I really enjoyed housesitting for Chicki! Caring for horses was a childhood dream of mine so I was in my glory. I had three horses to feed and water including beautiful Jacob, Justin, and Lucky. It was straightforward and easy. Molly is a lovely, playful, cuddly dog and the two cats were pretty chill. There was always someone to call if I had questions. The southeast part of Kelowna is gorgeous. Lots of farmland and walking trails are easily accessible at the end of the road. The house was comfy and I loved the back deck...a perfect place to relax with a coffee or a drink and enjoy the peace and quiet.
This a was a fabulous sit. I got to meet Toby and instructions were clear and we kept in touch. Max and Jo were great, and easy to care for, as was the house which was clean and uncluttered. I enjoyed preparing meals in the bright kitchen. The bed was very comfy and I loved the hot tub!
Emily is an incredibly lovely person. She lives in a beautiful apartment in the middle of Bondi. Sammy is a well-behaved dog who we both immediately took to our hearts. Communication with Emily went smoothly. She had prepared a very good and clear document so that we were well informed about Sammy and the apartment. We felt completely at home and wish them both all the best from the bottom of our hearts!
Julia and Greg have a wonderful two storey home close to all the ammenities. Odie the staffy is just a big darling! He has the sweetest nature and loves a good ball. Our weekend with him was blissful and we will miss his cheeky smile and bedtime cuddles. Would definitely recommend and sit again.
Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Samuel but he was very easy to communicate with and answered messages promptly both before and during the stay, checking in regularly to make sure everything was going well and there was nothing I needed. He kindly sent me various videos showing me where things were, how gadgets work and everything I needed to know for the sit. Willow was rather nervous and shy when we first met - well, I was a stranger appearing in her house - but after a few treats she warmed to me and we became good friends. Willow is a very sweet and friendly dog, loving nothing better than a good walk and many tummy rubs. She also loves curling up on the sofa with you and will share your bed given half the chance. However, she's also happy on her own bed - you just have to say 'Willow bed!' and she'll settle down. Shrewsbury is a lovely town and if you like walking you're not far from Church Stretton and the beautiful Shropshire hills. I definitely recommend sitting for Willow (and Samuel).
Matt and Chelsea were such wonderful hosts and Memphis is the best pup. He’s so well behaved, sweet natured and just a pleasure to be in the company of (I was so sad to say goodbye to him!). Their house is in a fabulous spot of Amsterdam, right by the canals and countless cute shops/restaurants/bars/coffee places ect.. - they even sent me a huge list of all their favourite places and spots around the city. I felt safe and comfortable in their home and we kept in touch regularly if I needed anything or to send pictures of Memph. I highly highly recommend Matt&Chelsea’s home and want to thank them again for allowing me to stay and experience Amsterdam like a local! 10/10!
