmers market is is a great place to grab breakfast and local produce on a Saturday morning. Centrally located on major transit routes, with groceries and great restaurants in short walking distance. There are two dog parks a 5 minute walk in either direction of the house, both of which also have grass and shade outside of the dog zones. There is a cafe right around the corner from the house with a dog-friendly patio! He overheats and tires easily, so it was useful to have these outdoor spaces close by where he could be social, but also sedentary in the mornings (avoiding mid-day heat). Don't forget to pack his water bottle because he drinks a LOT of water. He can get a bit jelous if you pet other dogs, but this never escalated behond a friendly chase, and he plays very well with other dogs. He enjoys drinking tea and reading the news on his pario couch, in the morning. Thanks to Benson's family for being such lovely people, and for sharing your home and your pup. I would happily come back if our travel dates aligned in the future, and strongly suggest this sit to others bull dog fans!
This was a great sit. Dogs were loving and so cute. The cat was one of a kind. Our hosts were wonderful and explained everything well. The home was beautiful and so was the weather
